    Chapter 6

Zhuo Weilan walked out of the ward, not daring to look back. She left in a random direction, walking and running, for fear that Mo Shuang would catch up in the next second.

In a hurry, she was confused by the hospital-like corridors and doors and forgot the way she came. She fainted and turned to the stairwell, where she was stunned for a while.

If you walk back, you will definitely pass by Mo Shuang's ward.

Zhuo Weilan gritted his teeth and walked forward slowly, holding on to the railing and looking down. He saw the winding stairs. He felt that the number of steps was countless, and he didn't know how long it would take to reach the end.  She sighed and planned to go downstairs and then take the elevator. She stepped carefully on the smooth steps, making a crisp sound between the heels of her high heels and the tiles.

It just so happens that this pair of shoes is both beautiful and hard to wear.

Zhuo Weilan regretted her decision in the morning and walked slowly downstairs.  The high-rise ward was very quiet. She didn't see anyone in the corridor who could ask. She counted the ward numbers and groped around, and finally found the elevator.

She is a bit blind. She was spoiled by her parents when she was a child. When she grew up, she was spoiled by her girlfriends and friends. After graduating from high school, Mo Shuang took over.  After working, she spent most of her time traveling from home to the company, with a driver picking her up when she went out. Even though she saw Mo Shuang less and less, it didn't cause any major problems, and she didn't think about changing at all.

Zhuo Weilan was not familiar with Hospital A. When he came, Lawyer Liu led the way, so nothing went wrong. However, problems immediately arose as soon as he arrived.

When she got on the elevator, she saw a child running over from a similar corridor holding a balloon, happily waving to his parents not far away and shouting, "The elevator is here, you guys are so slow!"

Children will know the way better than she does

Zhuo Weilan felt a little pain in his heart, expressionlessly pressing the elevator door button to wait for the children's parents.

After smoothly going downstairs and arriving at the entrance of the hospital, Zhuo Weilan waited for a while and found that there were many people waiting for taxis, and most of them were sick or people who had difficulty getting things. He was too embarrassed to fight for taxis with others, so he walked a little further.  Waiting at the stop.

Time is slowly moving towards the rush hour of getting off work at five o¡¯clock.

Zhuo Weilan was already tired when she reached the stop. After waiting for ten minutes, she struggled to get on the bus. She threw her bag away and twisted her ankle to relax. When she moved, she realized that her heels were red.

She sighed, thinking that she would have to walk a bit when going out to eat tonight, and she might break her skin if she wore it.

Zhuo Weilan looked out the window and happened to see a shoe store with a familiar brand, "Master, could you please stop the car and let me go buy something?"

The driver was embarrassed, "This road section is not very good, right?"

"There is a parking space over there!" Zhuo Weilan said helpfully, "It's just a parking space, it will take less than ten minutes."

The driver glanced at her in the rearview mirror and softened, "Hurry up."

    "Thanks!"

Zhuo Weilan waited for the car to stop, quickly got out of the car, and went straight to the shoe store. After entering the door, he could guess which pair was the most comfortable by scanning it. He picked two models and asked the salesperson to bring the appropriate size, and then went to the cashier to swipe his card.

She changed her shoes, picked up her bag, and hurried back. She almost hit her head when she got in the car. She smiled and said to the driver, "8 minutes, okay?"

The driver didn¡¯t expect that what she was buying in a hurry was this kind of thing. He nodded in confusion and continued to concentrate on driving.

Stepping on the loose shoes, Zhuo Weilan felt that all the fatigue was gone, and his mood improved. He took out his mobile phone and started to read various information that he had not paid attention to before.

There are three unread items. One is the driver Lao Zhang asking "When will I pick you up?", the other is Tan Shaoshi wailing "The director has another meeting", and the other is the instructions from Mo Shuang's father.

Even though they were not face to face, she straightened her waist and sat upright to look at him, giving full respect to Mo Shuang's father.

No way, I'm used to it.

"Assistant Chen is handling the aftermath of the car accident. You take care of Mo Shuang and let her have a good rest during this time and don't worry about the company."

Zhuo Weilan thought carefully for a while and respectfully typed: "Okay, Dad."

She quickly clicked to send. She looked at the incoming and outgoing messages and felt something was wrong - forget it if her aunt didn't know, and her father didn't even know they were getting divorced. Should he continue to treat her as his wife?

What¡¯s even more frightening is how can someone like her, who knows the inside story best, listen to the Mo family members so consciously and call her daddy so skillfully?

Zhuo Weilan clicked his tongue, secretly despising himself.

When the car arrived downstairs at the company, Tan Shaoshi happened to be getting off work. She frowned when she saw her holding a shopping bag, "Oh my God, Mo Shuang was in a car accident. Are you still in the mood to go shopping?"

"Where am I??Pointing to the time of nine o'clock, I couldn't hold my forehead - it was rare to get drunk so early.

The road in front of the house is wide. Standing in front of the courtyard gate, you can see the gate and the lighted windows at a glance.

Zhuo Weilan was helped to walk in, and he hesitated halfway.

She is here, who is in the house?

Zhuo Weilan couldn't tell the time when she was drunk, and completely forgot about the amnesia incident in the hospital. What she thought about was that Mo Shuang would not come home earlier than her after working overtime at the company. She was confused and stopped in her tracks and refused to move.  .

Tan Shaoshi thought she was feeling uncomfortable and wanted to vomit, so she patted her back and asked, "What's wrong? Can't she walk?"

When they were stuck in the middle of the road, the door of the house opened and a familiar figure appeared.

Mo Shuang walked up to them and frowned when she saw the two of them holding hands for balance.  After losing her memory, Mo Shuang wanted to ask everything she saw. She looked at Tan Shaoshi with doubts and asked without any scruples, "Who are you?"

Tan Shaoshi smiled awkwardly and thought to herself: Mr. Mo is so forgetful and so jealous that even a straight-laced best friend like her would be suspicious.

Zhuo Weilan didn't think so. Looking at Mo Shuang's casual appearance in home clothes and slippers, and then looking at herself wearing beautiful clothes and high heels, with the thick night sky, she thought of Mo Shuang who used to be disheveled and waiting to return from work.  bleak memories.

She felt inexplicably happy to stand up and take charge, pointing at Mo Shuang and laughing.

"Haha! It's finally your turn to wait for me at home!"
