Mo Qinwen¡¯s cell phone was confiscated, and she accepted the punishment from her ¡°parents¡± without giving Zhuo Weilan too much attention. She didn¡¯t even ask for a return date, and went to the kitchen to help Aunt Fang without saying a word.

When Mo Qinwen walked away, Zhuo Weilan lowered his head because his phone stopped vibrating for an instant, and then he breathed a sigh of relief and found that the black screen lit up again.

Father Mo called once and found no one answered. After less than five seconds, he called again.

This move made Zhuo Weilan realize that Father Mo was not easy to deal with.

She bit her lip in confusion, feeling that the buzzing vibration on her phone was terrifying, and turned to Mo Shuang like it was a hot potato, "What should I do about dad's phone number?"

"Go and pick her up upstairs." Mo Shuang held the phone in one hand and pulled her away from the door with the other.

Zhuo Weilan had no idea, so she followed along obediently.

When they arrived at the master bedroom, they locked the door and stared at the vibrating cell phones as if they were in danger, not daring to make a sound.  Mo Shuang cleared her throat, clicked on the speakerphone, and let Father Mo's serious voice fill the room.

"Qinwen?" Father Mo asked in a very anxious tone, "Are you there?"

Mo Shuang was mentally prepared and said calmly, "Dad, I am Mo Shuang."

Father Mo, who was anxious to ask, suddenly disappeared, leaving a suffocating silence.

"Qinwen is helping Aunt Fang make meat rolls downstairs and asked us to keep her mobile phone." Mo Shuang didn't have the same love and respect for his father as before, and he told lies very smoothly, "What can I do for you?"

The excessive politeness distanced the distance between father and daughter. Hearing Mo Shuang's indifferent tone, Father Mo knew that he was not lovable. He coughed twice to relieve the embarrassment and said, "It's nothing. I want to see how Qin Wen is doing at school.  I gave it to Teacher Lin. Teacher Lin said that Qin Wen was not feeling well today and asked for leave. I was a little worried and called to find out what was going on."

"Qinwen is fine." Mo Shuang said lightly, "She is in good health."

Father Mo noticed Mo Shuang's perfunctory behavior and did not ask how Mo Qinwen was doing. He turned to another topic, "Mo Shuang, you asked your in-laws to help investigate the case, why didn't you notify me?"

Unexpectedly, the topic would lead to her mother's family. Zhuo Weilan was already nervous. When she heard Mo's father's interrogating tone, she trembled. She tugged on Mo Shuang's clothes and asked silently, "What should I do?"

Mo Shuang was not as entangled as she was, and said her true thoughts directly, "I don't think it's necessary."

Father Mo smiled bitterly, "No need? I am your family."

"Really? Family members also have some close relationships. You saw what my aunt did to me just now, but you still didn't want to call the police." Mo Shuang retorted with a sarcastic tone, "In this case, you should understand that I am closer to the Zhuo family.  "

Dad Mo accepted Mo Shuang's sarcasm and sighed, "Mo Shuang, it's not that I don't want to call the police, I just hope that this matter won't make such a big fuss. The police broke into our house to arrest people, and people outside heard the news  , will spread rumors, and then"

Mo Shuang interrupted unbearably, "At this point, do you still care about face?"

Father Mo sighed, then took a serious attitude and said firmly, "I need to consider the overall situation."

"The overall situation is the most important thing. As long as the x group is stable and the Mo family's face can be saved, does it not matter whether I, the abandoned son, dies?"

As soon as these words came out, Zhuo Weilan was stunned, and so was Father Mo on the other end of the phone.

"Mo Shuang, why do you say that?" Father Mo finally panicked and replied hurriedly, "When did I treat you as an abandoned son? You are my daughter, and of course I will put your safety first.  Bit."

Mo Shuang smiled, "So you asked your friends to handle the case in a low-key manner, and let my aunt and uncle continue to stay with me as family members. There will be opportunities to cause harm at any time."

"I really don't know about your aunt and uncle." Mo's father said helplessly, "I'm not blaming you, I just hope you can tell me when I do things in the future. Today was too sudden. Once the matter gets out, what will happen to me?"  Neither you nor Qin Wen are good friends."

Mo Shuang remained silent and threw the cell phone he was talking on to the side, sulking with a straight face.

