Chapter 2196 Farm Night

Previous page        Return to Catalog        Next page

In the farm, Forman, the captain of the Lucifer team, walked over and knocked on the door of the villa.  The person who answered the door was a woman, fair and tall, with black hair that is rare among white people.  This woman has an amazingly good figure and good looks.  But Forman still couldn't hide his contempt for her. He knew that this woman was just the plaything of the Shadow Broker, who found her in the red light district of Amsterdam last week.

Forman even suspected that the Shadow Broker wanted this woman just to reduce direct contact with him and others, and to let her act as a messenger.

This beautiful woman leaned against the door and gave Foreman a very provocative look, "Mr. Foreman, do you have something wrong, or are you here to see me?"

Forman had no intention of talking nonsense to her, so he just pushed her aside.  "Sir, you have to come out to me, we are in big trouble."

"Forman, it's not good for you to treat a lady like this. Besides, Ruby is such a touching lady." The Shadow Broker stood up from his computer desk.  "What's going on?" His voice was still coming from the voice changer under the mask.

"Someone is planning to do you harm. I don't know how the news leaked, but this farm is no longer safe. Sir, you'd better be prepared. If the situation goes bad, we will have to leave everything behind."  Things left behind. My mission is only to protect you, and I will not care about your little girl and the messy computer equipment you have here." Foreman looked at the shadow broker and said.

"I understand." The Shadow Broker was silent for a while, then whispered with a smile.  "But I still hope that you'd better respect my wishes. After all, I'm paying you for this mission. Moreover, I really need Miss Ruby's services. She knows how to make men feel happy and not so boring."  No matter where I go, I take her with me.¡±

This damn bastard, he is still thinking about women when he is about to die.  Forman suppressed the discomfort in his heart, waved his hand and said, "It's up to you, but no one will take care of her then." After that, he turned around and walked out.

After walking out of the villa, Foreman whispered to several team members standing outside, "Cheer up, keep an eye on this place, and never leave."

"Yes, Captain." The members of Lucifer's team nodded.  They are all very experienced mercenaries, not only loyal and reliable, but also calm and composed.  Forman was still not at ease, so he called several other team members over and gave them instructions before returning to the next room.

As the captain of the Lucifer Team, Forman has only one belief in his mind, which is to make a name for himself in an established mercenary company like Morning Star.  He should belong on the battlefield, a more intense place, a place where his value can be better reflected.  The current dilemma of protection mission made him dissatisfied.

Although Foreman was delighted to be newly promoted to the captain of the Lucifer Squad and establish a mercenary team under his leadership, on the other hand, he increasingly wanted to make a difference. This task and the difficult employer,  He was beginning to lose what little patience he had left.  On the other hand, Foreman also understood that as long as this mission failed, the company's board of directors would definitely punish him severely, and he would probably lose trust as a result.  This is the path they have chosen. Once they lose the trust of Joe and the company, the company will not hesitate to hunt and destroy him together.

The Gibbs brothers on the side observed Foreman secretly exchanging glances.  Forman knew very well that although these two guys were sometimes not very smart, they were indeed the best fighters in the entire team.  The coming battle touched the deepest desire in their hearts, and Forman could almost smell their excitement and restlessness from the smell emanating from their bodies.

"No matter what, the first consideration for this mission is to protect the target." Forman added.

His eloquent advice spoke to the hearts of both Gibbs brothers.

"Captain, do you think someone will really come to carry out a sneak attack this time? I mean, does anyone really want to kill that guy wearing a mask without knowing what he is called?" The eldest of the Gibbs brothers asked doubtfully  road.

The younger brother Gibbs beside him patted his elder brother on the shoulder.  "It doesn't matter who comes, if they choose to have their own way, then I'll be here to keep everyone safe, brother."

Forman nodded solemnly, a faint smile of pride appeared on his face.

The news of a possible attack at night has put the entire farm in an inexplicable atmosphere of tension.  The first ray of moonlight at night has not yet arrived, and this night is darker than imagined.  Forman has ordered the opening of?All lighting fixtures.  Even a row of large night lights were lifted out of the warehouse, illuminating the entire farm as bright as day.

The attack happened as expected, everything happened in this flash of lightning.

Hearing the sudden sound of gunshots and sirens, the Gibbs brothers and the mercenaries immediately roared crazily.  "Enemy attack!" A mercenary of Lucifer Team was hit in the chest by a bullet, and bright red blood spattered on his combat uniform.

    "Sniper!"

The remaining members of the Lucifer team quickly dispersed, each looking for favorable terrain for cover.  Just when they were hiding behind a boulder, another mercenary was hit by a bullet and fell to the ground dead.

A nervous mercenary rushed to the house where other people were hiding. He held his breath and carefully poked his head out to see where the sniper was hiding. But as soon as the unlucky guy showed his head, a bullet hit him.  Hitting his shoulder, the mercenary fell heavily, still cursing in his mouth, "What the hell."

In just a few minutes, two mercenaries were killed by fire from outside the farm. Forman was truly surprised this time. He could even vaguely hear the moving footsteps of the attackers hiding in the dark.

Damn it, the other party is a master.  Forman pushed the dead mercenary aside. If they still stayed here, they would be wiped out in a few minutes.  "There are only a few attackers on the flank!" Foreman shouted. "They are forcing us to move towards the flank, but our only choice is to rush up. Although their marksmanship is good, they are not familiar with the terrain, and we  Having the upper hand in numbers is the only hope to reduce casualties!¡±

He heard the Spanish mercenary dog ??respond loudly on the other side of the farm, "The captain is right, everyone counts down to three seconds!"
