Chapter 1974 Blood Trust

Lin Rui quickly rolled into the continuous gunfire, and then rolled and crawled into a corner to hide. Lin Rui felt like a rabbit being chased.  Amidst the sound of explosions, he pressed his earphones and shouted, "Where is the second team of Group B? If you hear it, please answer, damn answer!" The impact of the explosion made him a little dizzy, and he didn't understand what happened and where he was.  He felt dizzy with disgust and anger.

He quickly took a look around and found that the dark and dull building in front of him was still spitting out tongues of fire.  "Damn, it's a large-caliber machine gun." He adjusted his night vision goggles and saw the machine gun roaring high-pitched in the distance, while the helmets of the secret society militants emitted a faint, faint sound under the distant searchlights.  Ghostly reflections.

Lin Rui raised his assault rifle and fired half the magazine into the distance.  The bullets were fired very accurately, but apart from killing a few secret society armed men who were relatively close, they had no effect on that firepower point.

"This is really unnecessary, boss. I suggest you keep enough ammunition to make plans for the future." Snake Eyes' teasing voice sounded in the earphones.

"Damn it, someone finally answered. Why haven't the people from Group B arrived yet?" Lin Rui said loudly.  Although he was still angry, he had no choice but to accept the reality before him.  Lin Rui looked around.  "Where are they?"

"There may be something wrong with your communicator. I received their message. They have ended their ambush on reinforcements and are on their way." Snake Eyes replied.

Lin Rui felt frustrated for a while, "Okay, I was shaken just now, maybe some of it was broken. How are the others? Are they okay?"

"They have no problem. The guys from the Secret Society must have a special purpose for building this large checkpoint. And the firepower point there is too strong. We must remove this firepower point before Team B arrives." Snake Eyes  He replied patiently, "The explosion just now almost scared me to death, but I am happy to see that you are still alive."

"What nonsense are you talking about? Of course I will live! But it won't last long, unless you kill that firepower point for me first." Lin Rui said.

"Understood, I'm moving in your direction. Russian, give me some cover." Snake Eyes shouted in the team channel.

"Understood, I'm on your side." Sergey, the Russian, continued to chatter, humming an incomprehensible Russian ditty.

Their casual conversation was interrupted by a large group of secret society armed men, who emerged from the darkness in all shapes and sizes.  Some moved forward quickly, some crawled, and some jumped out of the bunker and fired outwards with guns in hand.  In the blink of an eye, the Russian Sergei no longer even had the temperament to sing. He had to start fighting for his life again, moving back and forth to pull the enemy away. Almost everywhere he ran, he would be hit by bullets.  .

The grenades fired from behind finally brought the enemy's attack to an abrupt end.  Sergei was able to lie down in the corner and reload his weapon.  He was humming a tune and laughing.  "Snake Eyes, hurry up, this is my last grenade. You don't have time to wander around! You still have work to do, kill the firepower over there."

"Shut up, Russia, can you stop singing?" Snake Eyes said with some annoyance. Sergey's obscene tunes annoyed him.  Holding the sniper rifle, he quickly lay down next to Sergey and started taking aim.

"This is life, singing, killing people." Sergey explained, "These songs can help reduce stress, especially you damn sniper, you have to learn to relax. Quickly kill the machine gun over there,  We have to get to the boss."

After Snake Eyes hit the target with one shot, he was about to turn around and curse the Russian guy who specially interrupted, when an armed man from the secret society suddenly sprang out from the groove in the wall and shot at them.  Snake Eyes immediately fired back. The secret society armed man fell down first and then tried to jump up again.  Until Sergei's second burst of fire broke his head.

"Let's go." Snake Eyes shook his head and said, turning around to deal with several enemies trying to advance.  They were already very close to Lin Rui's position.  A steady stream of bullets poured out from Lin Rui's assault rifle, providing cover for their approach.  Instantly, he felt something sneaking up from behind. He turned around and found a secret society militant limping closer.

Lin Rui's reaction was quite timely this time. The militant was injured, which caused his actions to be slower.  Lin Rui was trying to change the magazine and it was too late to reload the gun.  He threw out the magazine full of bullets, hit the militant in the face, and immediately took a step forward.  He rolled to one side, grabbed a shotgun on the ground, turned around and shot.  The secret society militant's face exploded, pieces of flesh flying, and a burst of red mist emitted, like a bursting balloon. He continued to struggle on the ground for the remaining ten seconds until he died.

Lin Rui dropped the shotgun, picked up the assault rifle, and quickly changed the magazine. This was almost a routine battle.  Although the shotgun is powerful, it is only suitable for close combat. The only way to solve the problem is to use this 7.62 mm caliber bullet.  His M4A1 has long run out of bullets, and the one he is holding now is an AK47 he picked up temporarily on the battlefield.

Lin Rui has other plans.  He killed the last enemy who tried to charge forward.  Sergei and Snake Eyes just jumped into the bunker where he was hiding.  "I didn't see anyone just now. You're here just in time. You're welcome!" Lin Rui said fiercely.

"Boss, we all know you can handle it alone." Sergey said with a playful smile.

"Stop talking nonsense." Lin Rui urged, "We have to clear this area because Sausage and the others are trapped in that corner. We have to ensure their safety. Russian guy, go rescue them. Snake Eyes will guard this place with me.  , to prevent the enemy¡¯s counterattack.¡±

Snake Eyes shot a gunman in the distance and mocked: "I can finally be at peace. I really want to leave this Russian guy."

Sergei seemed to be oblivious to Snake Eyes's cynicism. He continued to curse and hum his obscene ditty - and then happily rushed to another area densely populated by members of the secret society.  Next, Lin Rui and others provided him with cover, and he rushed in all the way, through corridors, through passages full of building debris after the explosion, and then through more corridors.  He eventually came to a corner and faced another group of secret society militants.

And the Snake Eyes behind him provided Sergey with no less than three or four key covers.  The bickering and insults did not affect the trust between them in the slightest.  Because the trust between them was exchanged for blood and life.
