The man went upstairs to deliver the stove, and Feng Shizhen whispered a few words to him.  Rong Jiashang pressed against the door like a thief, trying to hear what she was saying.  There was a sudden knock on the door, which startled Rong Jiashang. His feet hit the stool and made a loud noise.

"Jia Shang?" Feng Shizhen asked outside.

"It's okay." Rong Jia gritted his teeth, then adjusted his expression and opened the door with a smile.

Feng Shizhen asked: "Are you hungry? What do you want to eat for dinner?"

Rong Jiasheng said hurriedly: "How can I ask a lady to come and have dinner when I'm away from home? I'll invite you to a restaurant."

If you are in Shanghai and want to eat out, there are restaurants all over the street waiting for you to choose.  But in a small place like Bailiu Town, there is only one street in total. When it gets dark, the shops are closed and it is so deserted that not even a dog can be seen.  The only restaurant that was still open had old bacon hanging on the door that attracted flies. A dim kerosene lamp was lit in the store, and the three diners sat in silence, giving off a ghostly atmosphere.  Not to mention Rong Jiashang, even his two men felt a little uncomfortable.

¡°You really want to eat here?¡± Feng Shizhen sneered.

"You have to eat something, right?" Rong Jiashang was helpless.

Feng Shizhen waved his hand to the boss who came out, smiled at Rong Jiashang and said: "So, I still have to do the work. Come with me."

Feng Shizhen led Rong Jiashang through the alley, and after turning a few familiar turns, he saw a shop at the intersection with lights on and a banner reading "Zhang Ersao Beef Noodles".  There was a stove set up at the door of the store, burning a large pot, and a woman was kneading dough.

"Mom boss, four portions of beef noodles, three large and one small, add more spicy food to the small portion." Feng Shizhen said.

The landlady responded loudly, grabbed a large handful of freshly cut noodles and threw them into the pot.

Although this shop is small enough to only accommodate three tables, it is very clean and tidy and full of people.  Rong Jiashang personally went to the corner with his men to move the spare tables and stools, set them up, and sat face to face with Feng Shizhen.  The warm yellow kerosene lamp illuminated both faces, which made them look particularly handsome and beautiful. Time seemed to slow down, and the biting cold wind of the winter night stopped.

"You used to come here often?" Rong Jiashang asked.

"I don't come often." Feng Shizhen said, "I only come once a year on the death anniversary. Bailiu Town is small and rundown, and I'm really afraid that you won't get used to it."

"I'm not that squeamish." Rong Jiashang said, "When I was in military school, we had to go to the field for half a month every semester. At that time, we slept in the open air and had to make fires to cook our own meals."

    "Can you cook?"

Rong Jiashang sneered: "Of course I will. After eating rice with raw meat twice, I learned it naturally after the third time. After the dry food we brought is gone, we will go hunting in the wild and catch rabbits, pheasants and fish. We will also dig out honeycombs.  , picking mushrooms. I am especially good at making barbecue. I took out the belly of the wild rabbit, rubbed it with salt, and grilled it until it was half-cooked. Then I brushed it with honey while turning it over the fire. When it is cooked and the honey has taken on the flavor, take a bite.  That sweetness"

Rong Jiashang was beaming as he spoke, and the boy at the table next to him who was eating noodles with the adults was drooling as he listened.

Feng Shizhen smiled and said, "Then when you return to Shanghai, these skills will be useless."

Rong Jiashang said: "When spring comes, we can go hunting in Caohebang. There are many wild ducks there, fat and stupid. Even a lady like you who has never used a gun can always catch one or two."  "

    Never used a gun

Feng Shizhen subconsciously touched the index finger that had been specially polished off the callus.

The landlady brought the steaming noodles up, and the aroma was fragrant.  Both of them were so hungry that they were too busy eating noodles to talk.

When I came out of the noodle shop, it was already dark outside.  There was no light in the night sky, and there were still some cold raindrops in the wind.  Deep in the alley, the sound of a gramophone and the barking of a dog occasionally came.

Having stayed in a bustling and bustling city like Shanghai for so long, I didn¡¯t know there were such dark and quiet nights in the world.

Rong Jiashang suddenly came closer and took Feng Shizhen's hand.

Feng Shizhen was stunned for a moment.  Rong Jiashang didn't look at her and pulled her forward.  Feng Shizhen was like a marionette, led by those warm hands, moving forward.

The men followed behind at a distance of half a distance but not too close.  Rong Jiashang and Feng Shizhen held hands and walked in the silent night, as if they were isolated in the world.

"Shizhen" Rong Jiashang considered it and whispered, "Can you tell me what's on your mind?"

