Akai Shuichi took Gin to a Japanese barbecue restaurant.

The store is small and elegantly decorated. If you don¡¯t look at the menu and store name, 80% of people will mistake it for an ancient teahouse.

Probably because it had just opened, it was lunch time and there were not many customers in the store. Two waiters stood behind the cashier and chatted in low voices. When they saw Gin and Shuichi Akai pushing the door open together, they quickly adjusted their clothes and looked at each other.  He greeted them with a smile on his face.

"Welcome." The two of them bowed in unison and made an invitation sideways, "Two guests, please go this way."

Regardless of other things, this service attitude is impeccable.

Akai Shuichi came to this barbecue restaurant for the first time, and he looked familiar. He followed the waiter with gin and picked a double seat by the window. When the waiter handed over the menu, he immediately changed the menu.  , push it to Gin.

Gin was not keen on appetites, and the variety of dish names on the menu made it somewhat difficult for him to make a choice as he had something to eat, so he shook his head and pushed the menu back.

¡°I¡¯m treating you today, please have some.¡±

Akai Shuichi was not polite to him. He took back the menu in an obedient manner, ordered a set meal for two, then picked out a few signature side dishes and two popular drinks, and the dinner dishes were neatly decided.

The waiter politely withdrew, and carefully looked at the two of them several times before leaving. He suppressed his nymphomaniacal smile and ran into the kitchen. He handed Akai's showier order to the chef, and then chattered about which of the two handsome guys was more eye-catching.

The experienced chef glanced at them and muttered at a volume that only he could hear: "So what if they are good? Those two are obviously deep-seated cabinets"

The little episode in the kitchen did not reach the ears of Gin and Akai Shuichi. While waiting for the food to be served, the two of them were chatting awkwardly.

"Is this your first time at a barbecue restaurant, Mr. Kurosawa?" Shuichi Akai rested his chin on his elbow and stared at Gin unblinkingly, as if looking at some lost treasure.

Gin took a sip of the drink through the straw, and the unfamiliar but not unpleasant taste filled his mouth: "Yeah."

"How do you feel?" Akai Shuichi asked again.

"It's okay." Gin sipped his drink and answered a little absent-mindedly.

Akai Shuichi raised the corners of his lips: "Then what do you think it would be like to have dinner with me?"

Gin raised his eyebrows, bit his straw and asked, "Why do you ask?"

"I just want to know how much tolerance Mr. Kurosawa has for me." Shuichi Akai said half-truthfully, his smile gentle and deep, like the silent abyss under the moonlight night.

"Sitting face to face for a meal, is this something that needs to be tolerated?" No matter what he does, Gin doesn't like the feeling of being at a disadvantage. He learned to flirt back without a teacher, "Mr. Akai is very impressed with his charm."  So unsure?"

"Can I take this as Mr. Kurosawa's encouragement? If possible" The veteran driver Akai smiled slightly, resting his left hand on the table to cover Gin's right hand not far away, and rubbed it ambiguously with his thumb.

The killer's instinct was revived by the unfamiliar touch, and Gin almost twisted Akai Shuichi's arm out of reflex. Fortunately, at the last moment of exerting force, he suppressed this impulse.

Pulling out his stiff hand from Akai Shuichi's palm, Gin simply hugged the drink glass with both hands and said calmly: "Sorry, I'm not used to unfamiliar people touching me."

"It doesn't matter." Akai Shuichi rubbed his fingers, feeling the remaining warmth on his fingertips, and a dark light flashed in his eyes, "I will work hard to break through your defenses, Mr. Kurosawa."

Although this sentence is not as straightforward as his previous pursuit of Minamoto Yorimitsu, there is a subtle ambiguity and danger, like the interlaced fingers and entangled breaths in the middle of the night, or the murderous intent hidden when a beast approaches its prey.  , showing a strange determination to win.

There was a corner of Gin's cold heart that had melted for him, but now that corner had become cold and hard again, but being held in his arms and trying to warm it with his body temperature made Gin feel very uncomfortable.

"You will regret it." Gin responded lightly, and a corner of the ice layer on his heart was pried open. These words were the reflection of his wavering at that moment.

Regret must be based on what you have gained.

Akai Shuichi smiled confidently: "I can't."

The dinner was spent in a quiet atmosphere, the two of them did not speak anymore, only the sound of the clinking of bowls and chopsticks echoed softly.

Akai Shuichi habitually takes care of Gin, and Gin uncharacteristically does not refuse. In the eyes of outsiders, they look very much alike., a flash of appreciation flashed across his beautiful red-brown eyes, "I wonder if I can solve the case live."

"Of course not, the case must be kept secret from the public until it is solved." Kaito rejected his idea without thinking, and then smiled with white teeth: "But you can participate in some reasoning activities.  After the organizer agrees, the entire event will be broadcast live. I believe no organizer will refuse this kind of thing that is beneficial to both people and ourselves."

Baima Tan was a little moved, but he just smiled and shook his head: "Let's talk about it later, I want to avoid the limelight first."

Hearing this, Kaito lost interest in the live broadcast and hooked Hakuba on his shoulder: "Hey, can you tell me what you went through now? I helped you once, but I can't even tell you the reason why I helped you.  I don¡¯t know.¡±

When Hakuba Tan first arrived at Aidou's hut, he temporarily refused to tell Kaito what happened to him because he was physically and mentally exhausted, and even borrowed his room to take a nap.  Unfortunately, due to the stubbornness of his biological clock, although he was tired, he could never really fall asleep, so he went downstairs to chat with Kaito.

Kaito was particularly curious about what happened to him. He asked insinuatingly several times during the chat, but he was vague about it.  Now, while he was in a good mood, Kaito brought up the old conversation again and had to ask him about his experience.

With a helpless sigh, White Horse Detective said, "Well, if you really want to know, I'll just tell you."

"Do you need me to avoid it?" Seeing the scene of the anchor eating a centipede alive on the screen, Gin took a sip of coffee without changing his expression.

"No need." Baima Tan smiled bitterly, "It's not something that cannot be said, just take it as a joke."

Kaidou rolled his eyes and told him not to say anything. He jumped upstairs and took down several large bags of snacks and lined them up on the table.  He opened a bag of potato chips, chewed them loudly, and said while chewing, "Now you can say it."

¡°Hehe, this is not meant to be a joke, but a TV series.

"" Baima Tan took away his potato chips expressionlessly, "Be careful not to let me catch you doing something embarrassing."

????????????? Otherwise, he will definitely open the most expensive red wine in the house, paired with a medium-rare steak, to let him know how luxurious Bagua's food configuration can be.
