Chapter 2246 Plan Variables

    Montenegro takes its name from the Lovcen Mountain, which is its historical center.  It was the center of centuries of struggle with Tš¹rkiye.  It is a small, mountainous country located in the southwest of the Balkan Peninsula and on the east coast of the Adriatic Sea.  Except in the peak tourist season, there is not much passenger flow in the mountainous areas of central and northern China.  On an old road, Lin Rui and others were sitting in a large van.

    "We are almost there. You have ten minutes to prepare." The driver whispered through the intercom.

    "Right here?" Lin Rui frowned.

    ¡°My mission is to bring you here, other people will be responsible for other things.¡± The driver replied in a low voice.  A few minutes later, the truck drove onto a side road.

    The car was opened, and Lin Rui jumped out of the car, "Jiang'an contact Cobain to clarify our current location, and others will be alert to the surrounding area."

    "There is nothing to be wary of. No one will come here." The truck driver whispered, "Within half an hour, someone will deliver the supplies you need here. The next thing will be like us."  It doesn't matter." The driver who sent them here didn't stay much and drove away immediately after Lin Rui and others got off the car.

    "We are currently located in the central mountainous area, about 20 kilometers away from the target location." Jiang An looked at the satellite positioning and whispered, "Cobain is sending us a detailed satellite map."

    Lin Rui nodded, "Sergey, how is the situation around here?"

Lin Rui immediately made a gesture to let the team members hide around.  In the blink of an eye, a car drove over from a distance, like a medium-sized off-road vehicle.  Lin Rui was relieved when he saw a special mark on the car.  This mark is also the agreed-upon secret code. This is the vehicle that transports equipment to them.  He hadn't realized he'd been holding his breath, and then he breathed a sigh of relief.  "Okay, they arrived just in time. Don't rush out yet, I'll meet them when I go out."

    "Received." Yelena whispered.

    The engine of the off-road vehicle did not turn off, as if it was deliberately reminding them that a vehicle had arrived. Lin Rui's eardrums were made extremely uncomfortable by the noise.  He walked over and said, "Come closer," he said, "and get out of the car. Don't do anything outrageous.     The driver from the car wore a racing helmet on his head and lowered the window.  "I'm a delivery person, and I can do whatever you ask. But you have to know that this meeting location is too close to the NATO base, so it's not the safest. It's not wise for you to waste your time like this."

    "There is no one else. I am the delivery person, code: kl06452." The man unbuckled his seat belt, pushed open the door and looked at the car door.  He walked to the back of the car, leaned over and opened the trunk.  Inside are military green metal boxes, "Everything you want is here."

    Lin Rui just hesitated for a moment, and then he suddenly had an idea - he grabbed the man's clothes and pushed him against the car. Then Lin Rui took the man's pistol with lightning speed and raised it to aim.  The person's forehead.  "Take off your helmet and let me see your face clearly." Lin Rui said.

    The man chuckled and said, "It seems that you have guessed who I am. I have known for a long time that even if you wear this broken helmet, you will guess who I am. You are a very careful person." He took off his clothes.  He took off the racing helmet on his head and smiled, revealing a row of white teeth.  It was the man who gave them this mission before, the double agent, Frank.

    "Is it really you? What's going on? You never said before that you would personally participate in this matter." Lin Rui did not put down the weapon in his hand.

    "The situation has changed. My important informant here suddenly disappeared, and I had to come and take care of everything myself." Frank raised his hand and said, "You know this kind of thing, the fewer people who know, the safer. I can't do it in a short time.  I found someone I could trust, so I decided to do it myself. Can I let go now?"

    Lin Rui looked at Frank and held him firmly with one hand.     "We are not willing to take our employers into action." Crazy Horse interrupted, "Because most employers will give us advice when we act, and there are also some employers whose motives are not very pure. Especially for such highly confidential tasks."

    Frank shrugged.  He rummaged around in his pocket for a while, found a cigarette butt, and held it in the corner of his mouth.  "Okay, I understand your caution. Then check it out quickly. After the inspection is completed, I will take you to a place. We can't stay here forever."

    "Actuary," Lin Rui turned around and asked, "Are there any questions in the car?"

    "Okay." Lin Rui clicked the safety of the pistol, turned the pistol over and handed it back to Frank, but he was in no hurry to let go.  "But don't think it's okay. Once it is proven that you have other purposes, I will make you pay the price. This mission is no small matter, and I can't risk putting my men in danger."

    "I listen to you, Mr. Rick, and I promise to tell you all the problems. But now" Frank whispered, "Let's get out of here first."
