    ?

    Under the vigorous promotion of Yuan Zhen, the preparatory work of Han Wo's marriage "three letters and six rituals" was completed very quickly.

    Today is the day when the man goes to the woman's house to "carry the dowry".

    Han Wo knew that Ji Xu and Liu Ji had nothing to do in the guild hall, so he sent a servant to invite them to come to the house to help.  Ji Xu and Liu Ji really wanted to know more about the wedding customs in the north, so they happily followed Xiaotong to Han Wo's house.

    In the afternoon, Ji Xu and Liu Ji happily went to the bride's house to "carry the dowry" with Han Wo's cousins.

    [1] The Book of Songs "Guofeng. Zhou Nan. Taoyao"

    Recipe, Shining;

    The son returns home, suitable for his family.

    The peach is so young, there is a lotus [1] in fact;

    The son returns home, suitable for his family.

    Peach's Yaoyao, its Ye Zhen [2] Zhen;

    The son returns home, suitable for his family.

    The courtyard of Fei'er's house is filled with dowry draped with red thread; the lobby is full of neighbors and neighbors watching "Looking at the Dowry".

    Dafang is also helping out at his sister's house, in fact, to watch the fun.  Seeing Ji Xu coming, I was really happy and excited, and kept chasing after Ji Xu's butt: "Are you coming tomorrow?"

    "I don't know." Ji Xu ignored her, and just kept moving the dowry onto the car.

    "To welcome the bride tomorrow, why don't you come?" Da Fang asked again.

    "Mr. Han didn't arrange for me."

    "Then come to our house tomorrow to carry the bride - the bride's feet cannot touch the ground tomorrow, and you know that"

    "I don't know! I'm never married."

    "I know you've never been married, so why don't I tell you that Fei'er doesn't have an older brother, and my little nephew is so young, it's impossible to carry her on the sedan chair from the boudoir, so just treat her as an older brother for a while.  Please~"

    "I'll send the dowry back first, and then ask Mr. Han!"

    "Oh~ Then shall I wait for you~"

    After Ji Xu left with the dowry, Dafang happily told Luoluo, "Sister, don't worry, I've found the brother who carried the bride."

    Luoluo happily asked: "Who did you find?"

    Da Fang said proudly: "Of course it is Ji Xu, Mr. Ji."

    Luo Luo asked, "Did he agree to come?"

    Dafang said: "He said he would go back and ask Han Donglang first."

    Luo Luo said: "Then I have to find someone to inform him, let him come tonight and tomorrow, how come in time?"

    Dafang hurriedly said: "I'll go, I'll tell him!" After speaking, he ran away.

    [2] "Book" Li Qiao. Poetry

    ? Cutting the Jane and seeing the dragon, the birds in the Linchi are comfortable;

    The gossip of Hetu came out, and it was the beginning of Jiuchou in Luofan.

    ? The dew is full of spring, and the collapse of the clouds is still strong;

    Please look into the wood, an inch is not empty.

    Da Fang came to Han Wo's house on horseback.

    Seeing that the dowry has been unloaded on the hall, many folks from the village came to watch, which is also called "seeing the dowry".  Neighbors in the neighborhood watched, laughed and discussed.

    Seeing Princess Dafang coming in, Han Wo's mother quickly saluted and told her: young people are writing happy couplets in the study.

    When Da Fang came to the study, he could hear the laughter of young people from afar.  She didn't dare to rush in, but just hid at the door and listened to the laughter of the people inside.

    Ji Xu's calligraphy is very good, and all Xilian and "‡Ö" characters are written by him.

    Hearing that everyone was only commenting on their own calligraphy, he said: "Geniuses, don't just talk about it, think about what kind of happy couplets you should write"

    "Well, let me get a pair first!" Liu Ji said with a smile.

    The couplet he gave is:

    ? Emerald green red, everywhere Ying Ying Yan Yan;

    Ups and downs, year after night, day and night.

    The upper couplet of this happy couplet is about flowers, that is, the scenery; the second couplet is about people, that is, about marriage.  No one person appears in this couplet, but it makes people feel the deep affection between lovers, which is very touching.

