    Finally, I can sit down and fiddle with words.

    I've been very busy for a while, and when I'm free, I just want to have a good rest.  Those so-called "laoshizi" who are worried, hated, loved, resented don't know where they have gone.

    It seems that those worries are caused by those who have nothing to do; it seems that those grudges are only born by boring people.

    Can't change my habits, although I haven't grasped the pen, I'm always thinking about it to some extent.

    ?My thoughts are very chaotic, and there is no new surge, so I can only sort out the disabled sentences that have been discarded.

    Turn on the computer, listen to a piece of Qin opera, and then think about writing about it.

    Wang Baochuan, who had not finished writing in Zhenjiang, was still "hanging out" there, so I will add this one.

    The play "Wang Baochuan" is a famous play in Qin Opera.  When I was still ignorant of Qin Opera, I already knew the name "Wang Baochuan".

    There is a saying in childhood songs:

    Wang Baochuan, it's really pitiful, he carried a cage to scoop out the vegetables (Note: The cage is the dialect version of the hometown of the basket.)

    In the eyes of the villagers, "Wang Baochuan" is synonymous with pity and poverty.  I didn't know much about the world at that time, but I only knew that Wang Baochuan was poor and lived by digging wild vegetables.  Everything else about her is very vague.

    Later, after seeing a lot of Qin Opera excerpts "Wudianpo" (also known as "Wujiapo", as in Beijing opera), I had some initial impressions of Wang Baochuan.

    "Three Claps", "Exploring the Kiln", "Farewell to the Kiln" and so on are all famous works about Wang Baochuan.  Qin people like Qin opera, it can be said that everyone knows it, and everyone knows it.

    Gradually, after watching more dramas, Wang Baochuan's demeanor gradually became complete.  Once, in my mind, her image was like this:

    That is a woman who will not dislike the poor and love the rich-willing to marry a beggar;

    That is a woman who promises a lot of money - once she wins the lottery ball, she vows to die;

    That was a rebellious woman¡ªfor the sake of her husband, she broke with her father at the expense of breaking up with her father, high-fived her in anger, and moved out of the prime minister's residence;

    It was a woman who fell in love with her¡ªnot adored by Ronghua, not too poor and humble, but willing to live in a cold cave with her sweetheart;

    That is a woman who has been devoted to her life - 18 years of waiting for her husband, unwavering;

    That is a woman who endured poverty¡ªfor eighteen years, she lived in hardships and hardships, and in poverty, she could only dig wild vegetables to satisfy her hunger;

    That is a woman who guards her body like a jade-sister-in-law Wei Hu has repeatedly forced her, she is not bent on power, nor is she obsessed with money;

    It is such a woman who has made a good story.  So far, many people still appreciate her legendary life and sigh her deep affection while savoring the opera.

    I am writing this as a man, for those who are "feminist".  My above words about Wang Baochuan will probably attract some meaningless criticism and spittle.  You don't have to worry too much about laughing and scolding.

    ?Everyone, please understand that the above "image of Wang Baochuan" is just my previous impression. Let me explain the changes and developments later. Don't rush to draw conclusions!

    (two)

    Regarding the story of Wang Baochuan, I once heard critical voices, saying that it is the legacy of the system of male superiority and inferiority, that it is the shackles set on women, and that it is the dross that requires women to stick to it.

    These are a bit of a "certain class critic", with a deep imprint of the times, so let him.

    Let's take a look at the comments of the female writer Zhang Ailing first. She reads this play from the perspective of women.  As a woman, Zhang herself may have more sophisticated insights.  Eileen Chang wrote an article "Foreigners Watching Peking Opera and Others", which contains the following text:

    ""Red Maned Horse" meticulously describes the selfishness of men. Xue Pinggui devoted himself to his career for eighteen years, and calmly put his wife in the cold kiln like a fish in the refrigerator. One day, he suddenly  Feeling worried, Xingye hurried back home. The best years of her life had been ruined by poverty and the loneliness of a social traitor, but he thought that the joy of reunion was enough to compensate for everything before. He didn't put herself in her shoes  Think about it¡ªhe made her a queen, queen in Princess Daizhan¡¯s territory! Begging for a living at the hands of a young concubine in power! No wonder she died eighteen days after making her queen¡ªshe  No such blessing. But even though Xue Pinggui is not considerate to women, he is still written as a good person"

    As a woman, Eileen Chang naturally followed her gender.  sheYes; some words are spoken, and may even be ridiculed, teased, and humiliated in vain.

    Wang Baochuan's insight lies in her own opinion of doing things.

    These words of mine are not made up indiscriminately, based on imagination.  There are dramas to prove it, let¡¯s look at a libretto written by Wang Baochuan to his father:

    Jiang Ziya was fishing on the Wei River;

    Confucian Chen Cai never passed food;

    Han Xin begged for food and worshiped his prime minister;

    Baili Xi let others go to the sheep;

    Take these celebrities, names, ministers, and generals,

    One, one person praises,

    Which one, he won the champion?

    Don't underestimate the poor, Daddy,

    How many poor and humble people are the pillars.

    Wang Baochuan's words could not be more clear, don't think that Xue Pinggui is a beggar today, you just underestimate him, maybe one day he may become a rich and powerful person, or even the lord of a land or a country.

    ? Not just the above isolated evidence.  Later, Wang Baochuan wrote a libretto to his mother:

    ? On the second day of February, the dragon appears

    Wang Baochuan, in front of the dressing room

    The prince and grandson have tens of millions

    Hydrangea, beggar male singles

    When the "dragon" appeared, Wang Baochuan did not choose thousands of princes and grandchildren, but chose to throw the ball to the beggar. Is there any deep meaning in this?

    Wang Baochuan had expectations for Xue Pinggui, and it was a dream that Wang had had on the eve of Wudianpo to elevate this expectation into an illusory reality.

    Let's look at the libretto in front of Wudianpo:

    It was so rare to dream last night;

    Wang Baochuan sat in Chaoyang courtyard;

    ? Cry loudly and go to the fifth watch;

    The longing for her husband is in the dream, and I am sitting in the Chaoyang courtyard of the Dragon Palace and Fengque.  Eighteen years, this expectation has been lingering in my mind.

    Facts have proved that Wang Baochuan's vision is unique. The husband she chose subdued the red-maned horse, fought against the Xiliang Kingdom, and became the ruler of Xiliang.

    These prove that the marriage was not unreasonable.

    As for sticking to it for eighteen years, in my opinion.  What Wang's Bao Chuan guards is not only the love between husband and wife, but also a breath and a hope.

    She used perseverance to prove her choice in this life.  According to Eileen Chang, it seems that Wang Baochuan only got 18 days of glory for his perseverance. I don't know if there is any basis for it.  Perhaps, for most people, including me, eighteen days is enough!  isn't it?

    ?In life, how much fun is there for a walking dead man?  Wang Baochuan's life is hard, but she has no complaints or regrets, she has hope in her heart, and she also waited for her lover back, this is enough, what more can you ask for?

    In this world, how many "traitors to society" as Eileen Chang said are happy to leave and never return?