Zhuo Weilan saw Mo Shuang's pain and quickly comforted him. He stroked his frown, moved it along his nose and touched it on his lips. When he looked at her, he raised the corner of his mouth and gave a gentle smile.

Mo Shuang's tense body suddenly became deflated. She closed her eyes and took her to the back of the sofa, sinking into the soft and warm sofa.

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????:? Zhuo Weilan leaned on Mo Shuang¡¯s shoulder and said softly in a volume that only two people could hear, "Shall I tell you?"

&nbsp??, rust fell off, and cracks appeared where the bracket landed.

Mo Qinwen sat down in the middle of the crack, leaning against the crooked iron pillar with a huge heart.

"Qin Wen?" Zhuo Weilan did not dare to step forward and called softly, fearing that the little girl would stamp her foot and cause the ground to collapse when she stood up.

Mo Qinwen turned around and saw her staring unhappily, "What are you doing here!"

"I asked you to go home for dinner." Zhuo Weilan tried his best to speak softly, avoiding talking about the major events of his parents being arrested and lying about leaving home, and tried to trick Mo Qinwen back, "Have you bought the juice?"

"Why hold it back? You can scold me if you want. I have no father or mother now, so you are my guardian." Mo Qinwen looked her over and snorted, her voice trembling in the howling wind.

Zhuo Weilan didn¡¯t know how to reply for a moment and hesitated.

Mo Qinwen didn't give her a chance to think about it, so she stood up and left.

"Wait!" Zhuo Weilan didn't think much, rushed over and grabbed Mo Qinwen, "Where are you going!"

Her steps were chaotic and fast, and the heel of her shoes was not strong enough. She stumbled when she stepped on the gap, causing Mo Qinwen to tilt her figure and almost fall down.  Mo Qinwen subconsciously grabbed the pillar, but the pillar was not firm, causing the broken frame to sway wildly.

The iron swing that had been neglected for a long time was swinging back and forth, and the chain was flying around, as if it was going to hit them at any time.

The sound was so loud that Mo Qinwen was just a little girl after all. She was so frightened that she stared at the swing that was about to hit her face and trembled helplessly.

Probably because he had experienced the incident where his aunt suddenly smashed the vase, Zhuo Weilan reacted quickly and pulled Mo Qinwen to squat down to avoid her. After hugging her, she blocked her with her body. She closed her eyes and waited for the deafening sound to dissipate.

Slowly, the surroundings became quiet. Zhuo Weilan opened his eyes and took a look. He breathed a sigh of relief when he found that the swing frame was restored to its original state. He patted his head in his arms and said, "It's okay."

"Yeah." Mo Qinwen said muffledly, her nasal voice buzzing.

Zhuo Weilan heard that she was crying, so she said nothing and pulled Mo Qinwen to a safer place nearby.

Mo Qinwen, however, was reluctant and complained in a hoarse voice, "Zhuo Weilan, you are so stupid. What if you were hit on the head and died just now."

"" Zhuo Weilan was scolded for saving someone. After holding it in for a long time, he gritted his teeth and scolded, "Shut up!"

She turned back angrily and saw Mo Qinwen's crying face.

Zhuo Weilan couldn't bear to continue scolding. He took out a tissue from his bag and walked over to help wipe away his tears.

Mo Qinwen was unhappy from the moment she approached and struggled to avoid her.

Zhuo Weilan was upset and raised his hand to knock Mo Qinwen on the head, teaching her a lesson, "Be honest."

Mo Qinwen covered the place where she was beaten and looked at her in disbelief.

The dull expression looked familiar. Zhuo Weilan recalled that Mo Shuang had the same reaction when he was beaten for the first time, and was amused, "You look a bit like Mo Shuang."

"Oh." Mo Qinwen lowered her head, grabbed a tissue and wiped her face. She cleared her throat to make her voice normal and then spoke, "Zhuo Weilan"

Zhuo Weilan clicked his tongue, "Why do you always call me by my full name? It's quite awkward."

"Then I'll call you" Mo Qinwen looked at her with twinkling eyes.

Zhuo Weilan's heart suddenly moved: Could it be that Mo Qinwen wants to call me Weilan?

She was looking forward to it, but Mo Qinwen didn't follow her ideas and said the title that came to her mind.

    "Cousin-in-law?"
