    The "Wasp" he is talking about is Russia's second-generation field air defense missile system. It is better known as the Sam-8 in the United States and is nicknamed "Gecko" by NATO.

    It is a composite-guided, all-weather, short-range, low-altitude missile system. The entire system consists of a three-axle wheeled launch vehicle, twin launchers and an integrated guidance radar.  It can travel on various terrains and has strong wading capabilities.  Its integrated guidance radar has multiple uses such as search, tracking, guidance and identification.  When the integrated guidance radar is subject to electronic interference, the optical system and second command transmitting antenna installed on the top can be used to track the target and guide the missile, which has better anti-electronic interference capabilities.