    While joking, Liu Yuchun paid Biyu the full ransom, and happily led Biyu in.  He whispered to everyone: "The little princess is at the door, I asked her to come in, but she didn't come in."

    Hearing Liu Yuchun's mysterious tone, Ji Xu looked up at Liu Yuchun and said, "Why, brother Liu, this flower in the capital is yours!"

    Liu Yuchun grinned and said, "Yes! Then what else do you want?"

    But Liu Ji asked: "Little sister-in-law, have you seen the dowry all over the hall? How much have you prepared? Why don't you do it tomorrow?"??The marriage is settled together.  "

    "Hey~, don't be in a hurry, things have to be done one by one, and weddings have to be enjoyed by each family." Liu Yuchun said, "We have to go back to our hometown to hold a wedding. I promised to give Nye a 'Ten Miles of Taoyuan'."

    Liu Ji asked: "What's 'Ten Miles of Taoyuan'?"

    Liu Yuchun said: "I promised her to buy the ten-mile peach garden in Nanshan of my house and give it to her. How about it as her dowry?"

    Liu Ji smiled and said: "You can do it if you say it, and you can do it if you don't!"

    Ji Xu asked: "Sister-in-law likes peach blossoms?"

    Liu Yuchun said: "Ever since I took her to Dongshan to see peach blossoms two months ago, I have loved her so much. I said, there is also a peach forest on the Nanshan of my house, which is much bigger than this. If you marry me, I will buy it."  Come down and give it to you."

    "Oh, then this can't be considered a dowry, it can be considered an engagement at most." Ji Xu said again: "Brother Zhengshi, you should also present a pair for this couple!"

    Liu Yuchun pondered for a moment, and said his happy couplet:

    Beside the eternal sorrow, I have a moment of joy;

    On the Sansheng Stone, there is no marriage for some children.

    Everyone said yes.

    The first couplet expresses that people will inevitably encounter troubles in life, but as long as they work hard, bad things can immediately turn into good things; the second couplet means that marriage is destined for three lives, and everyone will more or less come into contact with fate.

    Notes

    [1] Fen (f¨¦n): The appearance of many fruits.

    [2] Zhen Zhen (zh¨¥n): The appearance of lush leaves.

    [3] "Looking at the dowry" is a custom during the wedding process, which is divided into two parts:

    One is at the woman's home.  The woman puts the dowry in the hall for people to watch, which is called "watching the dowry".  All utensils are hung with red thread, clothes, etc. are scented with sandalwood, and several silver dollars are placed at the bottom of the box, commonly known as "press box money".

    Second, when the man brings the dowry home, it is also placed in front of the hall for people to visit.  In front of everyone in the neighborhood, the mother-in-law took out the woman's key bag and took the key to open the box, commonly known as "out of the box".

    What happened to "Best Man in Bed"?

    After carrying back the "dowry" from the woman, a "Quanfu" woman took 24 pairs of chopsticks and tied them with red threads, and placed them under the groom's mat, which is called "an bed".  After the bed is made, a little boy with both parents will sleep with the groom and sleep inside the bed, called "best man".  In the evening, the little boy should be given buns, peanuts and eggs, which means "to give birth to a son".

    [4] Xilian

    Xilian is a kind of couplet and a unique form of Chinese literature and art.  Also known as couplets, pairs, couplets.  It generally refers to the couplets that are pasted and hung during festive weddings, called happy couplets.  The couplets hung or pasted on the walls, on the pillars, at the head of the door, and on both sides of the door are a unique literary form that reflects the life taste of the Chinese people.

    Spring Festival couplets are written on red paper; elegiac couplets are written on white paper; happy couplets are written on pink paper.

    On the day of the wedding, as soon as the wedding sedan chair leaves, it will be pasted on the doors and pillars of each room; and the word "‡Ö" will be written countless, and it will be pasted on both sides of the entrance of the big sedan chair.  The "‡Ö" copybook is a road sign to guide the sedan chair and guests to enter the house, and the big sedan chair does not take the same path when going out and entering the door, which indicates that the bride will not turn back.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
