Early the next morning, Anthony woke up suddenly to the ringing of the alarm. He looked at the time on his watch. At half past five, he quickly put on his clothes, took cold bread from the refrigerator, and left the villa.  I ran towards the Pepsi Center.

Before traveling through time, Anthony respected Kobe because the latter once said this when a reporter asked him why he was so successful: Because I know what Los Angeles looks like at four in the morning.

A player's success depends very much on talent, which is very important. Otherwise, like Anthony before time travel, he can try to play in the NBA, but after entering the NBA, the player's diligence will play a major role in the player's achievements.  When it comes to playing a decisive role, the most negative example is Shawn Kemp, nicknamed "Rain Man". This All-Star player and the league's No. 1 power forward in 1996 actually gained 36 pounds before and after the NBA lockout in 1999.  Meat, from an all-star player to a supporting player in one fell swoop, is not sobering.

Although Anthony doesn¡¯t want to go to practice early in the morning like Kebi, he can still get up early and go to the arena. The six or seven kilometers from the villa to the arena just became his warm-up track.

In the early morning in Denver, a faint light is scattered from the top of the mountain in the distance, announcing that a new day is coming. The street lights on the roadside are still on. There are almost no people on the empty road, only a few homeless people at the subway entrance.  The man lay there sleeping soundly.

Denver at half past five is still asleep.

Anthony ran forward huffing and puffing, with only the sound of breathing accompanying him.

Not long after, he ran to the Pepsi Center. As soon as he arrived outside the training arena, he heard a muffled sound of "bang bang" coming from inside.

"Is there anyone earlier than me?"

Anthony showed a trace of doubt, then opened the door and walked in.

The muffled sound suddenly stopped, and Anthony also saw the person training in the arena, Boykins, who was only 1.65 meters tall.

"Hey, Melo, so early?" Boykins greeted Anthony.

"Earl, weren't you earlier?" Anthony smiled and said. From what he saw, he seemed to understand why Boykins could gain a foothold in the NBA.

"I'm used to it, and I can't sleep at this point." Boykins said and threw himself into training again.

Anthony was not behind either. He finished the bread he brought and threw himself into training.

In Anthony's memory, Carmelo Anthony didn't seem to be a person who particularly loved training, so after he came to Denver, he went to the team's trainer and asked for a set of training plans. Now he started training step by step.  .

As time passed, several players came one after another from the inside of the arena. They were all young players, including Nene, Pope, Bowen, etc. Because the prescribed training time was in the afternoon, none of the old players came. It was like a company.  It's the same as working inside, there are always new people working overtime.

?We are all newbies, and Americans are more direct when speaking, and don¡¯t have so many worries. The few of us got along very well. We practiced until noon, and a few of us got together to have a meal outside.

In the afternoon, the coaching staff came, and all the other players also came to practice several group confrontations. At the end of the day, general manager Vandeweghe also arrived at the arena. He called Bzdelik aside and chatted for a while.  I don¡¯t know what was said.

Just as everyone was leaving for dinner, Vandeweghe suddenly stopped Anthony and said he wanted to treat him to dinner.

Anthony had no reason to refuse the general manager¡¯s treat, and based on his intuition, this was definitely not a meal.

Sitting in Vandeweghe¡¯s car, Anthony was worrying about where to have dinner, but unexpectedly the car stopped in front of a Chinese restaurant.

In his astonishment, Vandeweghe asked with a smile: "Melo, I heard that you said that you like China during the draft day press conference. Have you ever tasted Chinese food?"

When Anthony heard this, he immediately became happy. How could he not love Chinese food?  However, in front of Vandeweghe, he still couldn't show it too obviously. He pondered for a moment and said with an expectant look: "Chinese food? I haven't tried this before, but today is a rare opportunity, so I really want to  try it."

"Haha, let's go here. The taste here is quite pure. I've eaten here several times before." Vandeweghe said and parked the car in the parking space in front of the store.

After getting out of the car, the two of them went to the store and sat down. A waiter soon greeted them.

The waiter was Chinese, and Anthony felt very friendly to him. However, because it was Vandeweghe who was treating the guests, Anthony pretended to be in a dilemma when ordering, and expressed his enthusiasm when he saw something he liked.Food, Vandeweghe couldn't stop praising it.

The meal was almost done, the restaurant served some fruits, and the two of them drank tea with each other.

"Mello, do you feel okay in the team?" Vandeweghe put down the tea cup, and he finally became concerned about Anthony's affairs in the team.

"It feels good." Anthony knew it was not the time for him to comment yet, so he chose not to say anything.

"Really?" Vandeweghe suddenly asked with a smile.

Anthony looked at Vandeweghe¡¯s mysterious expression and didn¡¯t know what to do.

"Actually, I also know the team's weaknesses. With such a lineup, there is still hope of making it to the playoffs, but there is still a way to go to compete for the championship." Vandeweghe said with some emotion.

"I'll be honest, but now I can't get the right bargaining chips for the transaction, and many of the team members are newcomers. If there's a trade, the boss will definitely think that I'm not doing well." Vandeweghe said meaningfully.  said.

"Qiqi, what do you want me to do when you say these words?" Anthony didn't know what Vandeweghe's intention was.

"I hope you have patience. I will work hard to build the lineup. You will definitely become the creator of Nuggets history. In a few years, you will win the first championship for the Nuggets in history." Vandeweghe  Qi said with piercing eyes that this player who spent his playing days with the Nuggets has deep feelings for his home team.

When Anthony heard this, he finally understood. It turned out that Vandeweghe invited him to dinner to calm his mind.

    "Will do."

Anthony looked at Vandeweghe and said with the same piercing eyes.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