Feng Shizhen was silent for a while and asked: "Which sentence do you want to hear?"

Rong Jiashang squeezed her hand tightly and said, "Tell me, do you like me?"

Feng ?I really felt that my soft heart had been stabbed hard by an awl inadvertently, and blood beads came out one after another.  Her nose suddenly felt sore, and she almost made a choking sound in her throat.  Fortunately, she had strong restraint, and fortunately it was so dark here that no one could see anyone's face clearly.

"Shizhen?" Rong Jiashang looked at the woman's blurry profile in the darkness.

Feng Shizhen said in a calm voice: "What if you like it, so what if you don't like it?"

"Please answer the question head-on, Mr. Feng." Rong Jiashang chuckled, "Whether you like it or not is just a matter of words. If you don't say it, I will always be left hanging, and my heart will be empty. It's very uncomfortable."

"Oh." Feng Shizhen said, "I don't like it."

    Rong Jiashang chuckled, "You lied."

    "how do you know?"

"I knew it." Rong Jiashang took Feng Shizhen's hand and kissed the back of her hand in the dark.  His lips were soft and hot, leaving a mark of piety and confidence on the smooth, cold skin.

"I know you like me, you like me so much that you can't control yourself. I know that it's because of this that what happened in Wen Chunli hurt you so deeply and you have to avoid me. I know you can't see me.  I cried wherever I went, and I know you will also miss me secretly, and when you think of me, your heart will hurt just like mine"

Feng Shizhen suddenly struggled hard and tried to pull his hand back.  Rong Jiashang grabbed her hard and pushed her against the wall, trapping her between his arms.

In the dark alley, the weak light was not enough for the two of them to see each other's expressions clearly, but they could still capture the emotional stars shining in each other's eyes.

After a moment of silence, it was unclear who took the initiative, and the four lips were glued together.  The two hugged each other tightly, kissed crazily, their lips and tongues intertwined, and their breaths mingled.  Their souls vibrated, emitting a long resonance in their heads.

In this strange town, walking in the darkness, they were temporarily separated from their original identities.  There is no rich kid and his former tutor, just a pious young man and the woman he loves.  They kissed passionately, using all their strength to hug each other, tasting the sweetness of each other's lips and tongues and the saltiness of the tears in the corners of their eyes.  His heartbeat was as frantic as the dense raindrops of a summer rainstorm, and his breath was so hot that it could burn the air.

But the fierce kiss gradually subsided.  They gasped, caressing each other's cheeks, tracing each other's contours with their fingertips, touching their lips, sucking tenderly, rubbing, and nuzzling affectionately.  This lingering and gentle kiss lasted for a long time, and the two of them enjoyed it endlessly and were intoxicated.

"I love you." Rong Jiashang sighed, hugged Rong Jiashang tightly, and buried his hot face in her neck.

Feng Shizhen hugged him and lovingly stroked the thick short hair on the back of his head. His chest was sore and his heart almost lost the strength to beat.

They hugged each other for a long time in the dark, until the drizzle wet their hair and shoulders.

The next day, it started raining again before dawn.  Rong Jiashang woke up to the sound of rain.  The room was dark, damp and cold, which made him feel dazed for a moment, thinking he was back in the military academy with poor accommodation in Chongqing.

And the life in the military academy allowed him to develop excellent work and rest habits.  He jumped out of bed and washed himself with cold water.

When Feng Shizhen came to knock on the door, he was shaving in front of the mirror and went to open the door with foam on his chin.  Feng Shizhen looked at his tight white vest in astonishment, revealing the young man's fit and muscular body.  With broad shoulders and a slim waist, straight and slender legs, a strong youthful and masculine aura blows across her face.

"Aren't you cold?" Feng Shizhen was a little at a loss and stood at the door without coming in.

"I'm used to it in the military academy." Rong Jiashang wiped the foam on his chin, glanced at Feng Shizhen's blushing cheeks with a half-smile, picked up the clothes hanging on the back of the chair, and put them on  .

The two of them went downstairs and had breakfast.  The Rong family's men drove over, picked up the two of them, and headed out of the town.

After leaving the town, there was not even a decent road, and the continuous rain had soaked the dirt road to pieces.  The car swayed, and the two people sitting in the back seat of the car were so shaken that they couldn't help but fall on top of each other.  Feng Shizhen just got up in a hurry, but before she could sit firmly, the car swayed and Rong Jiasheng jumped on her.

The young man's body was heavy and hard, pressing down like a warm boulder.  Rong Jiashang was afraid of crushing her, so he put his hands on the seat and tied Feng Shizhen between his arms.  #####(Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
