Li Sui stared at him for a long time, his eyes darkening: "Are you talking about Dongyan, or yourself?"

It was Lu Shang's turn to be slightly startled.

"No matter what kind of thing it is, don't even think about it," Li Sui forcefully interrupted what he was about to say, "I don't know what giving up is. I only know that if it is something important, you must fight for it. You are not  What do you like most about me?"

Seeing that Lu Shang was silent, Li Sui asked again: "Besides, isn't Dongyan the most important thing to you?"

Lu Shang looked at his unwavering gaze and couldn't help but feel moved, and said bluntly: "Before I met you, and now, the most important thing is you, so I don't want to see you being wronged for Dong Yan."

Li Sui smiled faintly: "Don't worry, your boyfriend is not that incompetent, and it is normal to fight in business. There is nothing wrong with him."

After saying that, she reached out and pressed him onto her shoulder: "Okay, close your eyes, go to sleep, don't worry about your eyes, tomorrow will dawn, whether you can see or not, I will be by your side."

A familiar and reassuring breath filled the tip of his nose. Lu Shang buried himself in his neck and took the initiative to hug him. The chest touched by his hands was warm and solid, full of strong vitality.  Before falling into a deep sleep, Lu Shang thought vaguely that Li Sui was no longer the small stove he used to be. He was a blazing and bright sun.

There are no truly invulnerable people in this world. No matter how powerful a person is, there are times when he shows confusion and uncertainty.  The important thing is whether there is someone who can understand your fragility, stand by your side when you are loose, gently hold your hand, and lead you out of this foggy area.

When he was a child, Lu Shang¡¯s father taught him how to have high ambitions, how to be good at business, and how to be invincible by being pure of heart and few desires.  He had always followed the instructions and fulfilled his duties, but later he realized that what he wanted in life was not to dominate the business world, but to win the hearts of the people and save money.

With such a short ambition, he is destined to never become an excellent businessman in this life. However, Lu Shang thought that maybe he could work hard to become an excellent lover, at least one with a long life.

Li Sui kept his promise and insisted on waiting for him to wake up every day before leaving. Unfortunately, Lu Shang's body became more and more tired after winter, and he often fell asleep before he came back.

Li Sui took some time over the weekend and finally got home before dark. As soon as he entered the door, he saw Aunt Lu looking up at the stairs, looking anxious and helpless.

"Aunt Lu, what's wrong?" Li Sui put down his things and asked.

When Aunt Lu saw him, she finally saw her savior, and said anxiously: "Mr. Lu hasn't eaten anything for a day, and he won't come down even if I ask him."

Li Sui was stunned for a moment and quickly went upstairs in two steps.

The light in the room was dim. Li Sui opened the door and saw the person on the bed curled up in a ball, buried under the quilt. He hurriedly walked over: "Lu Shang? What's wrong? Are you feeling uncomfortable?"

Lu Shang had a layer of cold sweat on his forehead. Hearing the voice, he opened his eyes drowsily and closed them again. He only stretched out a hand from the quilt and weakly hooked him.

Li Sui quickly took hold of it and pulled back a corner of the quilt. He found that his face was extremely poor, so he stretched out his hand to check his body temperature. It was a bit hot, but it didn't look like a high fever.

His heart sank, and he quickly walked to the cabinet and took out two coats, wrapped Lu Shang completely in his arms, and asked Aunt Lu to open the car door for him.

"Would you like to prepare a midnight snack?" Aunt Lu was worried.

"Cook some porridge and warm it in a casserole. It's troublesome." After saying that, Li Sui fastened his seat belt for Lu Shang and drove the car out of the yard.

Lu Shang had been burning for about a day. He was not very awake and was leaning on weakly.

Li Sui was anxious and worried. While driving, he did not forget to hold his hand while waiting for the red light: "Can you hear me?"

Lu Shang grabbed his hand and didn't answer. The car light turned green. Li Sui couldn't bear to pull it out, so he simply held it all the way.

Fortunately, Dr. Liang happened to be in the hospital, and Li Sui brought Lu Shang up. He was being trained by his brother-in-law for a trivial matter.

"It's burning again?" When Liang Zirui saw him, he felt like he was seeing a savior and followed him in two steps.

"Low fever, fast heart rate, not drinking water for a day." Li Sui skillfully carried Lu Shang into the ward. Although his face was anxious, his movements were very steady, "I was fine when I went out in the morning."

