Luke laughed at the door of the store.

That was a conversation mixed with a lot of Mexican Spanish. God knows which illegal immigrant was on the phone.

"Little G could only continue to change another line, and this time there was finally a long beep sound.

He was overjoyed and quickly dialed a number: "Catherine, it's so great to hear your voice again. You can't believe what we have gone through. Well, the devil knows what we have gone through"

After a while, the three of them came back with relaxed expressions.

Nick smiled and said: "Okay, the patrol police and the forensic doctor are here. Listen, Shirley, Slick, you have to go back to the station and make a record."

The boss¡¯s wife and the clerk acted as if they didn¡¯t hear anything, and remained sticky there. They even spoke back and made a ¡°bias¡± sound.

Not long after, the patrol police and forensic doctors arrived.

After asking a few questions, the patrol officer was ready to take the two sticky middle-aged men and women back.

Luke stopped them: "Wait a minute." Everyone looked at him.

He raised his finger and pointed at the wood-burning stove for barbecue in the restaurant: "Officer, I think you'd better go and take a look at that stove with the forensic examiner. There seems to be something abnormal in it. Find it out and ask the proprietress and the clerk when you go back.  "

The patrolman looked at him doubtfully, and a capable blonde woman over there spoke: "I'll do it."

Nick: "Catherine, let me help you."

It was only then that Luke realized that this blonde woman had the same name as his aunt.

After a while, a burned skeleton emerged from the charcoal ashes in the stove, and everyone looked at the proprietress.

Shirley stood up in fright: "It's none of my business. I didn't even know this was there."

Everyone¡¯s eyes turned to Slick next to her.

Slick quickly shook his head: "I don't know, I'm just a store clerk, okay."

Everyone: You two look like a cheap couple!

More than an hour later, everyone returned to the forensic center with expressions of relief on their faces.

It¡¯s only been half a day today, and what happened was so bizarre.

Luke also joined in the fun and went to the autopsy room. When he entered the door, he saw a short old man with prosthetic legs and silver beard and hair. He was listening to country music with a cane and a TV next to him.  The espresso machine is working.

    He felt inexplicably familiar.

Just then, Old G also came over. When he saw Luke just nodded without saying anything, he went to find the old forensic doctor: "Al, where is the report I want?"

Old forensic doctor Al: "Over there, go get it yourself. Well, why don't you come and have a drink?"

Old G didn¡¯t refuse. He took a small cup of freshly ground coffee handed over by Al, tasted it leisurely, and asked casually: ¡°This coffee machine is good, where did it come from?¡±

Al also leisurely tasted the coffee in his hand: "I applied to purchase it in the name of the autopsy room."

Old G was full of doubts: "Can you still buy a coffee machine at public expense?"

This is a high-quality espresso machine, definitely not a necessity, and the autopsy room is divided into different areas.

There are only four forensic doctors in Al's autopsy room. How can we provide them with such expensive coffee machines?

Al smiled faintly and took another sip of coffee: "No one wants to know what the forensic doctor bought."

    Old g:

    Nick:¡¡

    Luke:¡¡

After watching for a while and watching Old G about to leave, Luke finally couldn't help but asked the old forensic doctor: "Dr. Robbins, do you know a forensic doctor named Mars? He should be in Texas.  Working as a forensic doctor in a small town."

Al looked thoughtful, and nodded after a moment: "If his name is Mars Kubrick, then he should be my former student, but after he finished his internship with me, we haven't seen each other for a long time.  "

Luke smiled and nodded: "Yeah, sure enough."

Al: "How do you know him?"

Luke knew that what the old forensic doctor actually meant was how he knew that the two were connected.

He explained with a smile: ¡°Because every morning when he goes to work, he has to drink a cup of freshly ground coffee and listen to music before he officially starts work.¡±

Alhehe: "Unfortunately, he must have paid for his coffee machine with his own money. He is still like thathehe." There was still a tone in his tone.?A bit of mixed emotions.

Luke no longer disturbs Al's forensic work. He is also a technical expert. Old G's attitude towards Al is obviously very equal, much better than his boss.

Of course he must respect this old forensic doctor.

After coming out of the autopsy room, Luke said goodbye to Old G.

Old G is already investigating the case of the model killer and has no time to accompany him anymore, so he can only agree to see him again before leaving.

Luke agreed and took Selina out.

Old G was in the office, looking at Luke walking to the elevator. After thinking for a while, he dialed Nick's phone: "Hey, it's me. Did you pay attention to my nephew's behavior today? It's okay. Remember to call him  Write a score report on what you did today and give it to me, and do some psychological analysis. What? This is not your official job, it is a test for you. Just take the time to do it"

Here, Luke glanced back at Old G's office, which had been obscured by other laboratories. With a slight smile on his face, he shook his head slightly and walked into the elevator with Selina.

At this moment, it is already four o'clock in the afternoon.

We set off from the forensic center at 9:30 in the morning, and it took almost six hours to walk around Henry¡¯s pig hiding place and back.

Selena is in a pretty good mood. She played a prank today, encountered two weird and bizarre cases, and saw how a woman forcibly kisses a man. She is very satisfied.

But her stomach was really empty: "Honey, I'm hungry. I want to eat barbecue, and pork chops are the best."

Luke smiled and nodded: "Let's go back to the hotel to eat, and then we'll go to the entertainment hall to play."

While the two were talking, they took a taxi and returned to the Aurora Hotel.

Although Selena said she wanted to eat grilled pork chops, she ended up eating a special offer of lobster, French baked snails, croissants, onion soup, and fruit platter before she stopped with satisfaction.

Luke paid the bill, smiled and hugged Selena, who was in a limp state after eating, and the two went to the entertainment hall.

Selena didn¡¯t want to move, so she chose a slot machine and sat down.

Neither of them cared about what the slot machine looked like, but the chair was the most comfortable one around, and it was just convenient for someone to slump on it.

Luke looked at the slot machine and pointed to an electronic display on the slot machine with a smile: "See, the grand prize is nine hundred and seventy-three thousand six hundred and sixty-two dollars. If you swipe it out, you will get rich."  .¡±

Selena is not that interested, let alone that naive: "I'm not that stupid. These money were thrown in by people who wanted to win the jackpot before. Just let me sit here and you go and have fun." (  Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
