Chapter 3465 Non-lethal action

    After receiving the news, Lin Rui and the others were not in a hurry to act.  Instead, it took two more days of reconnaissance and testing.

    The first step was to determine the route. They conducted at least two surveys on the infiltration route provided by Harris.

    Because in order to avoid alerting the enemy, formal in-depth investigation was not possible, so they used micro-drone.

    This kind of drone can reach a detection range of several kilometers, and its built-in infrared camera can complete most of the detection work at night.  This allows them to observe all situations through drone video without having to complete the infiltration and reconnaissance themselves.

    After the last mission for the CIA, Lin Rui was very satisfied with the tactical effect of this micro-drone.  So Sausage got a few similar miniature reconnaissance drones through black market channels.

    After two surveys of the base terrain and the location of the sentry post, it was basically determined that the route provided by Harris was a suitable route.

    After Lin Rui and others determined the action plan, they immediately started taking action.

    The action time is after three o'clock at night. This time period is when people are most tired.  According to previous observations by Lin Rui and others, this is also the time when the defense of the French base is at its weakest.

    ¡°There are two sentries ahead and a warning point high up.¡± Sergey said carefully.  "They are all double sentries. Except for the high security point, which is a bit troublesome, we can pass through the other two sentries under the cover of the shelter."

    Lin Rui held up the telescope and observed for a while, and found that what Sergey said was correct. There were many items stacked nearby. They should be some military supplies that did not have high requirements, so they were stacked in the open.  This resulted in them having ample cover as they passed, and it was not very difficult to avoid the two fixed sentries.

    But the high-altitude warning point was indeed a problem. Lin Rui saw two French soldiers patrolling on one side of the rooftop through the telescope.  Their line of sight is enough to cover a large area around them.

    If Lin Rui and others want to pass, it is really difficult to avoid their sight.

    A French sentry on the rooftop platform seemed to be aware of this sound, and followed the sound with a weapon. When he reached the stairs, he suddenly stepped out and pointed his weapon at the corridor, but found that there was no one on the stairs.

    The French soldier seemed a little surprised and walked slowly down the stairs, wanting to check it in detail again.  But when he walked down a few steps, a figure suddenly turned over and jumped up on one side.

    Just behind the French soldiers, Lin Rui, who had just noticed the danger, quietly turned over and hung on the other side of the escalator. He waited until the French soldiers walked in front of him before turning over.

    " Taking advantage of the moment when the French army fainted and landed on the ground, Lin Rui hooked his foot and pulled him towards his direction.  Then the French army's body pressed heavily on him to prevent him from making a louder falling sound.

    After doing all this, Lin Rui breathed a sigh of relief, continued to lean down, and slowly walked onto the rooftop.  The other soldier above was in charge of the other side of the rooftop, so he hadn't noticed that his companion had been in trouble yet, and was still patrolling along the edge of the rooftop casually.

    Lin Rui sneaked within five meters of the opponent and slowly took out the Taser.  He aimed at the soldier and pulled the trigger, and "poof" two darts flew out with thin insulated wires.

    The French soldier was instantly shocked, his whole body trembled violently, and he fell down with his head tilted.  Lin Rui stepped forward and dragged the French soldier away from the edge of the rooftop, and tried his breathing.

    This soldier should not have died, but after being electrocuted, he showed symptoms of electroshock for a short time and completely lost his ability to move.  It probably won't take half an hour to recover.

    Lin Rui breathed a sigh of relief. This Taser is quite easy to use. No wonder law enforcement agencies in many countries are now equipped with this non-lethal weapon.  Even some airlines are recommending equipping their planes with such weapons in case of hijackings.

    He put away the Taser, stood up straight again, and observed his surroundings.  Then he pressed the wireless communicator behind his ear and said, "Russians, the rooftop security post has been cleared. How are you doing there?"

    "We have bypassed two fixed sentry posts. After your place is cleared, we can directly enter the French warehouse area from that branch road." Sergey responded.
