    That evening meant a lot.

For Joan, it was almost a dream.

When she came back from the beach, the sky was getting cooler and bluer, which made her panic.

Under the light of many stars, when the wind blows her hair away, she feels the anticipation and joy in her soul, and the touch of love and destiny

Immediately afterwards, before the lights of the city, before the night fell, a strange man approached, so familiar and kind.  As he got closer, she was about to see his eyes, the dreamlike light in his eyes

At the end of that summer, many things were destined to happen.

The old placido domingo came to this city to perform two performances in the Grand Theater.

It happened to be the weekend, and the Cultural Affairs Bureau had sent the tickets to the various departments of the municipal public security organs.  There are not many people in the research room where Luo Zi works, everyone has two tickets, and Luo Zi asked for one for each session.

Others thought he wanted to watch it twice.

In fact, Luo Zi was not sure, he didn't know which one he would watch.

He is a thorough "naturalist" (this is often understood as a "liberal" by others), just like he never stipulates what he paints in his creation, what he paints is entirely based on his inner impulse.

In his life, he never makes any plans, arrangements and settings.

"I am what I am, and life is life," he said.

He never knew what he should do tomorrow.

"You don't have to worry about it, what life should give you, it will show up naturally." He said to the two doctoral students who had just entered the research room, their open and secret struggles became more and more explicit.

However, they didn't listen to Luo Zi's words, nor did they believe them.  People like Luo Zi don't know how to play games at all. They are so old-fashioned and outdated. They are destined not to benefit from the competition.

Neither did they contradict him.  In some ways, they are more sober than he is.  One of them, a PhD in anthropology, once hinted to Luo Zi that he stayed in the wrong place.

He also hinted further: If Roz gets out, they will like him even more!

Although Luo Zi was the first to come, it is only natural that he should get out of the way.

These highly educated intellectual upstarts often reveal their political eagerness for quick success and ignorance of non-professionals.

They are personable and full of cool words. When they see those rough people who have transferred from the army, they deliberately imitate the Taipei accent to scare him: "Hey, I have been waiting for a long time, why are you still not coming?"

Or, simply put your hands in your trouser pockets and say, "When I was in the United States"

Let those former military officers who don't understand computers and English, and only have a high school education, feel extremely inferior.

? Two doctoral students are busy with office politics. They are chic on the outside but nervous on the inside, kicking each other's heels.

?Sometimes, they also gathered together to be mean to the department leaders¡ª¡ªDirector Chen Heng: Telling stories everywhere:

"Zhang Sanshan composes, Li Sishan counts, Chen Wu asks Zhang San to count, Li Si composes, and then Zhang Li can't, so he asks Chen Wu to teach him. As time goes by, Zhang Li becomes more inferior, incompetent, and criticized, and Chen Wu becomes more great, becoming  Assess outstanding professional households"

After hearing this, Chen Heng quickly handed over his outstanding indicators for the annual assessment.

In fact, Director Chen Heng is the most diligent. He arrives first and leaves at the latest every day, and takes good care of these newcomers.  He only saw their young and intelligent faces, not their jealous or even murderous expressions.

Because, in Chen Heng's view, they are successors after all, and it is his responsibility to train them, take care of them, and let them become talents.

Chen Heng was most worried about Luo Zi.

He always felt that Luo Zi had gone the wrong way, and didn't work hard in the direction he should work hard.

Whenever he speaks earnestly to Luo Zi, he will be blocked by Luo Zi: "Yes, I will do what I have to do. For the rest, give me freedom and time. This is what I need most. I don't want anything else. You will pay for it."  You don't have to tell me."

Often at this time, Chen Heng laughed and scolded: "You guys have to get out sooner or later, the fox's tail will always show!"

"You tell the minister, let me go to the Federation of Literary and Art Circles."

"Mass group, what are you going to do?" Chen Heng's body rubbed against the back of the full leather executive chair, turned a small half circle, and assumed the elegant posture of a civil servant.

Chen Heng understands him, appreciates him, and accommodates him.

RozLuo Zi stepped forward: "What's the problem? Do you need my help?"

He pinched his legs at the same time, and the trouser pocket was empty.  He is a man who rarely puts his wallet in his pocket.

Luo Zi showed a sorry expression: "Miss, I"

He spread his hands and shrugged.

    She doesn't move.

He had no choice but to say: "Miss, you can go on ahead." He pointed to the neon-lit city behind her, "It's not far away!"

However, the woman looked at him persistently, and slowly, there was a kind of uncontrollable excitement, and her face became as vivid as a flower petal.

She said: "Sir, don't get me wrong. I just want to ask you, are you from Chongqing?"

"What's the matter? Are you from Chongqing?"

"If you are from Chongqing, do you know the small town of Wuga in the Daba Mountain area?"

Luo Zi's heart beat suddenly, the bridge of his nose became sore, and hot tears welled up in his eyes.

He put his arms around her shoulders: "Go¡ª"

    twelve

In a small box in the Shangri-La Western Restaurant, Joan and Luo Zi kept speaking Chongqing dialect and whispering.

Luo Zi was very excited and couldn't restrain himself.

Joan kept wiping the tears off her face.

    They were silent.

    He looked at her intently.

In the thin light, he saw her face as if in a mirror.  This is a woman in the mirror.

In a short period of time, about two hours or so, he discovered a miracle: this woman was so familiar, she seemed to be the woman he had known and liked all along.

This woman in the mirror, he has seen her in his dreams more than once: her expression, her eyes, her hair and her back

Yes, he used to see her often, and every time he was so uncertain.  But now, after seeing her, he understood that it was this dim-eyed woman who kept appearing in his dreams or hallucinations!

Luo Zi held her hand across the small table.

Her hands are small and thin, and feel like a child's hand.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
