Life seems to have been reversed.

It was obviously not a major event that caused a sensation in the whole city, but it became a household name overnight. The media exaggerated it and various tabloids made it astonishing.

During that time, news of Bai Yu¡¯s suicide could be seen everywhere. It was overwhelming and made Bai Lu unable to breathe.

What is even more unbearable is the pointing fingers behind everyone's back. Maybe they have no ill intentions, but are just adhering to the curiosity and gossip inherent in human nature. But to Bai Lu, it is like falling from the clouds into a deep valley, and still getting caught.  Covered in mud.

Throughout the entire semester of her senior year of high school, Bai Lu didn't like to smile very much. She was immersed in studying and solving problems all day long. Her whole body temperament also became cold and cold, making people afraid to approach her.

It wasn¡¯t until she graduated and left Lin City that Bai Lu began to slowly return to normal. She was originally a well-rounded person. Except for occasionally being too lazy to socialize, she could get along well with others.

But, I will never open my heart to accept others again.

When Jing Yan came in, Bai Lu was in a daze. His mobile phone was thrown on top of the quilt. The soft quilt pressed it into a ball. The phone was black and shiny from the inside out.

He walked over to pick it up, clicked on it, and saw that Bai Lu had not yet exited the communication software.

"Why did you break your phone?" he asked casually while looking through it.

"It broke when it fell to the ground." Bai Lu lowered her eyes and answered dully.

Jing Yan paused in the sliding movement of his fingers.

The chat window between her and Zhao Yan is at the top.

Jing Yan moved his eyes to look at Bai Lu, his voice was a little strange.

"You saw someone jumping off a building today?"

    "Yeah." She responded softly.

"That's when the phone was dropped, I guess." Jing Yan looked at her with complicated eyes.

"Yeah." Bai Lu responded again, nodding this time.

Jing Yan put away his phone and was speechless for a moment.

After a moment, he said again.

¡°I¡¯ll buy one for you later.¡±

    "good."

After Jing Yan finished speaking, he turned around and was about to leave. Bai Lu suddenly stretched out her hand to hold him. She raised her head, her eyes were gleaming with water, and she looked pitiful.

    "Where are you going?"

    ¡°¡Turn off the computer.¡±

"Oh." Bai Lu let go of his clothes, and Jing Yan rubbed her head.  "good."

His figure disappeared at the door. Bai Lu hugged her knees and sat on the bed, resting her chin on it and frowning as she thought about something.

In just a few minutes, countless thoughts flashed through her mind. While Bai Lu was deep in thought, she heard a noise coming from the door. She raised her eyes and saw Jing Yan hunched over and waving to her.

    "come over."

"What are you doing" Bai Lu slowly got out of bed and walked over.

"I'll take you to watch a movie." Jing Yan took her hand and walked to the next room.  The place was decorated in the style of a home theater when they first moved in, but the two of them didn't spend much time watching movies together.

There were no lights on in the room, but it was not dark at all. The light of the bright stars in the sky passed through the transparent ceiling and illuminated most of the corners.

A starry sky envelopes the entire room, making people feel like they are in a free and vast land in the wild.

This was not the first time Bai Lu saw this scene, but she was still instantly amazed.

The projector in the room is on, and the wall projection screen is emitting fluorescent white light. There is only a large bed in the medium-sized space, with several pillows scattered on it, which looks warm and soft.

Next to the bed is a wooden table with glasses and red wine on it. A bouquet of fresh roses is placed on it, exuding a faint fragrance.

Jing Yan pushed Bai Lu onto the bed and started playing the movie.

The title slowly loaded, and the picture was very fresh and beautiful. Bai Lu adjusted her body and leaned on the bed comfortably holding the pillow.

Jing Yan came over, poured her a glass of red wine, and handed it to her.

After a brief sip, she found it was rich and sweet, but bitter on the tip of her tongue, and a trace of alcohol came in, making her slightly dizzy.

Jing Yan pulled away the thin quilt and wrapped it around the two of them, holding her in his arms and watching the movie quietly.

Time passed little by little, and the red wine in the glass had bottomed out. Bai Lu put it into Jing Yan's hand. He asked silently, and Bai Lu shook her head.

    "No, I'm dizzy."

"Why are you such a bad drinker" He said in a low voice, just put down his glass, and lay down on the bed with her in his arms.

The air-conditioning in the room was fully turned on, and it was just right for the two of them to cuddle up together under the quilt, feelingAfter disappearing, the room became a degree darker, and the two of them lingered tenderly on the bed under the stars.

The next day Bai Lu had returned to normal, but after two nights of moisturizing, her complexion looked much better. The softness of a woman was mixed with her unique coldness, making people reluctant to look away.

While waiting for the traffic light to turn green, Jing Yan stared at her and smiled again.

"What are you doing?" Bai Lu asked speechlessly, moving the hand that was tightly held by him.  However, even in the mere few dozen seconds of parking, he still had to reach over and hold her hand tightly, and then look at her and smile lovingly.

    This person is probably crazy.

"Look at you." Jing Yan said with a smile, his voice was low and magnetic, as gentle as the breeze in March, slowly blowing through Bai Lu's heart.

"Does it look good?" Bai Lu looked at him, half-smiling.

    "nice."

    "How beautiful is it?"

¡°She¡¯s more beautiful than any woman I¡¯ve seen in my thirty years of life.¡±

Bai Lu immediately broke through and burst into laughter.

"The light is green, drive well." She withdrew her hand neatly.

As usual, the car stopped at an intersection not far from the TV station. Bai Lu unbuckled her seat belt and wanted to get out of the car, but Jing Yan held her hand and didn't let go, his dark eyes staring at her with obvious meaning.

Bai Lu reluctantly leaned over and kissed him gently on the lips.

When she stood up and was about to leave, Jing Yan immediately put his hand on her back and deepened the kiss.

After struggling for a long time, Bai Lu was finally let go. Panting and calming her breathing, Bai Lu moved her eyes outside the car, but saw a familiar shadow from the corner of her eye.

Bai Lu was stunned suddenly.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
