    ?

This day is quite a leisurely day.  I have almost nothing to do.  However, except for eating, I stayed in the inpatient department on the 21st floor all day long, not daring to leave.  It was the waiting with nothing to do that made me feel that this was also a rather boring day.

I know that tomorrow morning, I will be busy, so in the evening, I will lie down early to rest.  Unfortunately, the situation in the ward is different from yesterday.  After the boy's father moved to the ward, he either coughed or groaned.  The painful moaning beside my ear was extremely tenacious preventing me from falling asleep.  In addition, he had to infuse at night, so the ward was kept brightly lit.  Under the double interference of the noise in my ears and the light in front of my eyes, it was even more difficult for me, who was already a little sensitive, to fall asleep.

I turned over and over, the more anxious I was to fall asleep (I wanted to get enough energy so that I could take care of my father with full energy tomorrow), the more excited I became.  I almost tossed all night.  The most painful thing is that I can't say anything, I can only suffer in silence.

It felt like he had just fallen asleep in a daze, only to be woken up by an even louder sound.  I took out my phone and looked at it, it was more than five o'clock in the morning.  I know that the 21st floor has become active again.  From now on, it will be more difficult to fall asleep.  Sure enough, not long after, the middle-aged man from the hospital bed to the north walked in.  Rubbing his sleepy eyes, he lay down on the extra bed next to the north hospital bed to take a nap again.

I felt very sleepy, so I didn't get up immediately like yesterday morning, but who would have thought that I fell asleep again in a daze.

Woke up suddenly, looked at the time, it was not yet seven o'clock.  Today, my father came out of the intensive care unit, and I know that there are many things to be busy soon.  So, get up quickly.

Not long after washing up, my brother-in-law and mother came and brought me a hearty breakfast.  After I finished eating, it was almost half past seven.  With experience, you will be able to do the procedure correctly and take your time.  After a short rest, we first visited my father in the intensive care unit.  Then, we went to the ward and pushed the bed out.  Move the bed to one side, and ask the nurse to replace all the sheets, quilt covers, and pillowcases with new ones.  Instead of waiting for a long time like the boys did yesterday, we pushed the hospital bed into the intensive care unit almost without waiting.

This time, I stood decisively on the side of my father's head.  I supported my father's shoulders, and my brother-in-law supported my father's feet and buttocks, and they worked hard together to move my father to the hospital bed.  To my relief, there was no "dragging" situation this time.  Be careful all the way, and finally brought my father to the ward without any danger.

?My father can really endure what ordinary people can't bear. During the whole relocation process, I didn't hear him snort.  The attending doctor participated in the whole process. After the bed was parked and fixed, he said to us very solemnly: "All the tubes on the patient's body, except for this urinary catheter, you have to put urine every once in a while, any other tubes must be drained.  Don't touch it!"

After hearing this, my mother, brother-in-law and I all nodded hurriedly.  In fact, I don't need to be told by the attending physician.

"Must remember, don't touch it! This is a matter of human life!" The attending physician seemed not at ease, and emphasized again very solemnly.

"I know. Without your permission, we dare not touch it!" The mother replied with some fear while looking at the various tubes all over the father's body.

"From now on, patients can't eat anything without my permission!" Seeing our serious expressions, the attending physician continued.

"Okay, we got it." The brother-in-law seemed to be afraid that the attending physician would repeat it again, so he hurriedly replied.

"You can't even drink water! Be sure to remember, otherwise, once the esophageal anastomotic stoma becomes inflamed, it will be dangerous."

Seeing that his goal had not been achieved, the brother-in-law shook his head helplessly.  Seeing this, I was afraid that the attending physician would misunderstand me, so I quickly promised: "Don't worry, Director. We will definitely follow your instructions to the letter. In your words, this is a matter of life and death.  We will never take it lightly!"

Maybe I feel that everything that should be explained has been explained, maybe I am completely relieved of us. Anyway, after I finished speaking, the attending physician left the ward with a smile on his face.

Later, several batches of doctors came, but no one came to ask about his father's condition.  To us, they are like passers-by on the street.

Just like yesterday, soon the nurses were busy.  Oxygen and pain relief pumps were put in place immediately, and the infusion began not long after.  I could see that the emotions of the mother and brother-in-law were obviously relaxed.  Perhaps, in their view, it should be safe now, and there is nothing to do except to see how far the liquid in the infusion bottle has been infused.??

"Let me just watch here today." Seeing their expressions, I seemed a little worried about my brother-in-law and mother, so I volunteered.

"That's fine, if there's nothing else, then we'll leave first. Coincidentally, I have to go to the work unit today." The brother-in-law said bluntly without pretentiousness.

"Wait a minute, I see that the patients here are all wearing such-and-such (a synonym for style) clothes when they are going out. You can also see that father has many tubes on his body, so this kind of clothes is easy to wear. If you have  If it is empty, then you can go to the small commodity market to see if there is any one for sale. I inquired about it, and it seems to be about 100 yuan a set."

"Okay, even if I'm not free, your sister will definitely be able to find time." After finishing speaking, the brother-in-law left with his mother.

? Yesterday's leisure is gone forever. Although I didn't have a good rest last night, I have to work hard at this moment.  I tried my best to keep my eyes wide open, mainly to stare at my father, and occasionally to take a look at the situation of the infusion, and as soon as I found that it was ready to change, I would ring the reminder bell immediately.  The efficiency of the nurses is quite high, and they usually arrive in time.

Father's spirit is not very good, but still wants to talk.  I could hear that his voice was hoarse.  This may be related to esophageal surgery.  I know that my father needs more rest now, and it is not suitable for him to talk more. Therefore, as soon as my father opens his mouth, I will promptly dissuade him by saying, "Dad, talk less and rest more."

"Rest, lie on the bed all day, don't want to rest!" Every time, my father would complain because of my words.  However, my father knew that I said this because I cared about him, so after complaining, he obediently kept his mouth shut.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
