It¡¯s snowing heavily outside and the north wind is howling.  There was a fire in the reception hall, which was very warm.  The Jieyin Hall, which was originally one of the main halls of Baoxiang Temple, did not have a single pilgrim. It was heavily guarded and no one could enter.

The new silver frost charcoal has just been burned, and it has not yet burned into the core.

"Miss Gu, please sit over here." Wang Chun closed his umbrella and went out. Jiang Yan asked Gu Jinchao to sit on the stool next to the fire.

Soon a boy came over with hot tea.

Gu Jinchao held the tea and stared at the stove for a moment before looking up.

There are eight large red lacquered pillars in the Jieyin Hall, with a raised rosette in the middle. A Buddha statue about ten feet high is covered with gold foil, bowing his head and pinching his fingers. The candlelight on the candlesticks on both sides is shining, reflecting the golden light in the room.  Under the rosette, there is a futon with golden thread and lotus pattern, which is several meters long.  Chen Sanye was standing opposite an old monk who lived a long life. He was a little far away from her. She could only hear the old monk's voice muttering Buddhist sutras, his voice steady and peaceful.

Buddhist scriptures make people¡¯s minds peaceful.

The old monk finished reading the scriptures and talked to Chen Yanyun.  The monk is too old to tell his age, but his snow-white cassock is exceptionally soft.  Chen Yanyun asked him in a low voice: "The Buddha told Subhuti, 'All appearances are false. If you see all appearances as non-appearances, you will see the Tathagata.' What does the abbot think should be done to explain this?"

The old monk said: "Buddha has three bodies, and the Dharma-nature Buddha is the three undifferentiated Dharma-natures of all living beings. All things are caused by the convergence of causes and conditions, and birth and death are all corrupt and false. The Tathagata has Dharma-nature. Dharma-nature is not  It can be seen by its appearance that the nature of Dharma is neither born nor destroyed, neither dirty nor pure, neither coming nor going, neither increasing nor decreasing. Zen Master Baizhang Huaihai said that "the spiritual light shines alone, far away from the roots and dust; the true body reveals itself regardless of words."  The undefiled nature of the mind is self-perfected but separated from false conditions, it is like a Buddha.' This is the nature of the Dharma. If you can be in the physical form and separated from the physical form, you can see"

The old monk said again: "The donor calls the Buddha a dharma-natured Buddha, not my ancestor Sakyamuni." He recited the Buddha's name, "We all reach the same destination through different paths, and we are all Buddhas."

Gu Jinchao didn¡¯t understand, but Mr. Chen lowered his head and smiled, twirling the bead string with his left hand.

After the old monk finished explaining the nature of Buddha, he performed a namaste salute and left. Mr. Chen Sanye joined his hands and returned the salute.

After the abbot walked out of the reception hall, Mr. Chen walked over to her and asked her to come with him: "there is a fire pit in the inner room, which is warmer than here." Her little face was red again, the last time he saw her  Too.  This time it was even worse, she and her girl were both wet.

Gu Jinchao looked up at him, but didn't react for a moment.  Mr. Chen felt that her eyes were blank and pitiful, like a little animal that no one wanted.

Chen Sanye took the lead and walked forward. Gu Jinchao could only get up and follow.  Only a dozen guards hiding in the darkness of the Jieyin Hall emerged.

¡This is the pomp and circumstance that a second-grade official should have when dispatched.

    Gu Jinchao thought to himself.

Sakyamuni Buddha is assisting Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva on the left and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva on the right.  The fan of the inner room is opened on the right hand side of Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, and there is a hot kang inside. There is a kang table on the kang, which is simply and cleanly arranged.

Chen Sanye first sat on one side of the kang table, and with a gesture of his hand, asked her to sit on the other side: "Don't be formal, this is a quiet place in Buddhism. The snow won't stop for a while, so don't freeze."  ¡±

He called Jiang Yan in again and told him: "the temple has newly ground soy milk today, go get a pot."

Jiang Yan accepted the promise and left. Chen Yanyun took a Buddhist scripture on the Kang table and read it.  The fan was papered with Korean paper. Although it was light-transmitting, it was snowing heavily outside and the sky was dark and indifferent, so it was not bright.  The guard came in lighting a pine oil lamp.

Gu Jinchao didn¡¯t even know what to say, so he had to finish everything.  She waved to Qing Pu to sit down as well. Although her clothes were wet, it was not easy to change at all. She didn't even dare to take off her cloak.  She wanted to see how hard it was snowing outside. If she didn't go back, Feng would definitely send someone to come find her But such a scene couldn't be justified in any case!

Although Mr. Chen was reading a book, he was also paying attention to her actions.

She seemed a little unable to sit still and always looked outside with a very hesitant expression.

He closed the book and said gently: "You are going back in the snow now. Clothes are not a big deal. This is halfway up the mountain. What if you slip and fall? Don't worry about who you came with. I sent Master Zhike  Just go and let me know."

Gu Jinchao whispered, and soon Master Zhike went out holding an umbrella.

"Master Zhike knows the road well, it's better than a little girl like you wandering around." Mr. Chen San said.

Gu Jinchao had no choice but to remain silent.

Jiang Yan brought a pot of soy milk in and then carried a fire into the inner room.  He put the soy milk on the fire until it was steaming hot, then poured it into a bowl and handed it to Gu Jinchao before saying helloI can¡¯t even replace my grandfather¡¯s.  He made it clear in official circles that he had just arrived at the Chen family, knew nothing, and had done many wrong things. Mr. Chen never even criticized her, but he tolerated it silently.

She said: "You do one good deed every day? I don't think you are a soft-hearted person Do you really believe in Buddhism?"

Of course he is not a soft-hearted person. A soft-hearted person cannot be in his current position.  On the contrary, he must be countless times harder than others. Chen Sanye pondered for a moment and told her: "I naturally believe in Buddha The Dharma Nature Buddha is in my heart. I believe in myself, which means I believe in Buddha."

Gu Jinchao had nothing to say.  Religion is just a pretense, and if Mr. Chen wants to protect himself, he can only hide his strength and bide his time.  And he has a very strong and firm self in his heart. He does not need to believe in Buddhism, it is enough to believe in himself.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
