    "White Deer Plain" has a total of more than 500,000 characters and was created by Chen Zhongshi in six years.  The novel takes Bailu Village on the Bailuyuan in the Guanzhong area of ??Shaanxi Province as a microcosm.  centuries of historical change.

    The beginning of the novel is "Bai Jiaxuan later took pride in having married seven women in his life." At first glance, I thought this character was a womanizer!  But with the development of the story, it is not difficult to see that Bai Jiaxuan is a very orthodox person.  Considering that he hated Tian Xiao'e extremely, and the other men in Bailuyuan scolded Tian Xiao'e, but all of them coveted her beauty, Bai Jiaxuan was indeed a gentleman.

    This beginning also indirectly implies the extremely low status of women in a patriarchal society!  If you change it and write "Tian Xiao'e later regarded her as a heroic man who has experienced Guo Juren, Lu Heiwa, Lu Zilin, Bai Xiaowen, etc.", I am afraid that the world even the contemporary people will scold her  Decent to perfection!  This shows very realistically from the side that no matter how the times change, women are still inevitably reduced to enslaved groups such as "chastity archways".

    In fact, many readers dislike Bai Ling and his lover Lu Zhaopeng, and cannot forgive them for letting down their childhood sweetheart Lu Zhaohai and the married lady of the Leng family.  But my favorite characters are actually this pair of lovers!  They are a pair of soulmates who have reached a high degree of agreement in thought, and they have the heart to care about the world and save the nation.  Although their respective endings were unsatisfactory, and their lives were even taken away by their dreams, this kind of persistence and dedication is by no means a spiritual level that ordinary people can achieve.

    She walked out from the gate that had formed a special connection with herself, and went around her own door to Bailu Town Primary School to find Lu Zhaopeng. This was the first time she met him as a revolutionary.  Once again, she couldn't contain her excitement, and told him about the riot in Zishui County, and complained how could Lu Zhaopeng, the leader of the revolution, not participate?  Lu Zhaopeng laughed and acquiesced to her complaints, without explaining to her that he was actually one of the planners and organizers of that struggle.  She talked with him about the similarities and differences between the Three People's Principles and Communism, about the vigorous Northern Expedition and the upsurge of people's revolutions everywhere.  She said, "The revolution is about to win." Lu Zhaopeng also said in an affirmative tone, "No one can stop the Northern Expedition, and victory is just around the corner." This contact left her with the impression that Lu Zhaopeng is  A piece of furniture that has already been formed, and Lu Zhaohai is still a log that has just been felled. The former can be called an admirable big brother in every way

    This is the first time that the original book describes the meeting between Lu Zhaopeng and Bai Ling, and it is obvious that Bai Ling's admiration and yearning for Lu Zhaopeng can be felt from the lines.  They have so much in commonhe is her guiding light on the road of revolution.  Because of this, it is expected that the two of them will come together later, because of the same ideal!

    Therefore, I use a piece of characters written by Mr. Zhu for Bai Ling in the TV series, that is, "The Spirit of White Deer" to evaluate Lu Zhaopeng and Bai Ling's great spirit of devoting themselves to the revolution and dedicating their lives to realizing their ideals.

    The poet Liu Shahe wrote in "Ideal": "Ideal is a stone, knock out a spark of fire; ideal is fire, ignite an extinguished lamp." The love between Lu Zhaopeng and Bai Ling is based on their common ideal.  They are both progressive young people who have received a new culture education, which cannot be compared with Miss Leng who strictly abides by women's morals or even Lu Zhaohai who disagrees with Bai Ling politically.  Spiritual resonance is the red line that urges the two of them to put aside their worldly vision and finally come together, and makes their short reunion a very warm plot in the whole book.

    It's a pity that the ending is a pity. Lu Zhaopeng rode away after liberating Zishui County and disappeared. Bai Ling died on the road of chasing dreams. Even Bai Jiaxuan didn't know that he had really left home after decades of rebellion.  His daughter "cursed" to death.  Bailuyuan, ushering in the liberation, is gradually undergoing various earth-shaking changes. At least there is no longer Tian Xiaoe's wish to enter the ancestral hall to rectify her name, there is no township agreement that restricts the behavior of the tribe, and there is no representative of feudalism.The patriarchal legal system of religion.  And a generation of young people like Lu Zhaopeng who left Bailuyuan finally ushered in the new era they were looking forward to; conservative farmers like Bai Xiaowu continued to work in the fields for a lifetime, and finally fell asleep
