Jin Chao saw Gu Dezhao coming out and stood up to greet him.

His expression was very calm: "Last night you led the nursing staff to capture Yuping at Chuihua Gate?"

Jin Chao saluted and said, "My daughter just wants to ask the matter clearly. In case Aunt Song makes trouble, she should be more prepared. Yuping is fine in Dongcijian now. Father, do you want to go and see it?"

Gu Dezhao waved his hand and said to her: "That's it, you are a boudoir girl after all, please don't do such things again."

Gu Jinchao just smiled and responded. Her father's words were never of any use to her. How could Gu Dezhao understand what she was doing.

She bowed down and sent her father off.

Mother Xu came from the verandah carrying a cup of Codonopsis pilosula, wolfberry, black chicken soup, and said to Jin Chao: "Miss, Madam didn't come in enough at noon. My slave made the soup, why don't you serve it to Madam" Jin Chao nodded,  He took the soup from Xu's mother's hand and stepped into the west room.

Mrs. Ji was leaning on the fan, looking at the lush vegetation outside, the golden crows sinking in the west, and the orange sunlight falling on the window lattice.  Her thin face looked even more sallow when she rested on the big red and gold pillow.  Jin Chao brought the porcelain cup over, smiled, took his mother's hand, and asked her, "Have you and your father settled down? As long as you have a clear conversation, it won't be a big deal after all."

Ji smiled and looked straight at Jin Chao, with a strange light in her eyes.

She nodded and opened her mouth, but no sound came out. Her throat seemed to be choked.

Jin Chao didn't notice. She put the soup in a bowl and scooped it out to feed Ji.

Mrs. Ji drank it with a smile. The soup went into her mouth without any taste at all.  But she kept drinking until she finished the bowl of soup.  Jin Chao felt relieved. His mother could still drink the soup. She must have made an agreement with her father. Her mother didn't seem to be depressed anymore.

Mrs. Ji held onto the hem of Jin Chao's clothes tightly. When Jin Chao was about to stand up, she realized that her mother was holding the hem of her skirt. She couldn't help but smile: "You want me to stay here with you?"

But Ji shook her head, and then she heard herself speak: "You didn't sleep a wink last night, and you stayed with me for another day Go back and rest first." Her voice was light and airy.

Jin Chao was indeed tired. She had been busy all day and night without closing her eyes. Her head hurt like iron and she was very dizzy.  If she hadn't thought that her father and mother hadn't finished speaking, she would have been unable to hold on.  She glanced at her mother again and found that she was still smiling lightly, so she said, "Then I will go back first and come to greet you tomorrow morning."

Ji nodded and watched Jin Chao turn around and walk to the door.

If she goes out, she won¡¯t be able to see her!

Ji suddenly became nervous and called out again: "Sister Chao!"

Jin Chao turned back and smiled: "Is there anything else, mother?"

Mrs. Ji didn¡¯t know why she had to stop her, but she looked at her carefully and finally smiled at her: ¡°Have a good rest, you¡¯ll be fine after a nap.¡±

Jin Chao nodded and stepped out of the door.

Mrs. Ji kept watching Jin Chao disappear, her eyes hurt as she kept looking.

Xu's mother came in from outside the door and asked her tentatively: "Madam, you are tired today, why not take a rest early. As for Yuping and the two girls just let me handle it." After that, she called Mo Yu to come in and serve.  Ji washed herself and then carried her to the bed.

Mo Yu tucked Ji in bed.  Mrs. Ji remained silent. When Xu's mother came over to blow out the lamp, she whispered to Xu's mother: "When brother Rong comes back, you have to tell him and ask him to listen to his eldest sister"

Mother Xu smiled, held her hand and said, "Madam, what you said is true, are you thinking wildly again? The eldest young master will be back in a month. If you tell him face to face, it will be more effective than what I said."

Ji shook her head and murmured in her voice: "Sister Chao is already so capable but I still want her to take care of me. She has been busy with this for so long, but I still can't argue It's really  ¡¡±

After hearing this, Mrs. Xu felt a little confused: "Madam, what happened? But what did the master say?"

But Mrs. Ji closed her eyes and said, "I'm tired, you go out first"

Mother Xu saw her closing her eyes, but she couldn't speak any more.  He left a lamp in the inner room and retreated with Mo Yu.

It was not completely dark outside yet. Ji opened her eyes. She looked at the Chengchen sculpture on the top of the bed, which had the portrait of Xianglu Shouxi carved on it, and sighed slowly.  Her throat started to feel itchy again, and she couldn't help coughing violently.  Not wanting to disturb the people outside, she covered her mouth tightly with the quilt and huddled up in discomfort.  When she calmed down, sheIt was as if nothing that supported her was gone.

Seeing Jin Chao so sad, she couldn't help but cry: "How could Madam be so upset This He's gone now, what will you do, what will the eldest young master do! Even if she is really discouraged by him  You shouldn¡¯t, shouldn¡¯t die like this!¡±

Gu Jinchao looked at Xu¡¯s mother blankly, and it took a long time before he seemed to understand Xu¡¯s mother¡¯s words.

She grabbed Mother Xu¡¯s hand and asked her: ¡°Mother Xu, did mother say anything to you last night?¡±

Xu's mother burst into tears: "Last night last night, the lady told the slave that she and the master could not argue. The slave thought that she had heard wrong. Now think about it, it must be something the master and the wife said yesterday that made the lady act like this.  ¡¡±

"Miss, you don't know. The master has been alienating the madam over the years and has misunderstood her very much. In the case of Dahuang last time, it was clear that the madam was harmed by Aunt Song, but the master thought it was the madam who made trouble, saying that she was used to making trouble.  I want to drag you with me to make a fuss. I have always suspected that Madam harmed Yunxiang, and with Yu Ping¡¯s explanation, I will definitely fight for Yunxiang and Madam Madam must feel alive after being insulted like this.  I can¡¯t go on anymore.¡± (Remember this website¡¯s website address: www.hlnovel.com
