A year of expectation and pursuit came unexpectedly. Zhao Ran couldn't help but burst into tears. His knees weakened and he prostrated himself in front of the Taoist priest. He hugged the Taoist priest's thigh and refused to let go.  His behavior, if viewed in the eyes of a gentleman with integrity, can truly be regarded as having no lower limit to his integrity.  But from another perspective, compared with the "ancients" of this world, as a time traveler, Zhao Ran's yearning and admiration for the gods are many times greater!  What's more, Zhao Ran has suffered for nearly a year since time travel. Now he finally sees hope, and he can't calm down no matter what.

Zhao Ran wanted to fight to the death, but that didn't mean he could do it. He felt a shock all over his body, and his body flew backwards involuntarily. He fell eight feet away before falling to the ground.  Fortunately, the Taoist priest did not deliberately inflict pain on him. Zhao Ran felt as if he had fallen on a pile of cotton and felt no pain at all.

Zhao Ran got up and approached the Taoist priest again. However, although he was excited, he still had some good eyesight. Knowing that he had just lost his composure, he did not do anything too embarrassing and bowed to the Taoist priest with fear.

"A wise man?" the Taoist asked.

Zhao Ran nodded desperately, the people of the Ming Dynasty were protected by Taoists, and the issue of identity must not be mistaken.  He immediately cried and told his story, naturally trying to portray himself as a brave and fearless warrior.  He jealously described his heroic fighting spirit. While he was dancing with joy, the Taoist priest had already understood what he heard. He found that Zhao Ran knew very little about why Xia Bing appeared here, so he frowned and interrupted directly: "Okay.  Come on, stop talking, those Xia soldiers have been killed by me, please leave as soon as possible."

Zhao Ran was unwilling to leave, but he became more and more respectful: "Thank you so much, Master Immortal, for saving your life! Zhao Ran is willing to work as a cow or a horse to repay your kindness!"

The Taoist priest waved his hand to stop: "It doesn't have to be like this."

Zhao Ran firmly disagreed, saying that he must be the ox and horse of the immortal, and he is only willing to follow the immortal and serve him before and after, otherwise he will feel guilty and lose the meaning of living.

The Taoist priest may not like cows and horses, or he may feel that Zhao Ran lacks the qualifications to be his cow and horse. In short, he refuses. After saying a few words, seeing that Zhao Ran is still pestering, he is too lazy to say anything more and turns around to ask for it.  Walk.

Zhao Ran was in a hurry and hurriedly said: "Sir, please save me one more time! I am a foreigner. I am not familiar with the place where I live. I don't know where to go in the wilderness."

This Taoist priest was traveling in western Sichuan, but he didn¡¯t know why the Baima Mountain Guard Station on the border was destroyed by the Xia soldiers. A large area of ??land including the Chuanling Copper Mine was lost, and even the Baima Mountain Formation was ineffective.  The failure of the White Horse Mountain Formation is what he is most worried about. If the Buddhist disciples really find the trick to break the formation, then every part of the border will face huge crises.

Therefore, the Taoist priest rushed back and reported the matter to the Taoist sect.  Although he was a little tired of Zhao Ran's entanglement, Zhao Ran was right. This place was in the wilderness, and there was a war and danger. If Zhao Ran was left alone and ignored, Zhao Ran would probably die here.  So the Taoist priest picked up Zhao Ran, put one hand on his shoulder, and walked quickly towards the east.

Zhao Ran was held by the Taoist priest on his waist and ran around. He felt the trees and rocks on both sides retreating rapidly. He couldn't help but praise: "The immortal is very capable, and the speed is at least eighty miles per hour!"

The Taoist priest asked curiously: "What speed?"

Zhao Ran was at a loss for words. When he saw the Taoist taking the bait, he immediately gushed: "You can walk eighty miles in one hour, ah, no, I made a mistake. The immortal can walk very fast and can walk one hundred and sixty miles in one hour."  The earth is ten times faster than ordinary people!"

The Taoist priest was stunned for a moment and scolded: "Nonsense!"

Zhao Ran didn't feel dissatisfied, but was very happy that the Taoist priest could answer his words, so he added: "Did the immortal's feet have shock absorbers? How come they are so stable!"

The Taoist priest was stunned again: "What kind of shock absorber?"

Zhao Ran quickly explained: "Have you ever seen someone inflate a cowhide bag? After the leather bag is inflated, you will feel comfortable and pleasant when you sit on it Why? Because the sky is not really empty. Although we  It is invisible to the naked eye, but there is energy everywhere Just like if you hit an inflated leather bag hard, the leather bag will explode"

The Taoist priest stopped suddenly, put Zhao Ran down, and looked over with eyes: "Have you ever learned the Quanzhen Dharma?"

