    ??

    "Don't worry, I'm fine."

Glancing at the still noisy crowd outside the door, she seemed to be speaking to herself.

"No matter what happened before, now, I am a police officer first."

After finishing speaking, Meng Yao walked firmly towards the door under Qin Feng's gaze.

The bustling crowd outside the restaurant surrounded the place where the incident occurred, three floors inside and three outside. Meng Yao stood outside for a while and couldn't squeeze in. In the end, he could only take out his ID and shouted loudly: "Get out of the way, I am  police."

After she finished speaking, the crowd slowly made way for her, and as soon as she stepped forward, she saw the entire scene clearly.

In an open space surrounded by people, a woman wearing black overalls was lying on her back, with red and white objects scattered from the back of her head. She was obviously dead, but her eyes were still wide open.

For a moment, some pictures came to mind, making her fair complexion turn a little whiter unconsciously.

At this moment, the mall security guard who was helping to maintain order came over and asked, "Who are you?"

"I've already called the police. Please be honest and don't come up and damage the scene."

Having no intention of wasting time by talking to him, Meng Yao suppressed the panic that kept rising in his heart and handed the ID in his hand to the security guard.

"I am a police officer and a forensic doctor. I hope to see the condition of the deceased first."

After confirming her identity, the security guard remained silent, giving her tacit permission to approach the deceased.

Just before starting, Meng Yao took out a pair of foot gloves from her backpack and put them on her shoes, and then took out a mask and put it on. While putting on the mask, she spoke to the security guard next to her.

¡°Please isolate the crowd further, they are too noisy here.¡±

The security guard followed the instructions and worked with several other colleagues to push the crowd of people watching back, but there were still a few of them who were live broadcasting, and they did not cooperate very much. Instead, they wanted to squeeze in and get closer to the young people who were filming.

Meng Yao, who had just calmed down and wanted to go forward to check on the deceased, heard the other party's yelling, and his face turned completely dark under the mask.

Especially when she looked back and saw the camera in their hands facing the deceased, she felt angry in her heart instantly. Without saying anything, she stepped forward and snatched the phone of the person who resisted the most.

There was nothing said. When everyone was stunned, Meng Yao slammed the other party's phone to the ground. The phone instantly fell into pieces and stopped functioning.

The scene suddenly became quiet, and everyone looked at the scene in front of them in shock. It was the person involved in the mobile phone who reacted first.

He bumped into the two security guards who were blocking him and pointed directly at Meng Yao, looking fierce.

"You must be a crazy woman, why did you throw my phone?"

    Why?

Meng Yao stared at him with her eyes, and then glanced at the people nearby who were still recording on their mobile phones.

The voice was cold, "I don't deserve it, so why do you?"

"When you live broadcast the appearance of the deceased, have you obtained her consent?"

Turning around and looking at the lifeless corpse lying on the ground, Meng Yao glanced around at the crowd of onlookers.

"She is dead. Not only did you not cooperate in protecting the scene, you are still here pointing and talking, laughing and commenting on her."

"It doesn't matter if you have no mercy for the deceased, don't you even have the bottom line as a human being?"

"It's a minor offense to throw your phone. If you don't cooperate with the work, I will arrest you for obstructing official duties and put you in jail."

After saying this coldly, Meng Yao ignored the other party's pale and red complexion and turned back to the deceased.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
