    Chapter 17

By pressing the address, Zhuo Weilan found the place where the psychiatrist was. As soon as he entered the door and saw the smiling face of the receptionist, he felt a little better and sent a text message to the girl at the front desk to confirm that the appointment was successful.

Mo Shuang followed behind, looking around curiously.

"This way, please." The staff called to confirm and asked them to come in.

Zhuo Weilan put the phone back in his pocket. When he saw that there was no one around him, he turned around to look for her, "Mo Shuang."

Mo Shuang was reading a brochure on a shelf not far away. When he heard her speak, he immediately put it down. He walked over quickly, took her hand and walked in front, "Let's go."

Zhuo Weilan's heart moved, and his tone softened, "Yeah~"

The interior colors are very warm, and the warm sunlight shines in from the outside. It looks bright and transparent, and it is not as condescending and unhuman as it looks from the outside of the building.

Zhuo Weilan noticed many exquisite and beautiful small ornaments. As she looked at them, the discomfort of being in a strange place slowly dissipated. She cheered up and pinched Mo Shuang's fingers that were clenched too tightly. "Don't be afraid.  We¡¯re just here to chat.¡±

"I know." Mo Shuang pursed her lips, tilted her head and whispered in her ear, "But the people here smile so hypocritically."

    ""

Even though he knew that others could not hear him, Zhuo Weilan still felt embarrassed and glanced at the person leading the way carefully.

The girl who was leading the way saw them slow down their steps, stopped and waited, her smile still the same.

I don¡¯t know if it was due to Mo Shuang¡¯s influence, but Zhuo Weilan felt a little awkward looking at this smile.

When they arrived at the doctor¡¯s office, they successfully met the owner of the number their father had given them.

The doctor¡¯s surname is Zhao. He is of medium build and in his thirties. His appearance is not outstanding, but he has a gentle and approachable temperament and looks comfortable.

Zhuo Weilan had a good impression of Dr. Zhao and greeted him with a smile. Mo Shuang still frowned, twitching the corners of his mouth lukewarmly, and sat down with her and stopped talking.

"That's it" Zhuo Weilan took the initiative to explain, "We came here today to check the past treatment records."

Dr. Zhao was confused, "Past records?"

"About half a year ago, I received treatment here." Mo Shuang continued, "There must be records at that time, right?"

Dr. Zhao glanced at Mo Shuang, who was speaking with a straight face, considered it for a moment, and said regretfully, "No."

    "What?"

"You took the file away after the consultation." Dr. Zhao paused, pointed in the direction of the computer and said, "If you don't believe it, I can search it for you to confirm."

    Zhuo Weilan was stunned.

She felt that it was not convenient to talk on the phone, so she made a special appointment to come over and inquire in person. She thought there would be twists and turns and difficulties, but she did not expect that Mo Shuang did so brilliantly and blocked the road.

Mo Shuang only showed a little surprise when her hope failed, then calmed down and asked, "Can you confirm again?"

Dr. Zhao agreed, took the computer on the table and showed them how to operate it one by one, specifically pointing out the lack of file list numbers and a blank in the visitor registration.

The time was right, and the management system seemed standardized and clear. Zhuo Weilan accepted the fact that Mo Shuang insisted on destroying records at that time, and frowned, wondering what to do next.

After reading it, Mo Shuang scanned the full cabinets in the office and was not satisfied, "Does this prove that you have no information?"

"Mo Shuang!" Zhuo Weilan looked up in shock when she heard the questioning tone, and saw the 18-year-old Mo Shuang who was always smiling silly and sweetly in front of her, asking questions with an expressionless face, and swallowed the rest of the words at once.

Mo Shuang looks like this almost the same as before he lost his memory.

Zhuo Weilan lowered his head, grabbed the cup and took two sips of cold water, which made his tongue numb.

Dr. Zhao was suspected again, but his temper was still very gentle. He tried his best to explain, "Mr. Mo, we have really returned all the information to you. This is the greatest proof without leaking other people's privacy."  .The cabinets in the office you see are all bound volumes of information, which are printed and correspond to the computer one-to-one. They are not in the system, and they are not in the cabinets."

Mo Shuang retracted her probing gaze and sighed softly.

Zhuo Weilan was close and heard Mo Shuang's sigh clearly. Thinking that this trip could not be in vain, he looked up at Dr. Zhao and asked, "Did Mo Shuang really have hallucinations at that time?"

