"We are here to see Mr. Bayid." Lin Rui shrugged, "We have an appointment."

"Bayid? You mean, you want to see the chief of staff of the armed forces?" The Kurdish militant was a little surprised.

"I don't know which armed force you are talking about. Sorry, I don't know much about the current situation. The person we are looking for is Omari Bayid, the leader of a local tribal armed faction." Lin Rui frowned.

"That's him. He is now the chief of staff of our armed forces." The Kurdish militants explained, "Are you friends of the chief of staff?"

"They should be considered friends of friends. We have never met before." Lin Rui shook his head and said, "But we have agreed to meet in these two days."

The leading militant put away his gun, laughed and hugged Lin Rui, "Welcome, friend. I am Bayid's nephew, and he is one of my uncles."

"Nephew?" Lin Rui was a little surprised.

"Yes, he is my third uncle. I know where he is. Come on, I will take you to find him." The militant nodded.

    "Okay." Lin Rui nodded.

His straightforward attitude made the Kurdish militant a little dazed. He frowned and said, "Is it that simple? Are you willing to go with us? Besides, how do you know that we are not deceiving you?"

"I am willing to follow you because I believe that you are Kurdish armed forces, not others. The weapons in your hands are French-made Famas rifles. As far as I know, this type of weapon is not available in the international market.  The performance is not good, and few people will invest money to buy it. But I know that in June last year, the French assisted the Kurdish armed forces with a batch of weapons." Lin Rui said with a smile.

The Kurdish militant looked at the weapon in his hand and nodded thoughtfully, "So that's it."

"Besides, I'm not afraid of you lying to me." Lin Rui smiled, "Because if you lie to me, you will never end well."

The Kurdish militant frowned, but still smiled, "Well, I am really his nephew. Nice to meet you. Come with me."

Lin Rui waved the team members to get in the car, and then he sat in the car of the militants.  This is a proactive gesture of goodwill and a clear indication that you are not hostile.

The militant seemed to appreciate this and chatted with Lin Rui along the way.  Bayid's family is a large local family. After the war in Iraq ended, they spontaneously organized militia to defend their homeland.  Later, they defeated extremists several times in their hometown.  They have a high reputation in the local area, and their family's armed forces are quite strong.

Recently, he led his troops to join the Kurdish Armed Forces and served as the chief of staff. This is a time of great success.

The convoy entered an inconspicuous courtyard. The young Kurdish militant greeted the guards and entered.  After waiting for several minutes before coming out, he patted Lin Rui's shoulder affectionately, "The chief of staff asked you to come in. He said you are his honored guests."

Lin Rui nodded and followed him in. Inside the yard was a two-story bungalow, which was no different from other houses in the Kurdish mountains.  In the room he saw Bayid, a middle-aged man who looked quite strong.  He was wearing a camouflage uniform and looked quite imposing.

"Chief of Staff Bayid?" Lin Rui frowned.

"Yes, I am. You must be Mr. Aladdin's special envoy." Bayid said with a smile, "I was really surprised to receive Mr. Aladdin's message. We haven't seen each other for almost three years.  Yes. Is he okay now?"

"He is very good. Chief of Staff Bayid should know the reason why we are here this time, right?" Lin Rui looked at him and said.

"Yes." Bayid nodded, "In fact, I was surprised. I didn't expect him to know everything about what happened here. That fake Kurdish militia gave us a headache. And Mr. Aladdin thought,  You and your people can help us.¡±

"Yes. The purpose of our visit this time is for them. Do you have any news about them?" Lin Rui asked.

"There is some news, but it is very scattered news. I know which area they are operating in, but we rarely encounter them. Many times, they are in friction with some of our militiamen. Very often.  Don't provoke our large troops. And don't take the initiative to cause trouble, just like" Bayid frowned.

"What do they seem to be doing?" Lin Rui frowned.

"It's like they're guarding the place, just like we did before. But their territory actually has nothing, it's justSeveral small villages in the area.  So we never took them seriously.  It was not until our people clashed with them not long ago that we discovered that the so-called Kurdish National Liberation Front troops were not Kurds at all.

¡°Moreover, after we encountered threats from extremists, armed militias from various places in Kurdistan planned to unite to form the Kurdish armed forces.  The conditions were favorable and most of the small-scale armed forces were willing to participate, but they seemed to have no interest.  So we concluded it was a fake.  " Bayid nodded.

"Okay, then please do me a favor and provide me with the specific scope of activities of this group of people." Lin Rui nodded, "Maybe I can help you get rid of them."

"Of course, I believe it." Bayid nodded, "I don't believe in other people's abilities, but I absolutely believe in Mr. Aladdin's ability. With his energy and resources, there is almost nothing he can't do. But  He smiled slightly and said, "Why should I do this for you?"

Lin Rui looked at him without speaking.

Bayid winked at his nephew, and the young Kurdish militant picked up the gun in his hand and pointed it at Lin Rui.

"Chief of Staff, what do you mean?" Lin Rui frowned.

Bayid looked at Lin Rui and said, "I do have a relationship with Mr. Aladdin, and the relationship is very deep, but it is based on business. He is an arms dealer, and I am a buyer. And he can always get tight deals.  Of course I have to fawn over him, that's it. But now, the situation is different. He quits, so I don't have to fawn over him. And, you know what? We have a lot of sponsors now.  , we don¡¯t have to worry about weapons and ammunition at all.¡±

"So?" Lin Rui sighed.  "I hear what the Chief of Staff says, do you not want to help me anymore? Can you give me a clear answer?"

"Yes, not only do I not want to help, I will also arrest you." Bayid smiled, "Because I remember that several countries are offering huge rewards for him, including those American bosses."
