At this moment, Rong Mansion was shrouded in smoke, and the air was filled with a pungent burnt smell.

Rong Dingkun was hurried from the west hall to the main building by the footman. He looked calm and was not affected by the fire at all.  Mrs. Rong was busy instructing her servants to put out the fire, and the aunt was busy controlling the younger children and not allowing them to run around. No one in the family took a second look at the crippled man.

Rong Dingkun didn¡¯t mind either. He pushed his wheelchair into the study and closed the door behind his back.

Everyone in the mansion was either busy putting out the fire or watching the excitement.  Rong Dingkun listened to the noisy shouts outside the window, picked up the phone in the study, and dialed a number without thinking.

The deafening whistle of the fire truck came from far away. Outside the door, groups of people were running around, busy carrying water to put out the fire. Their footsteps sounded like heavy drums, and shouts came and went.  Rong Dingkun was talking on the phone alone, completely uninterrupted by the outside world.

"It doesn't matter that Director Shen is not here. I want to provide you with some information. Just remember itdon't you want to find Zhang Guoquan? I know where he is." Rong Dingkun raised his voice slightly.  Sounds younger.

"He has a hiding place, which is a barn owned by his brother-in-law's family in Niujia Village in the western suburbs. If you go there at this time, you will definitely be able to catch someoneWhat? Who am I?"

Rong Dingkun looked at the roof of the west hall where smoke was billowing with evil eyes through the glass window, and a sinister smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, "My name is Feng Shixun"

With a bang, the door to the study room was kicked open by Rong Jiashang.  The angry young man walked in menacingly.

Rong Dingkun sneered and hung up the phone.

Rong Jiashang didn¡¯t bother to ask his father who he had called just now. He wouldn¡¯t answer anyway.  He took a deep breath and ordered in a rough voice: "Reorganize the master's bedroom and send the master upstairs to rest! In the future, the master is not allowed to leave the second floor without my permission!"

    The footman hurried about.

Rong Jiashang leaned over the armrest of the wheelchair, looked into his father's eyes at close range, and said, "Dad, please stay at home peacefully. After Fang Hua's wedding, I will send you to Nanjing to recuperate."

Rong Dingkun's slack cheeks twitched hard, and he suddenly sneered: "Jia Shang, you are a dog that eats inside and outside. You don't understand what a person can do to protect his home. Anyone who wants to destroy  I will definitely destroy the members of my Rong family!"

Rong Jiashang suddenly turned back to look at his father, his brows furrowed, "What did you do again?"

Rong Dingkun huddled in his wheelchair and closed his eyes to rest.

A steward hurried in, glanced at Rong Dingkun, leaned into Rong Jia's ear, and whispered: "Young master, something is wrong. The safe in the master's room has been opened."

"What was lost?" Rong Jiashang asked immediately.

The steward didn¡¯t know what was supposed to be in the safe, so he had to say: "There are jewelry and money in it, and a box of bullets"

"Bullets? Where's the gun?" Rong Jiashang immediately grasped the point.

¡°There is no gun in sight,¡± the steward said.

Rong Jiashang¡¯s pupils shrank and he immediately shouted: ¡°Close the door immediately and search everyone¡ª¡ª¡±

Before he finished speaking, Rong Dingkun let out a hoarse laugh.

Rong Jiashang slowly turned his head to look at him.

Rong Dingkun opened his eyes and said, "Dad, I'll save you some time. Guess what Sun will do with a gun?"

    Second aunt?

Rong Jia¡¯s brows knitted into a knot, and then his eyes suddenly widened with a ferocious expression on his face.

"Send him upstairs now! Don't let him go out!" Rong Jiashang roared, turned around and ran away.

Since the accident, the Feng family has kept its door closed on weekdays, not going out to socialize, and has also cut off the inquiring eyes of neighbors.  Feng Shizhen also refused to let his mother go out. He went shopping for groceries and served his parents every day.