Dr. Zhao did not answer and glanced at Mo Shuang.

&I thought so, so I left Assistant Chen to deal with the aftermath and ran upstairs to revise the manuscript.

When she went to work the next day, she didn't see Assistant Chen coming and going, so she felt uneasy and wanted to call Mo Shuang to ask.

Unfortunately, the design of this theme will be discussed in the afternoon meeting. Many colleagues did not take lunch breaks. They were either immersed in revising the draft or thinking about the explanation. There were people standing everywhere and there was no convenient place to make phone calls.

Zhuo Weilan's heart skipped a beat and he went up to the rooftop with his cell phone.

Opening the rooftop door, she was shaken by the oncoming cold wind, shivered with a hiss, and walked forward shivering.

In such a harsh environment, she is not the only one who comes here to find peace and quiet.

"Shao Shi?" Zhuo Weilan squinted and recognized his best friend who was leaning on the railing, "Why are you"

Hearing the sound, Tan Shaoshi turned around and was startled to see that it was her. She threw something on the ground very quickly and stepped on it with her shoe.

Zhuo Weilan saw this and said, "Are you smoking?"

"No." Tan Shaoshi smiled, "Just come and enjoy the breeze."

Zhuo Weilan looked at the cigarette ashes that he had not had time to blow away without saying a word, frowning, "You finally quit smoking, how can you smoke again?"

"I've been under a lot of pressure recently." Tan Shaoshi couldn't hide it from her, so she took out the cigarette case from her pocket and picked up the next cigarette. "I have a meeting in the afternoon. I have no work this time. I will be criticized and fined."

Reaching out to grab the unlit cigarette, Zhuo Weilan suppressed the anger in his heart and comforted softly, "It's normal to have no inspiration for a moment. It didn't happen this time. Just make up for it next time. Don't take it too seriously."

Tan Shaoshi looked at her steadily and said nothing.

"What's wrong?" Zhuo Weilan felt something was wrong and touched her cheek.

Tan Shaoshi shook his head, "It's nothing, I think you are very chic."

"Shao Shi," the usually sarcastic person suddenly became quiet, and Zhuo Weilan was scared and unsure, "Are you worried about anything?"

Tan Shaoshi raised her feet and stepped across the drainage depression, stood on a higher step, stepped lightly on the edge and leaned on the railing to face the wind from the high-rise, "Yes, there is, but I don't want to say it."

Zhuo Weilan saw that her best friend was very far away from her, and felt it was inconvenient to talk. She even wanted to step up her skirt when she lifted it up.

As soon as she took a shaky step, Tan Shaoshi noticed it and turned around and said, "Wei Lan."

"Huh?" Zhuo Weilan subconsciously reached out for help.

Tan Shaoshi didn¡¯t help, she just said, ¡°Go back.¡±

Zhuo Weilan lowered his hands and forced a smile, "I'll accompany you."

"No need." Tan Shaoshi sighed, and gave her rejection again, "I'm not in the mood to take care of you right now."

Zhuo Weilan¡¯s smile froze, she gathered her skirt and stood still, bit her lip and whispered, ¡°You don¡¯t have to take care of me, I just stand here with you.¡±

Tan Shaoshi glanced at her with a hint of disgust.

Feeling the rejection and disgust, Zhuo Weilan stood there for two minutes and walked away silently, hiding her uncomfortable breathing and eyes that were getting hot in the strong wind.

Back indoors, she struggled to close the heavy door, took a breath and blinked, feeling that her nose was starting to get sore.

Why does every time she wants to care about others, she always has an attitude of "I'm tired, you can go play by yourself"?

Mo Shuang is like this, and Tan Shaoshi is like this too.

She didn¡¯t want to call anymore and squatted by the wall to think about it.  She didn't calm down for long. The phone in her hand suddenly rang, and Mo Shuang's name was displayed on the screen.

Zhuo Weilan gained some strength and braced himself to connect, "Hello?"

Mo Shuang¡¯s brisk voice came, ¡°Wei Lan~ The safe is open~¡±

"Oh" Zhuo Weilan didn't speak for a long time and then a gust of wind blew, and his voice became hoarse.

Mo Shuang heard something was wrong, "Weilan?"

Zhuo Weilan took a breath, "Hey."

    ¡°I¡¯ll go find you, okay?¡±

Zhuo Weilan couldn't help it this time and blinked away tears.

"Okay." (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