Zhao Ran was stunned: "Quan Zhen? Is there really Wang Chongyang?"

Seeing Zhao Ran's blank look, the Taoist priest secretly adjusted his breath and checked Zhao Ran's meridians, but found that they were all stagnant and had many impurities.  Deliberately showing off, worried that trouble will come from his mouth!"

After saying that, the Taoist priest mentioned Zhao Ran and continued to move forward.

Zhao Ran was despised by the Taoist priest. Even though he was thick-skinned, he couldn't help but feel a fever on his face.  I was secretly thinking, how can I get an opportunity from this Taoist priest?

The Taoist priest walked for a while, then suddenly left the mountain path and jumped directly down the valley.  When you encounter a deep ditch, you walk straight across it. When you encounter a low-lying place, you float on the treetops, feeling extremely light.

"Has Zhao Ran ever seen this before?"  So there was another admiration.  This caused the Taoist priest to curse "Noisy!"

Zhao Ran¡¯s thirst for knowledge arose and he couldn¡¯t help but ask: ¡°The Immortal just said that there is a Quanzhen Dharma? But I don¡¯t know what sect the Immortal is practicing?¡±

    "Upright!"

¡°I don¡¯t know the Zhengyi sect or the Quanzhen sect? Which one is more powerful?Haha, just kidding, of course I know that the Zhengyi sect is powerful"

"Nonsense! The school is just a method of self-cultivation. How can it be said to be powerful? You can achieve the Tao by refining the spirit with energy, you can also gain the Tao by communicating with the heavens, the inner elixir can ascend, and the talisman can also ascend. Cultivation is all based on your own efforts. There is no way to achieve enlightenment.  There is a distinction between superior and inferior skills!Don't call me a poor Taoist again, because I am a poor Taoist and I can't afford it."

"So that's how it is, but you don't know the immortal's surname? Today, you can get the immortal's guidance. You are really lucky!"

"Idiot Chu Yangcheng, please stop talking nonsense. Just stay here for a while."

"It turns out to be the Immortal Chief Chu. The Immortal Chief is famous like thunder. It's a pity that Zhao Ran didn't have the chance to serve the Immortal Chief. It's a pity in his life" Zhao Ran said while looking at Chu Yangcheng furtively, and kept probing in his mouth.

Chu Yangcheng ignored him, so Zhao Ran continued to test: "Immortal leader, I wonder if this boy is good enough to have a destiny in the future?"

Chu Yangcheng shook his head: "You are very weak, so let's stop thinking about it as soon as possible. Don't talk anymore, it will make people uneasy!"

"Immortal" He wanted to say a few more words, but Zhao Ran found that his whole body was shaken, and he couldn't move at all. He couldn't even move his tongue, let alone speak.

Zhao Ran was anxious, seeing that a good opportunity was right in front of him, but this bull nose was determined and refused to let go. It was really helpless.  Now that he is forbidden to speak and unable to speak, this Taoist priest will definitely throw himself down and leave after leaving the mountain. Will he miss the immortal fate in vain?  After much deliberation, there was nothing he could do, so Zhao Ran had to give up temporarily.

At night, Chu Yangcheng resisted Zhao Ran and came to a valley, found a remote cave, and put Zhao Ran down.  As soon as Zhao Ran landed, he felt numb all over his body, and he could move and speak freely again.

Chu Yangcheng asked Zhao Ran to wait in the cave for a while, and soon he came back with a pheasant in his hand and threw it at Zhao Ran's feet: "Just cook it yourself to fill your stomach. We have to go on the road tomorrow!" After saying this,  Ignoring Zhao Ran, he headed deeper into the cave.

Zhao Ran had already discarded the package when he fled the battlefield, so he said: "Immortal, there is no fire"

Before the words stopped, a dead branch beside the cave burst into flames, but Chu Yangcheng had already disappeared into the darkness.

Zhao Ran quickly made a bonfire with the flames, stripped the pheasants, grilled them on the bonfire, and connected a few leaves of mountain spring on the rock wall to quench his thirst.  After the pheasant was roasted, Zhao Ran tore off the chicken legs and wings, rolled them with leaves, and walked deeper into the cave holding a torch.  Chu Yangcheng was seen sitting on a protruding rock between the cave walls, making a magic formula with both hands, and his eyes seemed to be closed.

Zhao Ran didn¡¯t dare to say hello casually. If someone didn¡¯t want to disturb him while he was practicing, and he said, ¡°The Immortal is here to eat,¡± and something went wrong, that would be very bad.  So he put the food under the protruding stone and stepped back gently.
