    ?

After finishing the work, the painter quickly packed up his tools and prepared to leave.  They usually contract labor and materials, and how much it costs to paint a coffin together with the paint, and their wages will be paid by the coffin shop owner, which has nothing to do with our family, so there is no need for them to stay here.

Under the reminder of my cousin, I quickly took two packs of cigarettes and sent them over.  The male painter took the cigarette, thanked him repeatedly, and drove away with his companion in the battery car with a smile on his face.  From their expressions, I could tell that they were in a pretty good mood.  Because, in fact, they only have an employment relationship with the coffin shop owner, but under such circumstances, we still give them two packs of cigarettes. For them, this is definitely a great favor.  From this, it is not difficult to see that my cousin is tactful in handling things, and I guess that my cousin's extensive network of contacts is earned in a similar way.

After being painted, the wooden coffin is completely different from the previous dimness. It is shiny and eye-catching.  Recently, the neighbors have paid more attention to our family's affairs. Now that they have discovered the changes in the wooden coffin, they will naturally come to see what's new.  Therefore, it didn't take long for the new coffin to be surrounded.

Many people feel that after the paint is applied, the rings (annual rings) can no longer be seen.  Under such circumstances, it is obviously extremely difficult to identify the model and quality of the wooden coffin.  Therefore, many people verbally admired their father's foresight during his lifetime.  Some elderly people are even thinking about whether they should make the same explanation to their children (first bring back the ordered coffin, and then paint it).  After all, almost everyone around took the coffin very seriously.  In order to live a happy life after going to another world, many people feel that they should make plans early.

While chatting and sighing, many people have already smoked cigarettes unknowingly.  In the countryside, unlike in the city, there are so many particulars. When smoking, everyone is used to flicking the ashes away.  As a result, amidst the smog, the cigarette ash bounced by those who stood upwind more or less floated towards the wooden coffin standing silently.  If left for a while longer, such soot may not be able to cause much damage.  But now, the wooden coffin has only just been painted, and the paint that is still in a liquid state is extremely absorbent. Once the white soot floats on it, it is very unfortunate that it is firmly stuck.  Even if you are very distressed, you can't wipe it immediately, because the paint is still wet, and the surface will be scratched after a little wiping, making the wooden coffin even more ugly.  However, if you don't wipe it off immediately, after the paint dries, the little soot stuck on it will never be removed again.

Anyway, the result is sad.  Whether it was discovered immediately or not, the artificial blemishes caused by the painting of wooden coffins cannot be removed after all.  What's more, if people come to wait and see, it can be regarded as giving you face. If you have a bad relationship, even if you invite them, they will not come over!  Therefore, even if you find something is wrong, it is inconvenient for you to drive everyone away regardless of face, and at most remind everyone to pay a little attention.  But, you say pay attention, can they pay attention?  The answer is of course no.  Because these old men and grandmothers in the countryside are used to freedom, and the habits they have formed over the years cannot be changed just by changing them.  They may remember what you said and pay attention to it for a few minutes, but after a chat, they will unconsciously germinate again.  Because they didn't destroy it intentionally, they just did it inadvertently. This is the so-called habit becomes natural.  Naturally, it was destroyed again unintentionally.

Looking at the little flaws, I can only blame myself for not thinking well when I feel heartbroken.  After all, even if there is no cigarette ash floating around, as long as there is wind, there will always be dust on the drying yard.  The damage already done is irreparable, and what I can do now is to try to avoid the damage from happening again.

After the paint on the coffin dries a little (otherwise, whatever comes in contact with it will be firmly stuck to it), I found a few disposable tablecloths (thin film type given when buying cold dishes)  simple tablecloth), and then carefully cover the wooden coffin.

I finally breathed a sigh of relief.  After all, the visitor is a guest, so I can't force them not to smoke, right?  Now, no matter how much they muttered beside the wooden coffin, they would never cause any harm to the wooden coffin.  Besides, the weather is not controlled by anyone, and if there is any sudden bad weather (gale, rainstorm, etc.), I don't have to worry about the wooden coffin that I just painted.  On the contrary, even if the weather is always good¡ªthe sun is shining in the sky, but the paint that has just been painted is definitely not good when it is exposed to the sun. In severe cases, small bubbles will even appear on the surface of the paint.

As long as they came to my house, almost none of them went to have a look at the coffin, and some of them smoked.  I didn't go over to remind people to pay attention. After all, saying it is tantamount to not saying it, so why bother to waste such words?  These days, the weather has been sunny,Therefore, the climate is quite dry, and as long as there is a little wind, there will always be dust outside.  However, I know that now these hateful cigarette ashes and boring dust can only helplessly fall on the tablecloth, instead of causing even the slightest damage to the newly painted coffin surface.

In the early morning of the second day, after delivering breakfast to my father, I went to the wooden coffin and wiped the tablecloth covering the wooden coffin with my hands.  My dear!  So much dust!  At this time, I was a little thankful for my foresight.  If it weren't for this tablecloth, how much dirt would the viscous paint absorb on the surface of the wooden coffin?

I remember when we were young, the teacher often taught us: "Success favors those who are prepared." Now, I seem to understand the profound connotation of this sentence better.  This time, if the tablecloth hadn't been prepared to cover the wooden coffin in advance, then at this moment, all the dust on the tablecloth would be firmly stuck to the surface of the wooden coffin.  At that time, the wooden coffin will not only have some white spots and flaws. In order not to make the wooden coffin too ugly, we have to ask a painter to come over and paint it again.  In that way, it is not a waste of money, but the most important thing is a waste of time.  Because the time for father's funeral has already been set, and if the repainted paint has not dried yet, it will be quite troublesome.  Think about it, the person who carries the coffin, it is impossible not to touch the wooden coffin, right?  How embarrassing would it be if one press was a fingerprint?  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