The atmosphere at home has always been gloomy. Feng Shizhen turned on the gramophone to add some excitement to the room, but as soon as he turned it on, it was talking about the news that communists were being arrested everywhere.  Mrs. Feng couldn't bear to hear the news and burst into tears when she heard it.  Feng Shizhen hurriedly turned off the phonograph, sat down and peeled beans with his mother, doing some household chores to divert his mother's attention.

After Mrs. Feng experienced her son being broken into and taken away, she was particularly afraid of knocking on the door.  She had already put away her tears, but when she heard a sudden knock on the door, she was so frightened that she knocked over a large bowl of beans she had just peeled.

"Mom, it's okay." Feng Shizhen comforted him and got up to open the door.

The pale and colorless face of the second aunt appeared behind the door.

"Second aunt?"Next!  "Meng Xu'an gave a brief order.

Feng Shizhen pressed Mrs. Feng down and said, "Wait a minute, she actually"

Meng Xuan has pulled the trigger.

As soon as the second aunt ran to the door, her body shook violently.  She raised her hand blankly to cover the hole in her chest, and blood flowed out from between her fingers.

Feng Shizhen covered Mrs. Feng¡¯s eyes, looked back, and saw the second concubine looking at her helplessly, and then fell softly to the ground.

Meng Xian frowned and then put down the gun.

"I told you to wait!" Feng Shizhen roared at Meng Xu'an, ran back to the second concubine, took off his coat and pressed it on the gunshot wound on her chest.

The second aunt¡¯s beautiful peach blossom eyes were filled with water, and tears fell down the corners of her eyes and rolled into her temples.  She cast her sad eyes on Feng Shizhen and moved her lips.

    "Sorry, I¡¡"

"Stop talking." Feng Shizhen pressed her wound hard and shouted outside, "Come here and help me take her to the hospital!"

A familiar figure rushed in.  Feng Shizhen's pupils shrank suddenly.

"Sehun!" Mrs. Feng shouted in surprise.

Feng Shixun knelt beside Feng Shizhen, took her hand that was pressing the wound, and skillfully inspected his second concubine.

"It was as if a ray of light fell on her face in the darkness, and the second aunt's gray face suddenly became brighter.

    "Youcame out"

"Yes." Feng Shixun took off his clothes and looked at the bullet hole in the second concubine's chest with a deep frown, his expression becoming more solemn.

"I" The second concubine gasped laboriously, with a gurgling sound in her throat and blood pouring out of her mouth, "I didn't"

"Stop talking!" Feng Shixun said hurriedly, lifting her head up and holding her half in his arms.

The second aunt was held by him, and the corners of her mouth could not help but raise slightly, revealing a shy look.

Feng Shizhen had learned some first aid measures from Feng Shixun. When he saw Feng Shixun acting like this, he knew that his second aunt was probably hopeless.  Her expression darkened.

Meng Xuan saw the gun in the corner and walked over to pick it up.  He was extremely familiar with guns. As soon as he took the gun in his hand, he noticed something was wrong and immediately removed the bullet clip to check.

    "How?" Feng Shizhen asked.

Meng Xu'an looked a little unhappy and said, "It's empty. She only loaded one bullet."

Everyone raised their heads in unison and glanced at the bullet holes in the ceiling.

"I'm sorry" The second aunt gasped, vomiting blood, "I just wanted to scare I just wanted to force her to go to Rong Dingkun to plead I didn't want to hurt her"

"I know." Feng Shixun's voice was hoarse and he hugged her a little tighter. "You just mistakenly believed in that old thief Rong Dingkun. I don't blame you"

The second aunt raised her hand with difficulty and put it on Feng Shixun's hand that was pressing her wound.

    "You're finejust fine"

"Don't worry, Mrs. Sun." Feng Shixun also smiled gently at her and held her hand, "I will remember your friendship forever."

The second aunt looked up at Feng Shixun's thin and handsome face like a young girl in love, and slowly opened a shallow and satisfied smile.

"Imy name is Sun ShaolanBanglan Guanglan"

Like a light extinguished, the tiny light in her eyes dimly disappeared, the last note was as light as a fallen leaf, and there was only silence between heaven and earth.  #####(Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
