Modern Taekwondo originated in South Korea. It can be said to be a folk martial art founded by Korean karate practitioners.

It is said that the earliest Taekwondo was not a traditional Korean martial art, but the Shoto-ryu of karate.  It was founded by a Korean military personnel named Choi Hongxi.  Of course, the founder is not Cui Hongxi alone, but a group of like-minded people.  After summarizing Shoto-ryu and some other karate techniques, Cui Hongxi and others integrated the traditional Korean martial arts "shoulder support technique" into the boxing technique, and finally created this boxing technique based on leg techniques.

The shoulder support technique is said to be an ancient martial art of the Korean people, and this martial art is also said to have come from China.

Today, in the Ningxia generation, a martial arts called stepping on the feet are also circulated. The basic forms of the competition and the means of fighting are all kinds of martial arts that are basically the same as the shoulder -supporting technique of Han Xian's ancient biography.

Especially in a place called Jingyuan County in the southern mountainous area of ??Ningxia, everyone here, whether a child of eight or nine years old or an old man over fifty years old, can "step on" a few feet.  Whenever there is a leisure time in winter or spring or after dinner, you can always see "foot-tapping" warriors walking around on the local open wheat field, moving their feet as fast as flying; the spectators cheer, applaud, and a game continues until "  Only when the top master of "treading" came out, "Treading King", did everyone leave happily.

According to local research, this stepping martial art has been passed down locally for more than 120 years!  Originated in the middle of the Tang Dynasty, it was originally a type of "flailing legs" and was once popular among the Hui people in Weinan and Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. It was only spread to Ningxia with the migration of local Hui people in the late Qing Dynasty.

In the past, it was purely a martial arts event with complete routines.  This kind of martial art relies entirely on footwork to complete various offensive and defensive movements. The hands only play a role in balancing the body and protecting and blocking. Practitioners can use the soles of the feet, heels, and outside of the feet to step, kick, and sweep the opponent. The basic movements include flat stepping, dragging, and kicking.  Feet, back feet, backward turns, chain turns, sweeping turns, front and back kicks, front and back kicks, flying kicks, etc.  It pays attention to the coordination of hands, eyes, body, method and steps. The movements are large and varied.  All forms are very close to the shoulder support technique proven by Koreans.

What's more interesting is that the pronunciation of the word "shoulder" and "step" in Chinese are also similar.

Of course, there is currently no completely accurate blood test data on the main species, but the similarity between the two martial arts is very high.  However, for a highly integrated culture like martial arts, this kind of research is actually of little significance.  No matter where this thing came from, it is undeniable that the technology of Taekwondo truly integrates kicking and martial arts, and it has also been promoted to the world.

The characteristics of the ancient shoulder support technique are the same as "stepping on the feet". It moves the hands like a dance and moves the feet a lot. It is a self-protection martial art in which the legs are more defensive than offensive.  The current Taekwondo is not like this, but combines karate movements with the hands, and the offense and defense of the hands are basically similar to karate.

However, with the commercial development of Taekwondo, this kind of boxing has also divided into two poles. Some of them advocate martial arts and have developed towards a more practical aspect, while the other part has just developed into flower performance.

However, of the two techniques, the one with the highest popularity is flower performance.

Park Puchang, the chairman of "Yang Taekwondo" Taekwondo Hall, which is headquartered in South Korea and has branches all over the world, is a man who walks on two legs. On the one hand, he organizes people to carry out commercial activities for the purpose of easy popularization in various countries around the world.  Taekwondo flower method professor, gathering money and money.  On the other hand, within South Korea, he is committed to promoting the practical skills of Taekwondo. He is also a master of Taekwondo and is known as the number one master of Taekwondo. He is also one of the few masters in the entire Korean Taekwondo community.  .  However, Park Puchang himself did not come to this competition. The team leader was his younger brother Park Yuchang. His Taekwondo skills were second only to his brother in Yangyun. In terms of strength, he was even better than Park Puchang, but in terms of technique, he was better than Park Puchang.  Brother Big seems to have become a bit tougher in the past.

Taekwondo used for fighting has more medium and low kicks, and attaches great importance to the training of leg strength and flexibility.  The hand movements are also much richer, and the use of elbows, knees and knife hands has been improved.

The knife hand of Taekwondo is basically the hand knife technique in Japanese karate. The hand is used to make the knife, and the edge of the palm is used as the blade to strike and block, which is very flexible.  And through long-term practice of hand knife hardness, it is easy to split bricks and break wood.  Of course, this kind of wood is not the usual taekwondo fir board used for performances that is broken in half on the stage, but the logs are cut horizontally.

Koreans and Thais are completely different. They are more business-savvy. They are also martial arts communication agencies. Yang Tao is of course doing this competition as a commercial promotion event.

So, right now, on the fighting stage of the "Senyan" Fight ClubThere will be one from the Korean Taekwondo Federation, one from the Chuanwu Center, and one from the S City Boxing Association.

Before this competition, an introductory video has been produced for the participating boxers from both sides.

At this time, the host introduced the situation of both sides of the competition and prompted to play the short video.  Although it is a recorded broadcast, all the formats are modeled on live broadcasts.

The big screen on the stage began to play the black fifth stage of Lee Jin-xi, the first Korean competitor.  It turns out that Li Jinxi is also a very influential figure in the Korean Taekwondo community. He has a certain affinity with Mr. Li Kuiyan, one of the founders of Korean Taekwondo. He has been immersed in this Taekwondo since he was a child, and he has reached the level of black Dan at the age of fifteen.  He has been practicing martial arts for so many years, and finally was officially promoted to fifth dan last year. He is a person with outstanding practical ability.

What he is best at is Taekwondo punches and front leg splits followed by rear leg kicks. Moreover, his Taekwondo skills have progressed from "hard to overcome soft" to "soft to overcome hard". He once traveled all over the world alone.  I traveled to various cities and villages in South Korea to learn traditional shoulder support techniques. In order to practice the toughness of my kicks, I lived in Thailand for three years. I also became friends with many Muay Thai masters and learned from each other.

Since his family¡¯s financial situation was not bad, he also went to Japan to learn karate and judo.  What¡¯s even more interesting is that his idol turned out to be the famous Chinese kung fu star Bruce Lee, and he also studied Jeet Kune Do for a period of time.  Regarding the origin of Jeet Kune Do, I attended a training class in Hong Kong to learn Wing Chun from others. However, during an argument with my Chinese brothers who were learning Wing Chun together, I injured one of the brothers and was not angry when the teacher punished him.  The teacher acted unfairly and took action, but ended up kicking his teacher with his hind legs.

While studying in Thailand, he also communicated with a retired Muay Thai champion, but the opponent was defeated by his hard punches and quick kicks.  From then on, he believed that he had reached Bruce Lee's level and always claimed that Bruce Lee was second.  He already owns a Taekwondo gym in South Korea, and this time he comes to China to compete. He feels that this is an opportunity for him to become famous in China and expand the gym to China.

After all, City S is one of the largest cities in China.
