Chapter 985 Bomb Trap

    Yelena observed for a while and stepped back, then whispered, "There are too many of them, and they have far more firepower than us. There is no chance of winning if we forcefully attack us. And even if we rush in, we can't rescue people. Is there any way?  Sneak directly indoors?¡±

    Lin Rui frowned and said, "I guess not. I saw that the automatic door there has no door. If we don't have a magnetic card, we can't get in at all."

    "But how did they get in?" Yelena frowned.

    The Russian shuddered suddenly, raised his hands suddenly, and stammered, "Mikhail Rektorovich Alevsky. Researcher at the Kurchatov Institute. I'm just an intern.  I am a student, have been working for two years, participated in three research projects, and don¡¯t know anything else.¡±

    Lin Rui was angry and funny.  This damn Russian guy is very aware of current affairs, and he said anything as soon as he saw the gun.

    "Stop talking nonsense, I'm here to save you!" Lin Rui let go of him, "Where are the others?"

    The Russian Aleph was stunned for a moment, then hugged Lin Rui suddenly, almost bursting into tears, "The security forces were all dead, and we were all captured. Everyone was locked in the conference room. They planted bombs on us.  "After saying that, he untied his clothes, which shocked Lin Rui.  He was wearing a belt with an array of small explosives strapped to it, and the sensors were still on.

    "Your mother" Lin Rui pushed this guy away in shock, "Stay away from me."

    "Don't be afraid, this is a sensor bomb. As long as we don't leave this area, the fuse will not be triggered, and it will be fine." Aleph explained.

    Lin Rui was speechless, "Is this the case for everyone else?"

    "Yes, they forced all of us to tie bombs. Two professors refused to cooperate, and they executed them on the spot. Now everyone in the conference room has bombs tied to them. As long as we leave this sensing area, the bombs will be gone.  It will explode." Aleph said tremblingly.

    "Damn, is it so troublesome?" Lin Rui frowned, "Then where is the detonation sensor?"

    "It's in the conference room. There are a lot of them guarding there. God, it's terrible." Aleph whispered.

    "Then why did you come out?" Lin Rui frowned.

    "I just went to the toilet, and they sent someone to follow me, the one you subdued just now" Aleph said helplessly.

    Lin Rui pulled the Russian aside, "Listen! If I want to save you, I have to sneak into the conference room first. Try to dismantle the bombs on you, or disable the inductive detonation device."  It works. After a while, I will put on that person's clothes and escort you in. You try to be as natural as possible and don't show any flaws. Do you understand?"

    Aleph nodded with fear on his face.

    Lin Rui didn't care anymore and quickly changed into the mercenary's combat uniform.  Fortunately, they all wore masks, so it was difficult to tell them apart from their appearance.  Lin Rui tidied up, first took the magnetic access card, then put on the mercenary uniform and weapons, and dragged the body aside.  He turned to Aleph and said, "Let's go."

    Aleph walked timidly in front, Lin Rui pushed him from behind and walked towards the conference room.  The meeting room was heavily guarded.     Lin Rui pushed Alek into the crowd and motioned for him to lie down.

    One of the mercenaries frowned and said, "Hey, why have you been there for so long?!"

    "Because this guy pissed himself on the road." Lin Rui said casually.

    When the mercenary was stunned, Lin Rui covered his mouth with one hand and stabbed his heart with a knife.  Almost at the same time, he suddenly kicked back, causing the other mercenary with a gun behind him to stumble backward.  Lin Rui turned around, whipped the dagger in his hand back, and stabbed it into the mercenary's throat.

    Because his body had been knocked out of center by Lin Rui's kick, the mercenary was unable to dodge in time, and the knife penetrated deeply into his throat.  The mercenary struggled a few times to reach for his gun, but was pinned against the wall by Lin Rui.  It wasn't until his body went limp that Lin Rui pulled out the dagger and let him go.

    This sudden change caused a chaos in the conference room. Fortunately, the conference room in this kind of place is extremely confidential and has multiple sound insulation.  Even if they yell, they can't be heard outside.

    Lin Rui turned around and shouted, "Shut up! Who is the person in charge here?"

    These scientific researchers remained silent, staring at the bloody fighting dagger in Lin Rui's hand.  Fortunately, Aleph reacted in time, pointed at an old man and said, "It's the professor."

    Lin Rui glanced at the old professor and felt helpless, "Forget it, Alek. You will be responsible from now on. If you want to escape, you must first defuse the bomb on you." He pulled out the bomb.  Another knife was handed to Alek, "Help each other and take off the bomb belts."
