Chapter 2099 Gasoline Rain

Previous page        Return to Catalog        Next page

The people in the secret society were stunned by the sudden rain of gasoline. When they woke up and smelled the pungent smell of gasoline on their bodies, they were all shocked.

In an instant, a burning flare was shot on the roadside, instantly igniting the depression full of gasoline. The burning scene was horrific.  The two armored vehicles completely turned into huge fireballs, and the closest secret society soldiers also burned into pyromen. They howled and ran wildly, and then fell down within a few seconds.  The soldiers at the back also had their feet ignited by gasoline. They wailed and flapped their feet, trying to put out the fire on their feet, but their hands were also ignited because they were stained with gasoline.

They ran around screaming and eventually fell down.  The machine gunner on the armored vehicle was also ignited. He pulled the trigger in a ball of flames and fired bullets aimlessly without distinguishing between friend and foe.

The air is filled with the smell of gasoline, the smell of burning rubber, and the smell of burnt flesh.

¡°Damn it, this taste, I will never eat barbecue again.¡± Sergey¡¯s face turned pale as he looked at the miserable situation opposite.

Sausage was also shocked by his vicious plan. He turned blue and said with a guilty conscience, "Boss, will I go to hell?"

"Probably, at least after we die, we will definitely not go to heaven. So cherish every day of your life." Lin Rui whispered, "Back off, the fire of the sausage can block them for ten minutes at most. But,  Their morale has been severely damaged, and I think we can hold off until dark."

Lin Rui¡¯s judgment was correct.  The panic and psychological pressure caused by this sudden fire severely damaged the morale of the secret society's armed forces.  The rebel company was still okay, but the soldiers of the Orumi federal force were already emotionally unstable, and no one was willing to move forward.

Because this scene is so shocking.  The comrades who were running and jumping just now were now burned beyond recognition and curled up into a ball.  The ones who were lucky enough not to die were also severely burned, which looked scarier than the ones who were burned to death.  Some of the burned soldiers had lost their consciousness and were lying on the side muttering nonsense. It looked like they would die soon.

"What's going on?" Conan shouted loudly.

"It's a trap. They set it up for us to escape." The second lieutenant of the rebel company looked extremely ugly. "They used gasoline to create a trap and caused great damage to us."

"How many casualties are there?" Conan asked sharply.  "I need specific casualty information."

"There are more than twenty people in the rebel company alone. Other friendly troops suffered even greater casualties." The second lieutenant whispered, "I have never seen such a battle. They seemed to have guessed that we would enter from that intersection.  There was a large amount of gasoline hidden on the roofs of the buildings on both sides. When we passed by, we poured it on our heads and set it on fire. This fire curbed all our attack momentum."

"Damn it!" Conan lowered his head and looked at his watch, "Can you organize yourself and organize another charge before dark?"

The second lieutenant shook his head and whispered, "I'm afraid not. Even if our company can rush in, other Orumi federal troops will not follow up and cooperate with us. You know how poor their military discipline is. Still  It's already difficult enough for them to avoid deserting and becoming recruiters. If we put too much pressure on them, I'm afraid they will really run away from the battlefield. As the desertion gathers momentum, even their commanders won't be able to stop it."

Conan whispered, "Do we have to continue to let these militia guerrillas go? Our number is almost ten times theirs, and we have air superiority. Just like this, we can't take them down in one day. Do you think the Grand Council will  Do you accept this result?"

"I understand, but there is nothing I can do." The second lieutenant whispered.  "The sky has begun to darken, and in another half an hour, the visibility will continue to decrease. By then we will be more passive. Because we are the one making the assault, but they can easily hide and hit us by surprise.  "

"Then don't wait until night, act immediately and deal with them on the spot." Conan said irritably.

The second lieutenant frowned and said, "But this is impossible. This area in the western suburbs is still very large. We cannot deal with them in a short time."

"Then let your people surround this area. Notify the Orumi federal government troops to bombard their location with mortars until all the shells are used up." Conan shook his head.

"But sir, this is meaningless. It's just a waste of ammunition." The second lieutenant shook his head. "The mortar has a limited charge and a limited power. In this area, there are dense buildings, so it really won't have much effect."

"That can't be done, let's just forget it, right?" Conan said fiercely, "With this result, do you dare to go back and face the Baron? What's more, this time is a task assigned by the Grand Duke. The Grand Duke is facingWe had high hopes for this force, but in the end you couldn't even take down a group of armed militiamen.  What do you think he would think?  "

"Okay, I will personally lead the charge for the last time." The second lieutenant gritted his teeth and turned around and went out.

Conan paced back and forth irritably, and finally looked at the map in front of him in silence.  He was now almost 100% sure that the people facing him were elite mercenaries from Black Island Company.  Maybe it was the Chinese Lin Rui who was personally leading the team.  Although the current situation is not ideal, if the elite team of Black Island Company can be annihilated, the Grand Duke will be very satisfied.  That's why Conan was so obsessed with strengthening the attack just now, because he also knew that this mercenary team was good at night raids.

¡°If it really waits until night falls, this will not be a good thing for them.  Because these Black Island mercenaries resisted so tenaciously, just to delay time, wait for night to fall, and then take the opportunity to break out.  If the rebel company can't attack again this time, then in order to prevent the Black Island mercenaries from escaping, they will have to guard here overnight.  And to be honest, the chances of holding on are not great.  Night makes them more invisible and their attacks more ferocious.

Conan sighed, picked up the cell phone beside him, and called the Red Baron.  "Baron, I think we're in trouble."

"What? Those guerrillas haven't been able to deal with it yet?" the Red Baron frowned, "What's the trouble?"

"Not only are the anti-government guerrillas, but there is also a highly capable mercenary team with them. Those guerrillas seem to be under their leadership. Although it has not been completely confirmed, I suspect that they are the Black Island Military Company  People. It is even very possible that they are the O2 team that often opposes us." Conan whispered.
