The rumble of the tank¡¯s engine tore through the darkness and reached the ears of these Japanese soldiers.

Along with the sound of the tank engine, there was also the sharp whistling sound of the artillery shells flying in the air.

On a slope not far away, more than a dozen tanks were fiercely bombarding the Japanese position at the arsenal.

It is not very difficult to find the Japanese army's position in the arsenal, especially the Third Tank Regiment equipped with night vision goggles.

The night vision device they are equipped with is a new type of night vision device that Xia Yang purchased from the Huangsha Baizhan System.  These night vision devices are produced in the United States in the 21st century. They are expensive but have excellent performance.

Using this night vision device to see things in the dark is basically not much different from during the day.

    ¡°Boom!!!!¡±

The shells of the tank guns bombarded the Japanese army's forward position in the arsenal. Also bombarded were the Japanese army's bunkers.

In order to protect the vital arsenal, the Japanese army built a large number of bunkers around the arsenal.

These bunkers are equipped with flat-firing guns and Type 89 heavy machine guns.  It is made of reinforced concrete and has strong defensive capabilities.

Especially the Type 89 heavy machine gun, which is a heavy machine gun specially installed by the Japanese army on bunkers and fighter jets.  It uses a belt to feed ammunition, and has much greater firepower continuity than the Type 92 heavy machine gun.

After all, the Type 92 heavy machine gun uses a spring plate to feed ammunition. Each spring plate has thirty rounds of bullets, and the bullets must be loaded after firing.

"Enter the position and launch flares!!"

The Japanese commander responded very quickly. He decisively gave up supporting the airport and chose to protect the arsenal first.

After all, the arsenal behind them stores ammunition and weapons supplies for the two Japanese divisions, so there cannot be any mistakes.

The two Japanese squadron soldiers guarding the arsenal directly entered their positions outside the arsenal, and used bunkers to build a solid line of defense in the blink of an eye.

    "Whizzing!!!"

A few rounds of illumination bombs were launched high into the sky in the blink of an eye.  Takeuchi Lian, the Japanese squadron leader who was in charge of the battle command here, held a telescope and saw in the field not far away that advancing tanks and infantry hidden behind the tanks could be seen everywhere.

This attacking force was large in number, at least more than a thousand.  Moreover, this unit was also equipped with a large number of tanks, and Takeuchi Lian's nerves suddenly became tense.

"Inform the commander of the company about the situation on our side. Each unit is relying on the bunker group to carry out resistance at all levels. At the same time, order a small group of people to go to the arsenal immediately to mobilize the flat-firing artillery to deal with these tanks." Takeuchi Lian  shouted loudly.

There are flat-firing cannons in their bunkers, but the number of flat-firing cannons is very limited.  On the contrary, there are many flat-firing cannons in the arsenal.

Those flat-fire artillery were intended to be shipped to the Japanese divisions fighting in Outer Mongolia, because they were very likely to face a large-scale armored group attack by the Soviets.

The Japanese army knew the level of their own tanks, but they were completely incompetent in front of the Soviet tanks.  Therefore, they recruited a large number of flat-firing cannons from the country. At this time, there were hundreds of flat-firing cannons, which were stocked in this arsenal.

Liu Fudong used a telescope to look at the Japanese bunkers on the hillside, and then ordered: "Act according to the established plan and don't give the enemy a chance to breathe."

    "Yes! Travel seat!"

The soldiers charging on the front line, under the cover of tank fire, were getting closer to the Japanese position.

¡°The Japanese army did not even dare to raise their heads from the trench due to the suppressed firepower of dozens of tank guns.  Even so, many people were blown directly into the sky by cannonballs falling from the sky.

But the Japanese bunkers would not be greatly affected by artillery fire.  As long as they were not unlucky enough to have a tank gun shell hit the inside of the bunker along the firing hole, they could use the heavy machine guns and flat cannons inside to suppress the charging tanks and infantry below.

The infantrymen of the Third Tank Regiment were hiding behind the tanks at this time and did not dare to show their heads easily.  After all, the Japanese army's seven or eight bunkers, with their intertwined firepower net of machine guns, were still very intimidating.

Some soldiers who were not well hidden were directly injured by heavy machine gun bullets, and even lost their lives.

"Is the sniper team in place?" Liu Fudong asked on the intercom.

In order to cooperate with their operations, the sniper team sent specialized snipers.  Especially the Third Tank Regiment, because the target of the attack was an important arsenal, five snipers were dispatched to support their operations.

"Zhao Tiancheng of the sniper team is already in position, preparing to attack the enemy's key firepower points such as heavy machine guns."

Zhao Tiancheng whispered into the walkie-talkie, and then held his breath and concentrated on the hillside, pointing the muzzle of the gun at the shooting hole of the Japanese bunker.

Through advanced equipment, they can complete extremely accurate sniping at night.

Soon, Zhao Tiancheng's gun was locked on a Japanese heavy machine gunner.

The Japanese machine gun bunker was set up in a relatively high place.  If it is an attack from above, there is actually a large area that is a blind spot for shooting. It is difficult for the infantry charging below to threaten these heavy machine gunners hidden in the bunker.

And Zhao Tiancheng and his sniper team were on another hillside more than 600 meters away.  Their position is basically on the same level as the shooting holes of the Japanese bunkers.

So they can carry out long-range fire strikes against the people inside the Japanese bunkers at this distance.

    "middle!"

With these words in his mind, Zhao Tiancheng pulled the trigger without hesitation.

The bullet shot out from the barrel of the gun, passed through the night sky illuminated by flares and artillery fire, and entered the body of the Japanese machine gunner with incomparable accuracy.

Not long after he fired, other snipers in the sniper team also began to launch precise strikes against the Japanese troops hidden in the bunker.

The heavy machine guns of the Japanese army on the frontal position actually misfired in half under a round of fire from snipers.

And taking advantage of this opportunity, the infantry began to advance rapidly.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
