Jiang Yicheng was awakened by a ringtone. He opened his eyes, still sleepy. He sat up and reached for his phone, and saw a few words dancing on it.

Jiang Yicheng's sleepiness immediately dissipated for the most part. After answering, he put the phone to his ear but did not speak.

"Mr. Jiang." Lu Jingchuan's voice came, "I heard that you want to meet my son?"

"Yeah." Jiang Yicheng lowered his eyes and looked at the color of the quilt. His tone was calm and without any fluctuation, "I don't know if it's inconvenient for Mr. Lu. If it's not convenient, I can go over and see Jin Yi."

Lu Jingchuan chuckled softly, "Mr. Jiang, I just have time today, so I can bring Jin Yi over to see you in person, but it's just late"

Lu Jingchuan glanced at Qingwan who was sitting aside. She was wearing beige home clothes and her long hair was hanging down. She was like a distant and quiet ink painting, moisturizing her things silently, but making people unable to look away.

Lu Jingchuan held the little guy on his lap with one hand, and the slightly raised corners of his mouth showed a trace of pleasure, " Qingwan has something else to do and can't come to see you."

Jiang Yicheng's hand holding the phone suddenly exerted force, and the place where the hand touched the phone turned white. He was silent for a few seconds, and then spoke again. There was nothing strange in his voice, "I don't know if Mr. Lu has time at noon. If so,  As for the time, let¡¯s set it at noon.¡±

"Of course I have time." Lu Jingchuan said, deliberately turning his head to look at Qingwan, and said softly, "Qingwan, please bring me the book on the bedside table. I want to read it later."

Qing Wan was slightly stunned, and soon realized that Lu Jingchuan did this on purpose. He had never said this to her before. It must be because he was talking to Jiang Yicheng today and wanted to use this to attack Jiang Yicheng.

Qingwan only felt angry and funny, and a touch of depression filled her heart.

She stood up and said in a moderate voice: "Okay, I will help you get it."

Jiang Yicheng heard Qingwan's voice faintly coming from the other end of the phone, his eyebrows furrowed tightly, and bursts of tearing pain appeared in his heart.

Seeing Qing Wan¡¯s back disappearing around the corner, Lu Jingchuan finally withdrew his gaze and said, ¡°Mr. Jiang, let¡¯s make an appointment at noon.¡±

Jiang Yicheng responded lightly, not wanting to show his timidity in front of Lu Jingchuan. The two chatted for a few more words, agreed on a place to meet, and hung up the phone with a cold face.

Jiang Yicheng lay on the bed again, staring at the ceiling with his eyes open. Although he knew that some things could not be undone even if he thought about it, he still couldn't help but think about it.

If he had not chosen to marry Zhao Yan, would he be the man who is with Qing Wan now?

Qingwan stood outside Lu Jingchuan's room for more than ten minutes, and then slowly returned to the living room.

Seeing Qing Wan coming down with empty hands, Lu Jingchuan raised his eyebrows, "Where is my book?"

"You want to read a book?" Qing Wan was a little surprised. She thought Lu Jingchuan just wanted to find an excuse to show her intimacy with Lu Jingchuan.

A glint flashed in Lu Jingchuan's eyes and he nodded.

"Then I'll get it." Qingwan turned around again and went to Lu Jingchuan's room, but she didn't find the book he was talking about on the bedside table in his room.

She took another general look around, and found that nothing had changed in Lu Jingchuan's room. Everything on the surface was clearly visible, and she didn't see any books.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
