Jun Qi nodded, and when he opened the curtain, he paused. Yuan An smiled heartily. In the moment of her suspicion, someone in the carriage stretched out his hand to pull her in.

The familiar fragrance made her calm down for a moment and let the man hold her.

The carriage drove slowly towards the Jun's Mansion. Yuan An looked back at the carriage, grinned, flicked his whip, and urged the horse to run faster.

"Sudden attack" Wei Changning hugged Jun Qi contentedly and carefully looked at her expression, "Are you angry with me?"

"Angry." Jun Qi lowered her eyes, her thick eyelashes hiding the emotions in her eyes. Wei Changning tilted his head and couldn't see her emotions clearly. She wanted to let go, but was reluctant. After hesitating, she let go.

As soon as he let go of Jun Qi, Wei Changning moved his hands without knowing where to put them on his knees, clasping his hands together, and whispered: "I know, I can't help you."

Jun Qi looked at her red hands on her knees, which were as white as jade just now. She sighed: "I'm angry because you shouldn't have let the Jinwu Guards trap the Queen Mother. This is a great act of unfilial piety."

When the Queen Mother was mentioned, Wei Changning subconsciously touched his cheek and did not defend himself. He only said: "My fault."

As soon as she spoke softly, Jun Qi couldn't hold back his solemn expression. He held her hands on his knees and whispered: "Why don't you discuss it with me? I knew Gao Yifei was sincere to me and was wary of you.  You shouldn’t kill him in front of the Queen Mother.”

Wei Changning still said nothing, lowered his head, completely admitting his mistake.

The sound of the car's wheels was very loud, reaching Jun Qi's ears, disturbing her calm heart. She opened Wei Changning's palm, and the glistening beads of sweat were particularly dazzling. Only then did she realize that she had changed into a different dress today.

She touched the green earrings on Wei Changning's earlobes and said with a smile: "Are you here to apologize?"

"Yeah." Wei Changning responded softly, cherishing his words like gold.

She said she was here to apologize today, but she didn't say a word to defend herself, which made Jun Qi helpless. This person was too sincere.

As the carriage continued to move forward, it met Jiang Huai at the entrance of the alley. Yuan An was so frightened that he hurriedly grabbed the horse.  It suddenly stopped and the carriage jolted for a while. Wei Changning stretched out his hand to support Jun Qi and whispered: "Is someone coming?"

As soon as I finished speaking, I remembered Jiang Huai’s voice: “Is the Master in the car?”

Wei Changning's face was clouded. He finally left the palace to see his husband, but Jiang Huai still pursued him.  Jun Qi knew that she was guilty, so he touched her head and answered through the car curtain: "What's the matter with Lord Marquis? Why don't you go into the house and tell her in detail."

Hearing that Jiang Huai was asked to enter the palace, Wei Changning's eyes widened, he grabbed her hand and shook his head, saying no.

The carriage moved slowly again, Jun Qi said with a smile: "These are all the troubles you have caused me. I punish you by waiting in the carriage."

Jiang Huai was watching from the door of the house. Wei Changning couldn't get out of the car. He had to wait for others to leave before he could get out. He felt inexplicably sad and lay on Jun Qi's lap, humming twice to show his dissatisfaction.

Jiang Huai was outside the car, and it was difficult for the two of them to talk. Jun Qi lowered his eyes and looked at the person with sadness in his eyes. He touched her forehead and kept his voice to a minimum, "These are all the troubles you brought on yourself."

Wei Changning endured his anger, turned over and sat up, put his arms around Jun Qi's shoulders, and bit her earlobe without hesitation: "I won't go back to the palace tonight, and I won't go back tomorrow."

Jun Qi blushed and her heart beat at what she said. She touched her ear, but was brushed away halfway, and continued to threaten: "I miss you, very much. I am rightly wrong, and so are you."

With this matter going so far, who can be right?

Jun Qi didn’t refute her, she thought for a while, and through the light leaking from the car curtain, she could clearly see her delicate eyebrows, and her long eyelashes trembled slightly with the bumps of the carriage, and she felt sour in her heart, "Yeah."

She responded, leaving Wei Changning confused and looking at her blankly.

The carriage stopped, Jun Qi opened the curtain and arrived at Jun's mansion.  She got out of the car first, leaving Wei Changning alone in the car. After getting off the car, she first invited Jiang Huai into the house, and her eyes signaled Yuan An to lead the carriage into the house.

Yuan An suppressed his laughter and felt a stomachache. Your Majesty is really good at playing.

Jiang Huai came over to ask the Taifu about the result of entering the palace. Unfortunately, the Taifu did not see the emperor, so he turned around and left in dismay.

Jun Qi called him and said: "Although your Majesty is kind, he cannot be bullied. The Marquis is both an uncle and a minister. I don't need to say what went wrong with the Queen Mother's affairs. The matter has reached this point. I can only explain it clearly.  Your Majesty is not the late emperor, so he cannot be ungrateful, and he will not treat the Queen Mother badly. She knows how to weigh this."

These words made Jiang Huai feel so guilty that he didn't know what to say.

    Jiang ???”

Wei Changning raised his head, his eyebrows were crescent, and he smiled sweetly: "Get used to the food in the mansion."

This is the truth. Wei Changning was nostalgic. Jun Qi knew her habits and didn't say much. He just thought about how to send the palace cook into the palace.  When she looked up again, Wei Changning had finished the entire bowl of porridge, but she only moved a spoonful.

Seeing how cheerful she was, Jun Qi pursed her lips and smiled, then lowered her head and drank the porridge from the bowl.

After breakfast, Jun Qi was going to the office and asked where Wei Changning was. Her eyes flickered before she said, "I'm going back to the palace to remove the Jinwu guards from Yong'an Palace."

When it came to important matters, Jun Qi had no doubts. He nodded, stretched out his hand to straighten her collar, and reminded her gently: "Don't be willful, the overall situation is more important."

Wei Changning nodded and urged her: "Sir, go ahead, I know how to act."

She said she knew, but Jun Qi didn't say much. After all, she was no longer the young prince, but now the Tang Dynasty.

After a brief farewell, Jun Qi left in the car. After the carriage disappeared, Wei Changning took Yuan An to ride to the school in the north of the city.

Yuan An was originally sleepy, but when he was blown by the wind while riding on his horse, he woke up. He was still thinking about why His Majesty was carrying the Tutor on his back to see Miss Wang?  He didn't remember how deep the relationship between His Majesty and Miss Wang was. If it wasn't deep, why did he hide it from the Taifu?

He was still afraid of hiding things from the Taifu. After all, his current master was the Taifu and worked for her.

When Yuan An was confused, the horse stopped at the entrance of the school. Wei Changning threw the riding whip to Jin Wuwei who was following behind him, and looked at Yuan An: "Lead the way."

Wang Yu lives within the scope of the school. Not only does she live in a row of houses, but also several other female teachers. They all went to teach students, leaving her alone in the house.

?? In the woman’s residence, Yuan An would easily arouse gossip when entering, so he pointed out which room it was and let the emperor enter by himself.

Wang Yu had not seen Wei Changning for many years. The dark room was lit against the light. When she saw a strange man, she paused, got up and lay down, and only when she got closer did she see the appearance of the inviter.  She recognized Wei Changning's outstanding appearance at a glance and subconsciously glanced behind her, but there was no trace of the Taifu.

    She was slightly disappointed.
