The inside of Ksitigarbha Zen Monastery was deserted.
The monks who originally belonged to the Zen monastery were either dismissed, exiled, or given away by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.
Except for a disciple who stayed at the door, there was no one else in the entire temple.
For him, even though he holds the status of a Bodhisattva in the Western world, he still feels like a guest every day. Especially after Min Gong and Di Ting left, he truly became a loner.
¡° Simply send everyone away and at least give yourself some peace.
Of course, deep down in his heart, he feels that this is also a kind of struggle.
He just wants to let the Buddhas on Mount Sumeru know that I, Ksitigarbha, don¡¯t say it, it doesn¡¯t mean that I don¡¯t know, I don¡¯t argue, I don¡¯t have right and wrong.
I think back then, in Jiuhua Mountain, I was all alone, with a green lantern and a yellow scroll; now, it seems that I have returned to the original time, still alone with a lantern and a yellow spring.
To this day, although I still recite the same sutra, my state of mind is completely different.
In the past, he only believed in the Buddha, but now, he only believes in the Dharma. No, to be precise, he doesn¡¯t know whether the Dharma has the meaning of direct transmission.
Today, he has recited the sutra of this school for the 480th time. When he once again recited, "Sentient beings of this generation are all different from each other and can be saved in separate bodies." For some reason, his hand suddenly slipped. The rosary in his hand fell to the ground.
This Buddhist bead, which has been with me for thousands of years, was originally very powerful, but today when it fell to the ground, the rope broke and the beads scattered, and it was damaged
Ksitigarbha watched the one hundred and eight beads flying away, and couldn't help but smile bitterly in his heart: "If those who recite the sutra have already doubted the profound meaning of the sutra, then what is the use of reciting this sutra."
Shaking his head, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva could only condescend to go down and look for his beads one by one.
It took a long time to count, but only one hundred and five beads were found, and the remaining three beads were missing.
"Sometimes, you have to admire Taoism." Ksitigarbha murmured to himself: "Luo Bu once said that Taoism is about nature. When the opportunity arises, everything around you is a sign. Could it be that this is also a sign?¡±
Looking at the remaining Buddhist beads, he decided to try his luck and look for them, as if he had experienced Taoism for the first time.
The dignified Bodhisattva, like an old farmer, was lying on the ground, searching carefully in every corner.
Not long after, the first Buddhist bead was found.
However, this Buddhist bead fell on the ink spider web. In less than a minute, the black spider had already pulled the bead back into its cave and infected it with spider venom. The originally reddish-brown bead was dyed ink black by the venom.
It¡¯s okay not to want beads like this.
After searching for a while, the second bead was also found.
This Buddhist bead is even more strange. It fell on my sword for no reason. The sword is naturally sharp and can be broken by blowing hair. What's more, there is no bead, so when I found it, it had been divided into two halves. Although the beads are still the same beads, they can no longer be used by themselves, so they are separated forever.
With a heavy sigh of regret, the Bodhisattva continued to look for the last bead.
He searched everywhere, but there was no trace. Just when he was feeling a little tired and about to get up, he unexpectedly saw that the last bead fell into the butter lamp.
The beating flames licked the most ocher-red bead angrily, and when it was discovered, it had already been burned to ashes.
As soon as he saw this bead, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva suddenly felt lost, his eyebrows furrowed, and a feeling of heartache that had not existed for thousands of years suddenly came over him. Even the body of Miaojue Bodhisattva was choked with sobs, as if he had lost his arm and had it gouged out. Blinding pain!
"If you live a hundred years and don't see the law of birth and death, it would be better to live one day and be able to see it." The Bodhisattva looked up and wept, beat his chest and wailed: "I can cross all evil ghosts, but I can cross my own arms and see In the past ten thousand years, the Bodhisattva of Wonderful Enlightenment has failed to face the difficulties of tomorrow. It would be better if he did not practice these useless methods"
He suddenly threw all the remaining 105 beads into the butter lamp and said angrily: "If you don't break it, you can't stand it. Burn it until the end and see how much ashes are left."
Just as Jizang was watching the flames licking the beads, the only disciple quietly came to the door.
"Master, someone is coming from Mount Sumeru!" The disciple saw Ksitigarbha's eyes wide with anger, Buddha's sleeves fluttering, and a unique aroma exuding in the hall. The atmosphere was very wrong, so he tried his best to lower his voice and said: "You"
"Tell him that I am in retreat and chanting sutras. If you want to see me, you won't have time!" Ksitigarbha said coldly: "No matter which Buddha's messenger he is, he will be turned away by me.outside. "
"Bodhisattva, he didn't come in. He said that there was news from Mount Sumeru and he wanted you to see him!" The disciple said: "Thenthen did I refuse, or"
Ksitigarbha frowned, and said with a bitter smile: "See you soon, see you later, I'm biased now. Okay, let me change my clothes, and I'll walk for a while. I want to see, for the first time in history, I'm allowed to see you." What¡¯s the current climate in Mishan?¡±
Without Mr. Min by his side, the Bodhisattva could only change his clothes himself.
He finally chose the attire he wore when he was in Zen Buddhism. This attire was made of ramie gold thread, which embodies the gentleness, solemnity and tranquility of the Eastern world. Lu Guan, holding a tin staff in one hand and a pearl in the other, was dressed as he was when he came to visit the West for the first time.
For a while, he thought about not wearing these clothes, just to keep a low profile and try to ease the conflict with the metal system, so that he also wore the Fanmi monk robe for a long time. But today, he finally figured it out. You have to please everyone, so go to Mount Sumeru just to make Zen Buddhism visible to everyone.
After going out, unexpectedly, the person standing outside was Venerable Anuo.
Ksitigarbha was still grateful to this venerable man, so he both gave him Buddhist rituals.
"Bodhisattva, congratulations, the Buddhas are finally going to see you today!" Anuo whispered: "I wish I could seize this opportunity"
Ksitigarbha did not have the same longing as in the past, and said calmly: "Let's know the fate of everything."
Ah Nuo vaguely remembered that this seemed to be a Taoist saying.
"By the way, are you going to go up Mount Sumeru like this?" Anuo said in surprise.
"What's wrong?" Ksitigarbha asked.
Ah Nuo said at once: "Isn't there a ceremonial guard of monks and Luan? You know, other Bodhisattvas and Arhats can see Mount Sumeru, but only a few solemn ones."
Ksitigarbha said: "I think I'm dignified enough. I asked for permission seven times, knelt down five times, and waited for a whole day three times, but still couldn't be seen. Today, I beat a horse with light shoes, which is dignified enough!" Ksitigarbha said indifferently! : "Your Majesty, please lead the way."
Ah Nuo looked at Ksitigarbha in front of him, and suddenly felt that his temperament had changed a lot.
However, out of curiosity, he still stretched out his hand, summoned his Dharma Cloud, connected to Ksitigarbha, and headed straight for Mount Sumeru