Liang Zirui checked it with a stethoscope, frowned, and turned around to ask the nurse to get a syringe to draw blood.

Halfway through the draw, Lu Shang woke up, seemed to recognize the voices of their voices, and glanced in Liang Zirui's direction.

Liang Zirui caught a glimpse of it and said to Li Sui: "Go down and help me record his medication."He had a stack of cloth swatches and was rubbing them repeatedly with his hands.

"Why haven't you slept yet?" Li Sui went over and pulled his wheelchair out a little to avoid getting burned.

Lu Shang smiled slightly and handed him the fabric sample in his hand: "I selected a few new materials from the custom shop. You can see which pattern looks better."

"Do you want to make a custom-made shirt?" He took it with a smile. They were all made of fine fabrics and felt very textured. Li Sui picked a plain one and compared it around his neck, "This one is light blue.  Sexy enough for you."

Lu Shang chuckled and blocked his hand, his face still very pale: "I chose it for you."

"The clothes you chose for me, as long as I don't gain weight, I can wear them until I'm sixty years old." Li Sui sat down directly across from him, took off Lu Shang's shoes, touched his feet, and frowned, "Why are you still here?  It¡¯s so cold, is it cold?¡±

Lu Shang shook his head silently.

Li Sui stood up, took away the things in his hands, and leaned over to hug him: "Don't worry about this. Let's go and sleep with me for a while."

"You smell of perfume." Lu Shang suddenly said.

Li Sui was greatly embarrassed. He lowered his head and smelled it. It was indeed there on his wrist, but it was very light. It was probably from Secretary Fu Yang¡¯s touch. He didn¡¯t even notice it. He didn¡¯t expect Lu Shang¡¯s nose to be so good.

"Are you messing around with others outside?" Lu Shang laughed at him.

Li Sui was amused by him: "Are you jealous?"

Lu Shang pretended to be angry and nodded, "Let me guess my 'love rival'. She is a woman, less than thirty years old, beautiful, and pays attention to dressing up, but her financial situation should not be very good."

Li Sui thought he was joking at first, but the more he listened, the more he thought it was incredible: "Are you Sherlock Holmes?"

Lu Shang shook his head and said with a smile: "This was the most expensive perfume from L last spring. For a while, I could smell it in every occasion I went to."

"Then how do you know that her financial situation is not good?"

"This brand has relatively affordable models. If you just love vanity, buying affordable models is enough. A woman who would spend a high price to buy this perfume shows that she is very particular and generally does not use products that are two years out of date. So I guess this person,  Either the perfume was a gift from someone else, or she had financial problems.¡±

Li Sui was suddenly awakened by his words, and he couldn't help but think of Liu Xingtian's training school.  Lu Shang couldn't see the shocked expression on his face and urged him to take a shower: "It smells bad, wash it off."

Li Sui didn¡¯t expect that Lu Shang was quite possessive of him in terms of smell. Although it was funny, he couldn¡¯t help but feel a little happy.

New Year¡¯s Eve soon arrived. In order to free up the two-week holiday after the New Year, Li Sui moved forward his work and spent the whole day rushing around on projects.

On a snowy day, it got dark early, and anxious people were setting off fireworks in the distance. Lu Shang asked Aunt Lu to heat up another dish and bring out the roses and cake.

"Would you like to put in a candle?" Aunt Lu asked with a smile.

Lu Shang thought for a while and nodded.

    "How many should you insert?"

    "Five roots."

?? New Year¡¯s Eve is not only the Chinese New Year, but also their anniversary. Lu Shang originally didn¡¯t like to plan these days, but this year is special, so he thought he might as well celebrate it.

And for some reason these days, he kept thinking frequently about the time when he first brought Li Sui back. How could such a thin child turn into a young man taller and taller than him in the blink of an eye.

"Xiao Li must be very happy to come back." Aunt Lu laughed.

Lu Shang thought of Li Sui, with a smile on his face. He took out a thick red envelope from under his wheelchair and handed it to her: "I have been troublesome for you all year, thank you for your hard work."

Aunt Lu hesitated for a moment, but still took it.

"You go home for a reunion." Lu Shang knew that she had children at home.

    "That¡¡"

Lu Shang smiled lightly: "It's okay, he will be back soon." (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
