Lin Rui estimated that the enemy troops would arrive within one to two hours at their normal marching speed.

But in fact, the forward troops of the Jihad Alliance arrived only an hour later.

¡°Boss, if I can¡¯t survive this battle, will my money go to my family?¡± A mercenary asked Lin Rui with a smile.

"It's best if you get the money back alive, but if you fail, the reward will not be less." Lin Rui smiled.  "Besides, brothers, there have been many storms and heavy rains. I don't believe these terrorists can keep us here."

"I'm not as coward as that guy. I will definitely complete this mission and come back alive." Another mercenary laughed and said, "I will use this money to find a woman and have fun with her for three days and three nights."

"Bragging, you can't even last a day." The mercenaries laughed together.  "Be brave!" The mercenaries all shouted, waving their fists.

Lin Rui saw this group of shouting mercenaries, but his eyes looked into the distance.  It was another battle with an unknown fate, and he and these people would walk through a hail of bullets again, with no rescue, no reinforcements, and even no way out.

Now the alliance's terrorists launch a tentative charge.  Several armored vehicles and armed trucks covered a small group of infantry who rushed forward.

A rocket accurately hit the front of one of the armed trucks, and the terrorists in the cab were blown to pieces.  The entire front of the car was blown to pieces.

The truck was overturned by the blast and rolled on the ground.  The terrorist infantry that followed fell everywhere.

The surviving ones struggled, ran forward with their guns in hand, and looked for cover from several other armored vehicles.

And another rocket hit the middle of the armored car and the truck.  The air wave of the explosion knocked over another large area.

The remaining vehicles accelerated their advance, setting off billowing yellow sand on the desert, and the smoke and dust drifted into a large cloud in the wind.

Several mortars landed in front and behind the convoy but also overturned many terrorists.  There were also several armed trucks that had their tires blown out and struggled to move forward.

Lin Rui ordered shooting, and multiple heavy machine guns on the ambush position roared at the same time.  The muzzles of more than a hundred guns on the position were spraying flames at the same time.

One of the terrorists' armored vehicles was destroyed by another rocket, but not before it exploded.  A shot was fired, blowing up a light machine gun on the position.  Then came the huge fireball. The armored vehicle was completely motionless in the fireball.

¡°They are coming, kill them!¡± the mercenaries roared.  One mercenary threw three or four grenades at once, causing quite a stir.

The other brothers on the other side were not idle either, throwing out various machine guns, rifle grenades, and grenades.

"Kill that officer." Lin Rui observed with a telescope and ordered.

"One of these terrorists was sticking his head out of the armored vehicle. The other infantrymen who shouted loudly rushed forward. He should be a small leader.

The team members fired a row of bullets at them. The bullets hit the armored vehicle and sparks flew out.  But he didn't hit the little boss.

This little boss is also a man who is not afraid of death. Facing the oncoming hail of bullets, he does not even hide. He controls the machine gun on the top of the armored vehicle to fire back.

An armed truck on Lin Rui's side was turned into a hornet's nest. The machine gunner of the truck-mounted machine gun was shot dead, and blood splattered everywhere.

"Kill that armored vehicle, there's a commander inside." Lin Rui ordered directly.

"I'll do it!" Kuai Ma rushed over from one side, carrying a rocket launcher in his hand.

But he was shot before he could take a few steps. The bullet only scratched one side of his scalp. Although it was not fatal, his face was covered in blood.

"Cover him." Lin Rui shouted loudly, while holding his weapon and shooting forward, several other mercenaries also opened fire at the same time.  Several terrorists who were firing were killed on the spot.

Quick horse turned over and sat up, with a cut on his head. He rolled over in pain and threw himself to the bunker next to him.

After taking a breath, Kuai Ma picked up the rocket launcher again. He quickly poked his head out, took aim and pulled the trigger.  This time it was an accurate hit.

The armored vehicle was hit sideways by an anti-tank rocket, and the roar of the explosion filled both ears.  The armored vehicle was reduced to scrap metal, engulfed in flames and black smoke.

The terrorists¡¯ exploratory attack was destroyed, several vehicles were destroyed, some of the terrorists who participated in the attack died on the ground, and others withdrew, but this was just the beginning.

"Closely monitor the enemy's movements and report any news in a timely manner." Lin Rui put down the phone.

The horse came back quickly, with a bandage on its head and looking a little embarrassed.

"How is it?" Lin Rui asked.

"Damn bastard, you ruined my hairstyle. I'll probably be bald from this part of my head from now on." Kuai Ma shook his head.

¡°It¡¯s not a big deal, you can go get a hair transplant.¡± Sergey patted him on the shoulder.  "That's what bald rich people do."

"Get out!" Kuai Ma said angrily.

¡°Don¡¯t talk useless nonsense, go and see what problems there are in each position? Solve any problems in time.

I want you to come here to help me, not to quarrel here.  "Lin Rui shook his head.

"Listen to your boss, but this time we fought smoothly. Most of the heavy firepower points were not exposed. Except for an armed truck that was destroyed by the opponent, there were no major losses to other personnel.

Except for the fast horse, this guy just has bad luck.  "The sausage came over.

"This is best, but we still have to pay attention. In addition, our ammunition reserves are not very good. If it lasts for a long time, there may be problems. Let each unit pay attention to checking the ammunition stocks to avoid large consumption.

When the battle reaches the mid-to-late stage, we may need to allocate ammunition reasonably according to the specific situation.  "Lin Rui nodded.

The Jihad Alliance's attack soon began again.  This time they planned to use artillery fire to cover the charge. The continuous artillery fire made the position full of smoke and dust.

The weather in the desert was swelteringly hot, and sweat, dirt, dust, and sand filled his neck and stuck his soaked military uniform to his body.

A mercenary stuck his head out, but was kicked by another mercenary next to him.  "Don't want to live anymore? Find cover and wait for orders."

With the simple fortifications built before, they can still sustain it for a long time.  After all, the terrorists only have some mortars and a small number of rocket launchers, and lack real heavy artillery.

To be on the safe side, Lin Rui still gave the order.  All the few mortars and 107 rocket launchers were withdrawn into the bunker.

If you want to continue to block the enemy, without these, it is empty talk.

Amidst the gunfire, Sergey whistled.  An unknown Russian folk song, and I don¡¯t know if he played it out of tune.

Lin Rui suddenly felt a little disgusted with these Russians, the damn fighting nation.  Always showing off their courage at all times, regardless of life or death.
