Lin Rui followed the sound of gunfire and chased him. He was wearing an Arab headscarf and a gas mask, making it difficult for others to identify his true identity.  The smoke was thick and gunshots were heard in the distance. Several extremists even ran past him without noticing him.  Lin Rui killed these militants with a knife without hesitation.  They never thought that a companion behind them would suddenly stab themselves with a knife.

After dealing with these people, Lin Rui breathed a sigh of relief. He must not let these armed men rush forward and increase the burden on Major Wells.  Lin Rui changed a bullet chain, and then continued to catch up along the passage with an m249 light machine gun.

In this passage, there are corpses everywhere, as well as other militants who have lost their fighting power but have not died.  Passages in several places were bombed by grenades, and the walls were lined with shrapnel. The militants suffered heavy casualties.  Lin Rui couldn't help but admire Wells. He was actually able to charge all the way in.  At the same time, he also saw chemical weapons warning symbols on the wall.  This is the chemical weapons depot, and the door on one side has been pried open.

Lin Rui chased after him, "Wells!"

Wells had been injured in many places, and his shoulders and legs were bloody.  But he stood in the warehouse as if he was stupid. There was a warehouse full of chemical poisons.

After Lin Rui rushed in, he secretly said, "Damn it!"

Wells has seen everything. The words printed on the packaging barrels of these chemical poisons are all made in the United States, and some even have the eagle emblem of the Department of Defense.

Wells turned around and whispered, "Is this why you stopped me? We went through all the trouble to investigate this batch of chemical weapons. Only to find out that these were all provided by our American allies.  It's even possible that the British government is involved. That's why you stopped me, right? This damn conspiracy!" Wells growled ferociously.

Lin Rui said coldly, "I said it would be better if you didn't come. It's a pity that you refused to listen to me."

"For this operation, I lost several of my men, and they were all really good soldiers. But in the end this is the fact." Wells trembled all over and whispered, "What the hell is this?"

"I stopped you because I didn't want you to die." Lin Rui looked at him and said, "I used to have a comrade who was also a SAS member. Later, he died. Only this dagger was left to me. You have many places.  It reminds me of him, but unfortunately, my mission is to prevent anyone from knowing the truth at all costs. Even if necessary, resort to extraordinary measures."

"So, you rushed down here just to kill me." Blood spilled from the corner of Major Wells's mouth. He shook his head and said, "Just do it. I just didn't expect that I would die in the hands of a mercenary."

Lin Rui sat down, lit a cigarette, looked at him and said, "Don't you understand? As a soldier, you are no different from mercenaries like us. The only value of a soldier is to fight with others when necessary.  Occasionally, die for a specific goal. You are the same as us, we are just the most insignificant specks of dust in the war. We are all taking orders from others, ready to die for their needs. This is what soldiers do  Fate. All your honor, responsibility and responsibility are just a joke."

    "Shameless!" Major Wells said angrily.

"I agree with this. All decision-makers are shameless. But they control everything, even our destiny." Lin Rui shook his head, "According to the contract, I must kill you. But, I really don't want to see it.  To this end. So I give you a final choice: First, forget all this, keep it secret, and follow me. No one knows what happened here, and no one knows what you saw, never.  But you will survive and go back to see your loved ones."

"What about the second option?" Major Wells looked at him and asked.

"The second option is to let this matter out. But you will not have the chance. You will have to die here, and die for everything that is not worthy of your trust. As a pathetic victim, you can't change anything.  Maybe the military will pretend to award you additional medals, but this can't erase the pain of your family at all, and it's not even a consolation prize." Lin Rui looked at him and whispered, "I don't have much time, but  At least you can finish this cigarette. You'd better give me an answer before I put out the cigarette."

"I lost several of my men, but found that it was all meaningless. The chemical weapons crisis was just a joke of our own making. You still want me to remain silent?" Wells looked at him and said.

"It's not what I think. What you do has nothing to do with me. I give you this last chance because you remind me of a friend from before. Your destiny is still in your hands. But my destiny is not, I??The contract is in place.  In a sense, I am more tragic than you.  But people have to live.  Lin Rui took a puff of cigarette. "Have you thought about it?"  Those extremists should find this place invaded.  Soon they would be arriving, in droves.  They chanted jihadi slogans that we couldn¡¯t understand and carried out random shootings with guns.  "

"I don't know." Major Wells whispered, "I really don't know."

"Let me tell you one more thing. If you choose to tell it, no one will believe it. And you will change from a heroic major who was wounded in battle to a retired officer who can't survive in the military. This is something they  We do it all the time, and I might as well tell you that there are worse things. Although these chemical weapons belong to the US military, the top brass of the British military may not be aware of it. You are a soft-spoken person, and their top brass never care about people like you." Lin Rui looked at him  road.

"But I feel like I'm betraying my brothers." Major Wells whispered.

"It's not you who betrayed them. In fact, you yourself were also betrayed. As long as it is beneficial to the country, they can sell chemical weapons to these terrorists, and they can also sacrifice you people without hesitation. The funny thing is how to betray the country  It's good, they are the ones making the judgment." Lin Rui took a deep breath, dropped the cigarette butt in his hand, and stamped it out with his military boots.  "That's it. Tell me, do you want to live or die?"

"I want to live, but I have no chance." Major Wells slowly stretched out his hand.  He had been bending over, but when his hand left his abdomen, the blood in his waist and abdomen almost spurted out.

"Thank you for your kindness, but I don't want to make a choice. It should be a ruptured abdominal artery. We all know what this kind of injury means." His pale face was full of melancholy.

Lin Rui stood up silently, took a deep breath and said, "You should have listened to me."

"Let's go, mercenary. I can help you block them for a while before they arrive." Wells pressed his wound again and sat at the door of the chemical weapons warehouse.
