Chapter 2179 Desperate Turn 2

Lin Rui walked down the metal stairs, and there was indeed a cave underneath. There was a long passage deeper under the wine cellar.  The passage was twisting and winding, and when the top entrance was opened, all the lights in the passage below came on.

"It is indeed an escape passage. The reason why Alekferovich desperately wanted to escape to the East District was probably because of the existence of this passage." Lin Rui thought secretly.  "It's a pity that God is not as good as man. He was attacked by us on the way, trapped in the study on the fourth floor, and died there. But I didn't expect that this hidden passage under the wine cellar would become my escape route."

Without any time to think, he quickly rushed into the passage.  Although this passage is hidden, there is no guarantee that White Gloves will not learn the news over time.  He must speed up and escape from here before these secret society armed forces can react.

The underground passages were very long, and some of them began to extend downward. After walking for a while, Lin Rui felt the faint sound of water in front of him.  This convinced him that this passage led to the sea.  If this was the case, maybe he was already outside the manor now, and he walked quickly forward.

At one point in front, the passage suddenly became much wider, and the surrounding lights illuminated the place very brightly.  This place is like a cave, half of the cave has been submerged by sea water. An iron gate painted in the color of rock blocks the sea water outside, and several small yachts are moored there.  They are all extremely fast models, and they are fully fueled and fully charged.  It is simply ready for escape at any time.  The whole place is a bit like a semi-enclosed submarine dock.

Lin Rui breathed a sigh of relief, but he hesitated after taking a few steps.

According to Alex Ferovich¡¯s character, there won¡¯t be too many people here.  Even if he wanted to escape, he would probably only take a few of his cronies with him.  In this case, is it a bit redundant to prepare three yachts?  Lin Rui frowned slightly. He walked onto one of the yachts and looked for the key in the cockpit. However, he did not start the yacht rashly, but checked it carefully.

It was only after this inspection that he really broke out in a cold sweat.  He really wanted to thank Zhao Jianfei now for helping him develop the habit of being cautious.  There are two wires under the yacht's starting device. When he started the yacht just now, the bomb hidden on the yacht would be activated at the same time.

Alex Ferovich is indeed a former KGB agent, and his tactics are indeed vicious.  Of the three yachts he prepared, only one was for himself, and the other two were just bait.  When fleeing for his life, he could board a safe yacht and escape.  And anyone who catches up here and wants to use these yachts to catch up will only end up destroying themselves.  The terrible thing is that in that rush to pursue, no one will do a careful inspection.  Such booby traps are almost always on target.

Lin Rui wiped the sweat from his forehead. Fortunately, he was cautious enough, otherwise he would have been tricked by the dead Alekferovich.

Lin Rui quietly exited the yacht and boarded another yacht.  After checking that everything was correct, he walked to the exit and pulled the control knife.  The metal door in front of the cave was opened, and the sea breeze from outside blew in, carrying a fishy and salty smell.  Lin Rui breathed a sigh of relief, boarded the yacht, and quickly sailed outside.  The yacht broke through the sea, drew a white water line, and disappeared into the night.

Near the atoll, the O2 team is still waiting.

"It's almost four hours, and it will be dawn if we go down again." Crazy Horse whispered.

"He will come back." Jiang An said through gritted teeth.  "We must wait for him."

"But what if he can't come back?" Snake Eyes whispered, "We all know that the possibility that he can come back smoothly is almost non-existent."

Jiang An turned his head and said, "He must come back, and we must wait. This is necessary!"

"I know." Crazy Horse whispered, "But I mean, we've lost teammates before. Rick is not the first, and he won't be the last. We are all sad, but maybe this time,  He really can¡¯t come back.¡±

"What did you say?" Sergey said angrily.

"You know what I'm saying!" Crazy Horse suddenly turned around and said, "This incident should not have happened. If your team had not suddenly encountered a patrol, and if you could have persisted in silent operations, the result might not have happened.  That's right. Do you still have the nerve to shout at me here?"

Sergey lost control of his anger and said, "I admit that I am responsible this time, but I didn't know it would develop like this. This was an unexpected situation. If I had a choice, I would be the one who stayed. Do you think I want this?  What?"

"Shut up, everyone!" Jiang An shouted.  "The captain's life or death is uncertain. What else do you want? Are you ready to engage in internal strife?"

?"Actuary, you are not a good person. If you hadn't ordered the evacuation, the captain might have been able to escape." Sergey said coldly.

"If I don't take you to evacuate, all of us will have to stay there." Jiang An whispered, "I said, I must put the overall situation first."

Crazy Horse wanted to say something else, but Snake Eyes reached out to block him, winked at him, and whispered, "Stop talking, it's not easy for anyone."

Crazy Horse followed his eyes and looked over. Yelena was at the stern of the boat, holding a telescope in her hand.  She hasn't changed this position since they escaped here.  No one knew what to say to her, because they all knew that it would be useless to say anything now.  Crazy Horse lowered his head and smoked sullenly.

Sergey also fell silent. He took out the wine bottle and took a swig, letting the strong wine burn in his chest.  Among these people, he was probably the saddest, because the previous assassination operation turned into a forced attack due to his mistake, and he was filled with self-blame.  Coupled with Lin Rui's failure to evacuate in time, he was almost ready to die.

Actuary Jiang An looked at everyone and whispered, "What I mean is that we continue to wait, at least until dawn. If there is no news, we will go back first. But I put this sentence down, we must find it  Lin Rui. If you are alive, you must see the person, if you die, you must see the body. All mercenaries are our brothers as long as they are in O2 for one day. We have the responsibility to find him, whether alive or dead. This is the rule. It was like this before, and it will be like this in the future.  . Even if Lin Rui is really gone, as long as we are still here, this rule must continue."

Crazy Horse nodded, "Okay, I have no objection."

Snake Eyes also nodded, patted Sergei on the shoulder, and whispered, "Russian, this is the only thing we can do now."
