Cui Ronghua was so shocked that he spit out his tea.

    Can¡¯t?

Prince Cheng raised a son outside?  Just talk nonsense!

Cui Shiren saw that Cui Ronghua was choking, so he quickly took a handkerchief to help her wipe her mouth, and muttered: "What's wrong? It's so good, why are you choking?"

Cui Ronghua took Cui Shiren's hand and shook it: "Brother, did you hear what the storyteller said?"

Cui Shiren asked: "What are you talking about?"

Cui Ronghua lowered his voice and said, "It is said that Prince Cheng has a son outside."

Cui Shiren laughed when he heard this, "How true are the words of this storyteller? The stories they tell are all made up, and they are just for fun, so you take them seriously."

After he finished speaking, he poured Cui Ronghua another cup of tea and warned carefully: "Drink carefully, don't choke again."

Cui Ronghua took the tea and drank it.

He pricked up his ears again, thinking about what the storyteller would say next.  Unexpectedly, the speaker moistened his throat with water and was about to continue speaking when a group of city guards came in with knives and directly arrested the storyteller. The commander put the knife against the storyteller's neck and said in a cold voice: "Criticism  Royal, who ordered you?"

The storyteller was so frightened that his voice trembled: "Master, please forgive me, I am the one who talks too much. Don't worry, I will never dare to talk again!"

The commander¡¯s eyes turned cold and he hummed, ¡°Since you won¡¯t say anything, fine, take him away.¡±

Except for the storyteller, all the people related to the teahouse were arrested. As for the tea guests, they were kicked out. Cui Shiren saw that something was wrong, so he took Cui Ronghua and avoided it early, quietly left the teahouse and got on the carriage.

Cui Shiren said to Cui Ronghua with a serious face: "Ronghua, forget what happened just now, and don't mention it again in the future."

Cui Ronghua nodded: "I know, brother."

After that, the two of them had no intention of shopping anymore and went directly to the bookstore. Cui Shiren picked out a few books that he wanted to use. Cui Ronghua didn't have any particular books he wanted. There was a study room at home with all kinds of books.  While Cui Shiren was picking out books, Cui Ronghua was so idle that he walked around the bookstore. Unknowingly, he walked to the corner and saw a pile of old books.

Since you are here, let¡¯s take a look.

Cui Ronghua knelt down and started looking through old books, old stories, wild histories, broken Four Books and Five Classics, everything.

Cui Ronghua opened a book of unofficial history and wanted to take a quick look at it to see what it was writing. Unexpectedly, he couldn't stop after reading it. The events of the previous dynasty were quite interesting.

Cui Ronghua watched for a while, his legs were sore from squatting.  She thought about it and felt that she was so stupid. Why did she squat here and read it? She could just buy the book back.

Cui Ronghua picked a few unofficial histories and a few travel notes. These books were old, but the pages were still neat, so they were pretty good.

Cui Ronghui took the old books and asked the shopkeeper: "Shopkeeper, how do you sell these books?"

"One book and two taels. Let me see how many books there are. Oh, six books, twelve taels." The shopkeeper said.

    It¡¯s really not expensive.

Cui Ronghua gave the money and took the book. When he saw Cui Shiren chatting with a young man, he returned to the carriage by himself.  Well, the main reason is that it is convenient to read books while sitting in the carriage!

Cui Ronghua put the book aside, picked up the unofficial history book that he had not finished reading before, and read it with gusto.

After the meeting, Cui Shiren finally came back, "I just met a classmate, so I wasted a little time."

Cui Ronghua didn¡¯t even raise his head: ¡°It¡¯s okay.¡±

Cui Shiren saw her staring at the book in a trance, so he smiled and asked: "What book is this?"

Cui Ronghua said: "Interesting book, brother, should we go home now?"

Cui Shiren nodded: "Yes, Ronghua, do you want to eat something? I'll buy it for you."

"I want candied chestnuts, roast chicken, and braised beef from Dongfeng Restaurant. I want it cut into slices" Cui Ronghua wasn't hungry at first, but he started to drool as he spoke.

"What's the sound?" Cui Shiren suddenly asked.

Cui Ronghua wiped his mouth and grunted, "I'm hungry."

Cui Shiren smiled: "So it's you who swallowed the saliva."

Cui Ronghua snorted and opened the window: "Where are you? I remember that Dongfeng Restaurant is not far from the teahouse."

Cui Shiren seemed to hear the sound of swallowing again. He glanced at Cui Ronghua again. It seemed that his sister was really hungry.

"Brother, go and buy some chestnuts for me." Cui Ronghua shouted.

Cui Shiren said: "Okay, I'll go right away."

Cui Shiren got off the carriage and went to buy food for Cui Ronghua. On the way home, Cui Shiren went out four times, three times to buy food and one to buy drinks. There was a lot of stuff.

Cui Ronghua ate half a bag of sugar chestnuts and a chicken drumstick. He was about to eat beef when Cui Shiren held him down: "Don't eat any more. We have to go home for dinner in the evening. If you eat too much here,  Mom is so grateful when you get home, maybe she won¡¯t let you go out next time.¡±

Cui Ronghua touched his sixty-percent full belly and said, "I know, brother."

Cui Shiren was afraid that Cui Ronghua would not be able to keep his mouth shut, so he put the food on the stool aside.

Soon, we arrived at Cui Mansion.

When getting out of the car, Cui Ronghua held an old book in his hand and had long forgotten about the food. After the two brothers and sisters got off the carriage, the carriage was led to the backyard.

"Xiao Hei, come here quickly, the firewood deliveryman is here, come and help."

    "Okay, I'll go right away."

The boy leading the carriage hurried to help before he could unload the carriage.

    It was quiet all around.

A skinny child jumped out of the carriage. He looked around cautiously, holding a chicken drumstick in his mouth, half a roast chicken in one hand, and a lot of beef in the other.

"Where to put this firewood?" Someone came over.

    The child hid quickly.

This meat tastes good, maybe he can keep it.

"Brother, where is my beef? Why is it missing?" Cui Ronghua put the old books in his study room and then remembered that she hadn't brought the food she bought on the street. By the way, she hadn't eaten the beef yet.

    "Look again."

"It's not on the carriage. Even the leftover roast chicken is gone. Why is it gone?" Cui Ronghua couldn't find it no matter how hard he searched, not even the candied chestnuts were left.

Cui Shiren thought for a while and said, "Maybe the boy saw that we didn't take it away, so he thought he didn't want it anymore, so he ate it separately. Forget it, I'll buy it for you next time."

    Cui Ronghua is depressed.

"However, we can't blame the boys. After all, whatever the young masters and ladies in the house can't finish eating, they all share it with the maids and boys.

    well.

    The woodshed.

The skinny black kid ate all the roast chicken and beef into his stomach with satisfaction. He licked the residue on his fingers and took a deep breath. Then he took out a few golden chestnuts from his pocket and removed the outer layer of the chestnuts.  After licking all the thin candy, he bit open the shell and started eating slowly.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
