Chapter 2575 Rock Beach

Previous page        Return to Catalog        Next page

Since entering this rocky beach, Lin Rui's nerves have been in a state of high tension. Almost as soon as he felt bad, he immediately fell forward and fell down.  Then he made a judgment based on the sound of gunfire, "Two o'clock, two people! Automatic weapons. Eleven o'clock, one person, sniper!"

Before he could finish his words, a row of bullets hit the top of the stone where he was hiding. The bullets bounced off the hard stone and splashed stone chips fell all over Lin Rui's head.

"We are under fire suppression right ahead. Cover me!" Lin Rui pressed the communication headset and said in a deep voice.

"Understood!" Crazy Horse threw two smoke bombs, and a large amount of thick smoke obscured Lin Rui's hiding place.  Then Lin Rui took advantage of the smoke to rush to the other side, leaned next to Crazy Horse and whispered, "Have you seen their position clearly?"

"They are moving!" Sergey rushed up and whispered while shooting, "They continue to move inside."

"Behind the rocky beach is a river valley tidal flat. This is the dry season, so it should be the landing point for their helicopter support." Jiang An said in a deep voice.  "They are trying to lead us to the landing point, which means their helicopter support is very close and may arrive at any time."

"Then don't let them get close to there!" Lin Rui shouted in a deep voice, "Catch up and eliminate them on the way!"

"Understood!" Yelena's voice responded.  With the sound of gunshots, a Crimson Tide player who was running among the rocks suddenly fell to the ground, with blood splattering everywhere on his neck and face.  This is the sniper of the Crimson Tide team. After he fired the first shot, Yelena locked his position.  But she never had a good chance to make a move. It was not until the members of the Crimson Tide team began to retreat collectively that her sniper rifle, which had been silent for a long time, finally opened fire.

On the battlefield, once the opponent's sniper locks the position, it is fatal in itself.  So a smart sniper will always move his position and keep himself on the edge of the team.  It¡¯s not that the members of the Crimson Tide don¡¯t understand this principle, but their numbers are too small now, and they are more likely to be defeated if they fight in a scattered manner.  That's why several team members were asked to form a defense and risk a counterattack.

In this exchange of fire, although the Crimson Tide team was killed by a sniper, Lin Rui suffered several mercenary casualties.  But even so, Lin Rui knew that he must not stop pursuing. Once the remaining Crimson Tide members and the secret society's support helicopter merged, an even greater dilemma would await them.  The remnants of these Red Tide squads must be eliminated before the helicopter arrives.

Seeing the mercenaries of O2 getting closer and closer, Kudo Masaoka became anxious.  He gritted his teeth, waved his hand to the other team members to stop advancing, and found cover on the spot to organize another blockade, hoping to delay the opponent's pursuit.  But this time, the O2 team was well prepared. As soon as they saw the people in front of them stopped, they all immediately took cover. Lin Rui and others also relied on the cover of huge rocks everywhere at the bottom of the valley to fight against the opponent.

In a fierce exchange of fire, two members of the Crimson Tide team were killed again. As a result, the situation took a turn for the worse.  Masaoka Kudo couldn't save the situation. He gritted his teeth, picked up the light machine gun of the fallen team member beside him, mounted it on a boulder and fired suppressively at Lin Rui and others.

"Kudo, you have no way to escape." Lin Rui lowered his head to avoid the hail of bullets while taunting, "Aren't you Crimson Tide an elite force known as the secret society? Why do you only pick some transport convoys of logistics units to attack? Once they arrive,  Why are you so sluggish when you get down to business? Come on, come out."

"Damn mercenaries! You have no way to escape. Our reinforcements will be here soon. Maybe it will only take a few minutes. If you wait a few more minutes, you will die. I will hang you all alive! Like!  Those African natives treat their prey, letting you dry slowly in the sun!" Kudo Masaoka roared arrogantly.

"Maybe, but I don't think you can survive these few minutes at all. You escaped in such a hurry, and how many bullets does the light machine gun in your hand have? Sixty rounds? Or more, do you think you can survive these few minutes?  Minutes?" Lin Rui suddenly stuck his head out and fired a burst of fire at the position where Kudo Masaoka was speaking.

Kudo Masaoka rolled over quickly, and then swept over with a row of bullets from his machine gun.  But before he could squat down again, Lin Rui showed his head on the other side of the boulder and fired an extremely insidious shot.  In this shot, Lin Rui stretched out his head too quickly and fired too hastily.  It didn't hit Kudo Masaoka, but it scared him into a cold sweat. The bullet almost flew past his shoulder.

Kudo Masaoka quickly squatted down, holding the light machine gun in his hand, leaning against a stone, not daring to show his head easily again.  The remaining Crimson Tide members were also suppressed in a very narrow area by the firepower of the O2 team, and were unable to come to respond to him.  It was Conan who threw several grenades in a row that made Kudo Masaoka retreat to his side.

"How is the situation?" Kudo Masaoka shouted.

"There are only four of us left!" Conan replied loudly, "This won't work. We will be wiped out before the helicopter arrives."

"No, that's not what I'm asking. I'm asking when the support troops will arrive!" Kudo Masaoka shouted, "We must not leave. If the support troops arrive here without discovering us, they will think that we have been eliminated. They  It will return, and the plan to blockade the enemy will be interrupted."

"But if this continues, even if the support troops arrive, all they will find are our bodies!" Conan said loudly.  "We have to step back for now."

Kudo Masaoka grabbed him and shouted, "Don't forget, you are also a member of the Crimson Tide. The Crimson Tide troops have no habit of escaping."

Conan stamped his foot and said, "I'm not saying escape, I'm just saying let's leave here temporarily. After the volunteer troops arrive, we can still contact them through communications and ask them to come to us. Follow-up missions can still go on. We don't have to  Fight these mercenaries here! They are gangs of desperadoes, but we have to continue our mission."

"But now we can't get rid of them!" Kudo Masaoka gritted his teeth. "There are several tracking masters among them. We have tried to get rid of them more than once, but they still caught up. Do you think that at such a distance?  Come on, is there any chance we can escape?"

"Then you have to give it a try!" Conan pulled Kudo Masaoka and whispered, "The valley over there has a big height difference, so the water flow is very fast. I've seen that there should be a cliff in front of the terrain, it's only twenty meters.  There is a small lake below. Let the remaining two brothers attract the enemy. We will withdraw from there first, and we will contact reinforcements later."

Kudo Masaoka thought for a while, and finally stamped his feet and said, "Let's go!"
