Chapter 1890 Temporary press conference

Previous page        Return to Catalog        Next page

At the temporary press conference, reporters were waiting for the spokesperson¡¯s explanation of the incident.  And ask some tough questions from time to time.  The targets are all directed at whether there is a conspiracy behind the formation of the Orumi Federation.  What impact will this assassination have on that?  The rather experienced spokesman was forced to frequently say he had no comment.

Lin Rui and others didn't care about this at all. They were just thinking about what the people of the secret society would do next.  Lin Rui pretended to be looking ahead, but out of the corner of his eye, he often glanced to both sides inadvertently.  He whispered, "It's not a good situation."

"I felt it too." Jiang An whispered, "They recognized us."

"I don't understand, since they recognized us, why didn't they take action? This is not like the style of the Red Baron. He will never show mercy. If he had discovered us, we would have been shot in the head by now."  Luo whispered.

"Yes, so I'm thinking that the person who is targeting us this time may not be the Red Baron, but another person." Jiang An whispered, "A person who is no less dangerous than the Red Baron, and is more patient.  .¡±

"You mean the strategist Marklovsky?" Lin Rui asked suspiciously.

"It seems that you have also thought of him. In this operation, we have the help of Aladdin. And Marklovsky has always regarded Aladdin as his enemy. It seems that he is going to take a long-term approach to catch the big fish this time, through us  Come and show Aladdin a good look." Jiang An whispered.

"It's a good idea, but in full view of the public, they have no reason to be disadvantageous to us." Lin Rui whispered.  "Don't forget that there are a lot of South African military and police around. Now these people have become our protective umbrella. What else can Maklovsky do?"

"I don't think it's too simple." Jiang An whispered.

Yelena whispered, "There is a situation."

    "What's wrong?" Lin Rui whispered.

"The security personnel who were originally posted at the entrance seem to have suddenly left their positions." Yelena explained in a low voice.

Lin Rui also nodded and whispered, "This is indeed a bit strange. Their direction is the second barrier to prevent someone from forcibly breaking in with the entrance. With the ability of Octopus's men, how could they suddenly relax their vigilance? This is simply  Are we all wrong about the pace of letting people in? He has not locked us in yet?"

"No! He has locked onto us." Jiang An whispered, "The secret society must be preparing something, otherwise it would not be so fearless."

"Everyone, be careful, look for someone to come in." Lin Rui whispered.  I saw security consultant Octopus and a young man walking in. Octopus even whispered a few words to his men.  The private security forces seemed to have received orders from the octopus and began to withdraw, leaving only some South African special police officers patrolling around the press conference.

"Oops." Lin Rui suddenly whispered, "Everyone lower their heads and don't act rashly no matter what happens."

"What?" Jiang An hasn't finished speaking yet.  Suddenly a group of people rushed in from outside, all wearing black hoods and combat uniforms.  Without warning, these people raised their guns and fired, killing the South African military and police officers on the spot, causing panic among the crowd.

The octopus was slightly startled and turned to look at the strategist Marklovsky.  He lowered his voice and said, "I never said this before."

"There is nothing we can do. These South African military police will not be able to complete the next step of their work with us." Maklovsky said coldly.  "Don't worry, these people are not your responsibility, your family is."

The octopus gritted its teeth and stopped talking.

The armed men in black turned around and pointed their guns at the ceiling.  "You all should be quiet. Whoever makes a sound will be killed!" a man in black shouted.  Several of his men immediately shot and killed several journalists who were still chattering without knowing whether to live or die.  The entire ICC International Conference Center became deathly quiet, and the frightened reporters were willing to bite their fingers rather than dare to speak out.

"Everyone, sit down. The communication here has been cut off and you can't contact the outside world. Now all of you are our hostages." The armed men in black shouted, "We are the Great Orumi Freedom Liberation Organization. This  The Second Four-Nation Conference was a humiliation to our national rights. It was a conference where the warlord leaders stole the spoils of the country. Here, I want to declare that the people will not allow such traitorous behavior."

Those reporters were scared and excited at the same time. They were scared that they had been taken hostage, but they were excited because they had grabbed the headlines.  It turns out that this explosion was done by this person called the Great Orumi Freedom Liberation Organization.  Moreover, the name of this organization is not a good one at first glance.  It is estimated that they are the opposition forces among the four countries.

Only Lin Rui and others were very calm. They all knew that there was no problem at all.??Such an organization.  Maklovsky was prepared to pretend to be such a radical organization, and then create a series of incidents to put pressure on those who opposed Orumi's becoming a federation.

Since a group of notorious terrorists oppose the establishment of a federation in Orumi, it is obviously correct to support the establishment of a federation.  This concept will also affect the attitudes of many other countries.  Marklovsky's move, a series of eliminations and blows, invisibly restored the situation a little bit.

And Lin Rui also knew that he wanted more than just this.

While he was talking, an armed man pointed a gun at the octopus and said, "Come out!"

    The octopus walked out helplessly.

"This foreigner was bribed by the warlord. He acted as a thug for the warlord's forces and formed an illegal federal government. He was sentenced to death." The militant finished speaking coldly and pointed his gun at the octopus's forehead.

Octopus¡¯s face changed drastically and he turned to Marklovsky in surprise.

"I promised to protect your family, but I didn't promise to protect you." Maklovsky chuckled.  "And we feel that we need a little deterrence. We can only aggrieve you a little."

Octopus's forehead was dripping with sweat. He looked at Marklovsky angrily and gritted his teeth and said, "There are many of my people outside. If you kill me, don't even think about leaving."

"They are just your employees. If the boss dies, the worst they can do is find another place to work. I have never heard of someone having to risk their lives for him if the boss dies." Maklovsky mocked, "And I can also give you  They have a new job, the salary is not low, and there are benefits.¡±

The octopus turned pale and closed his eyes in despair.

Maklovsky waved his hand, and the armed man immediately opened fire, and blood splattered everywhere.  The tragic scene of the shooting made many people at the scene close their eyes and dare not look again. They bit their fingers fiercely for fear of shouting.

But Marklovsky was very satisfied with everything and said with a smile, "You are doing the right thing. It is a virtue to keep quiet when others are talking. Isn't this good?"
