Luo Ke looked at the leaving figures of the two skinny children, his brows furrowed. The little girl's breath was as weak as a weak candle flame, as if it would be extinguished if the wind blew.

Luo Ke shook his head. There are too many people in this world who have difficult things. Some people's lives are like this, but Luo Ke can't control them.

It was still a bit heavy but Luo Ke found the cleanest and most luxurious hotel in the town. After looking at the flowers, grass, mountains and rivers for a while, Luo Ke came to his senses and relaxed a little.

Luo Ke also landed in this small town because he was very hungry. Otherwise, Luo Ke¡¯s first choice would have been to land in a big city, so he ordered a lot of food.

What surprises Luo Ke is that the taste of the food here is no different from that in big cities, and is even fresher.

Luo Ke asked why. The middle-aged man who looked like a boss saw that Luo was not an ordinary person, so he didn¡¯t dare to neglect him and replied directly:

"Your Majesty, you don't know. The spirit beast meat here was picked up by the people in our town at the entrance of Fuyao Cave, and they are all spirit beasts with rare blood. These spirit beast meats were bought by our hotel.  No matter how it is cooked, the food made with it will never lose its characteristic: fresh, fragrant and tender!¡±

The boss seemed to be excited when he said this. He directly made a stool, sat in front of Luo Ke, and continued to say to Luo Ke:

"Although our restaurant is not big, its name is not only resounding in the town, but also people from thousands of miles around come here to serve our food!"

The boss looked proud. Luo Ke had no ill feelings towards this careless boss. He thought it was quite opportunistic, so he said to the boss:

"Boss, what is the demon-subduing cave you are talking about?"

Luo Ke spread his hands, he was full, but he overestimated his appetite, and there was still a lot left to eat, so he felt comfortable chatting with the boss.

When the boss heard Luo Ke ask about the Yao Fu Cave, he turned around and looked at the surrounding environment vigilantly. He found that no one was deliberately observing the two of them, so the boss mysteriously moved his body forward and faced Luo Ke.  Said softly:

"This Demon-Subduing Cave! It's a taboo in the town. You must never say it openly like this in this town!"

Luo Ke was even more curious and said:

"What? Is there anything else to say here?"

"That's a big statement. Do you know how many people died in our small town in Fuyao Cave?"

"This is nearly the twentieth person who has died this year! Everyone died in a miserable state. I have only seen five or six corpses, but it scared me!"

The boss asked and answered his own questions, and he was obviously a talkative and skillful speaker.

Luo Ke took out a napkin from the table, wiped his mouth, and took over what the boss said:

"What a miserable death? I've seen a lot of disgusting things. How miserable can you tell me?"

Luo Ke had a calm expression on his face. He really didn¡¯t think that one or two corpses could scare him.

The boss seemed unwilling to recall it and looked disgusted, but he finally said:

"I see that you have finished eating, so I will tell you with compassion! The expressions on their faces when they died were not actually painful, but rather a kind of enjoyment."

    "Oh? Are you confused?"

    Luo Ke guessed.

"A few days ago, a Taoist priest came to the town. He claimed that he had great magical powers and was capable of killing demons and other things. So he showed us the money we spent in the town. He said almost the same thing as you, he also said that he was attacked by monsters.  Confused."

The boss said, feeling that Luo Ke was indeed someone who had seen the world.

    "Then what?"

    Luo Ke asked.

"Then? Then we went to the doctor in a hurry and asked the Taoist priest to help us slay the demons. The old Taoist priest asked

It cost us a lot of money. In our small town, the mayor took the lead and it took a long time to get enough.  "

Speaking of which, the boss slammed the table, startling Luo Ke.

    The boss said angrily:

"I didn't expect that people's hearts are so evil, that damn Taoist priest turned out to be a big liar!"

    "Why do you say that?"

Luo Ke poured himself a glass of juice provided for free in the hotel, took a big sip and said.

"The old Taoist priest took the money and said he was going to catch monsters, but who knew heRan away and never came back!  "

The boss was banging on the table as he spoke, looking very angry.

Luo Ke finished the juice and poured himself another glass. He had just finished his meal and was indeed a little thirsty.

"Then is it possible that he died in the Demon Fu Cave? You have to think of the good things!"

    Luo Ke said.

The boss was shocked!  The fingers tapping on the table also stopped. Why didn't he think of this possibility?

Maybe it¡¯s because they have spent so much money, and if this is the result, they have no place to complain.

After Luo Ke finished speaking, he patted his boss on the shoulder and said:

"It's human nature. It's understandable that you think this way. After all, you spent so much money. Just keep talking about those corpses!"

The boss is also an open-minded person. After Luo Ke said this, his mood improved and he gave up after a haha. He continued to talk about the corpses:

"Those corpses! There are tiny holes all over their bodies. It seems like a lot of bugs have got into the bodies of those people. All the muscles, hearts, blood, etc. inside have been eaten away, leaving only some  The skeleton of the body and the filthy entrails!¡±

"What! Are these bugs still picky about food?"

Luo Ke said jokingly as he looked at the boss's description of dancing and talking weirdly.

"Alas! Little brother, you are so big-hearted. I don't know if you are really capable or if you just have such an optimistic personality? Did you drive that small shuttle?"

Luo Ke nodded. In fact, this boss is a person with general knowledge. He knows that Luo Ke is not a simple person. After talking to Luo Ke so much, he just wants to make friends with Luo Ke.

Luo Ke also had a slight liking for the boss, so he became half a friend of the boss. However, this was just the most ordinary friend who met by chance. Maybe if Luo Ke left, he would never see him again for the rest of his life.

    "Little brother, what's your name?"

The boss asked with a smile.

"Oh! My name is Luo Ke."

After Luo Ke finished speaking, he stood up. It was almost time and it was time for him to leave!

After Luo Ke paid the money, he said goodbye to the boss.

After walking out of the door, the boss's behavior puzzled Luo Ke. The boss put all Luo Ke's food on a big plate.

Luo Ke doesn¡¯t understand what the boss is doing?  This boss doesn¡¯t lack much money either!  Because the meal just now was not too cheap. The boss who runs a restaurant like this must be someone who is not short of money, which is enough for the boss to survive in this small town.

Luo Ke wanted to see what the boss wanted to do from a distance. After waiting for a while, he found that the boss walked out of the restaurant with the food and placed the plate with the food at the door of the hotel.

As soon as it was put on the plate, several children went to grab the food from the plate!  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
