    ?

Going to see grandma in a nursing home, I got out of the car and thought I was going wrong.  Looking up, I saw the colorful gates of the kindergarten and the little dolls jumping out.

Next to the colorful gate is a low-key brown wooden door, the tone of an old house in Kyoto, without any logo, the door number is exactly what I was looking for.

I have been away from home all the time, so I am ashamed to see my grandma for the first time in so long.

There are only two or three elderly people in the hall, sitting in wheelchairs, surrounded by staff and family members, speaking in a low voice, scattered in different corners.

The elevator door in the distance opened, the wheelchair was pushed out, and grandma was seen at a glance.  She stared at me, looked hard, suddenly called out my name loudly, grabbed my hand, and was as happy as the little doll bouncing outside the door just now.

Push her to the yard to bask in the sun.  The yard of the nursing home and the kindergarten are only separated by a wooden fence with a door in between.  The staff said that now the local kindergartens and nursing homes are like this, built next to each other.  Children often push open the wooden door in the middle to talk and sing with their grandparents.

What do they think when they stare at each other, talk and hold hands?

    Those of my past.

    Those are my future.

"This tree is so tall and grows too fast." Grandma suddenly sighed.

I looked up at the ginkgo in front of me, which was golden and lit up the whole yard, "Isn't it, so it's a small one?"

Grandma nodded, and gestured for a very short head with her hand, "It was so small when it first came here."

"It's amazing." I looked up with her.

Grandma has only lived here for more than half a year.

The courtyard is very carefully arranged. It is so cold, but there are still flowers in bloom. There are many flower buds of camellias, and some of them are blooming lively.  I picked up a few petals that fell between the branches and put them in my grandma's hands. She stroked them carefully, and looked like a child happily.

Pushing her around many times, besides admiring every flower and plant, she kept asking me how I was doing.  Every time she turns around, she will repeat the same question, because she has forgotten what she asked before.

She kept asking, and I kept answering. We looked around at the camellias, willows, and plums surrounded by fake flowers.

Sitting in a wheelchair in the corner was an old man with snow-white hair.  There is a young staff member beside her, who should be basking in the sun with her.  When family members are unable to come, they will pay an extra fee, and the staff will accompany the elderly out to bask in the sun.

Accompanied by the coupons to bask in the sun

However, it is just basking in the sun and nothing else.  The staff kept looking down at their phones, very focused.  The old man sat quietly at the side, his gaze was always on a newly planted weeping willow in front of him, motionless.  She would look up at us as we passed, and soon slip back into her solitary silence.  The sun was shining brightly, covering her whole body.

The visiting time is up, and I accompany my grandma to the elevator door.

"Are you leaving now?" She was suddenly a little anxious.

"Grandma has to go back to rest." The staff member bent down to comfort her kindly.

I wanted to say something, but my grandma spoke first, "Go back, I'll be fine."

You should be fine too.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
