    ??Unconsciously, I have written the series "Corpse Investigation Division" into its third season. As the readership increases, more and more questions follow.

    "Are you really a policeman?"

    "Are these cases real?"

    These are the two questions most frequently asked by readers in my Weibo private messages.

    Since I was in high school, I have been a bookworm. I have devoured almost all the novels on the market that I like to read.  Many years later, when I picked up the pen to write my own story, I discovered that my concept of the word "novel" was very vague.  Many people discuss the wonderfulness of xx novels in their spare time, but what is the real concept of "novel" and how many people understand it?

    "Novel" is explained in the Xinhua Dictionary: "It is a literary genre that focuses on portraying characters and reflects social life through complete storylines and environmental descriptions."

    The literal meaning is easy to understand. Since a book is called a "novel", it must be able to reflect at least a certain aspect of social life.  As a criminal investigation novel, its foothold must at least respect the actual work of the police.  In the criminal investigation novels I have read, many famous writers are keen on describing "major cases". "Major cases" can indeed bring a strong sensory impact to people, but how much material is there in real "major cases"?

    Since I started working in 2008, I have been working on the front line of criminal investigation for more than eight years. I have handled at least several thousand cases, but "serial murders" and "perverted murders" can be said to be only a handful.  In this era of rapid information development, if such a case occurs in a certain place, it will probably spread throughout the country overnight. Once such a "major case" occurs, the entire police force will definitely be involved to arrest it.

    All investigators who have participated in handling cases know that in fact, "big cases" are not difficult to solve, but it is often the "small cases" that truly test a person's ability to handle cases. Therefore, in my book, most of them are cases that happened one after another.  My purpose is to let everyone truly experience the entire process of a case from the occurrence to the detection of the "small cases" around me, and these "cases" may have happened around you.

    My main job is to be a police officer. Writing is just my hobby. I don’t make a living from it.  I personally think that novels are not about showing readers superb writing techniques, nor are they outlining those mysterious and mysterious stories. As criminal investigation novels, they must at least reflect the objective and true "criminal investigation system". In our country's public security team, it is not at all  Missing "Sherlock Holmes", the "Corpse Investigation" series is to allow everyone to truly feel their existence.

    Often when a crime occurs, everyone can only stand outside the warning circle and wait and see.
