    No theory exists in isolation.

    The problem is here, without Neo-Confucianism, naturally, there will be no new learning, because the new learning itself comes into being on the basis of the old learning.

    Just like the geocentric theory, when it appeared, it was also a truth that people regarded as a standard. However, without the geocentric theory, how could the heliocentric theory be born? After people accepted the heliocentric theory, they could not say that Claudius Ptolemy, who originally proposed the geocentric theory, was a heavenly being.  Big fool, no, people still regard him as the master of astronomy and geography, the originator of science. Even Copernicus, who originally questioned the geocentric theory, categorically did not dare to say that his creative thoughts on astronomy were hidden in the cracks of the stone.  Those who jumped out must have been influenced by the astronomy of Clodius Ptolemy.

    Each school uses its own understanding to understand the Xinxue. Some schools believe that the essence of Wangxue lies in the absence of mind in movement and stillness, and the forgetfulness of both internal and external aspects. After blending this Wangxue with Buddhism, Wangxue has become  Like Neo-Confucianism, it became Taoism with the purpose of improving one's own cultivation.

    Another school of thought believes that the so-called conscience is different from knowledge.  Conscience is the nature of destiny, and it is also the most good thing.  Knowledge is the use of conscience, and there are good and evil things.

    Furthermore, the so-called heart is the essence. Therefore, they believe that the sky is understood by the heart, the earth is observed by the heart, things are created by the heart, and all things originate from the heart.

    Of course, the above regards mind science more as some kind of philosophy.

    On the other hand, the most influential one is the Taizhou School. The Taizhou School believes that what Wang Shouren pursues is the way to govern the country and secure the country. Wang Xue should not be the same as Neo-Confucianism. It is just Taoism, let alone Taoism.  This is a philosophy that only pursues the inner spiritual world of people. Therefore, they proposed that "the people's daily needs are the way." In other words, the daily needs of the people are the foundation of the way of the saints. Most of their students come from society.  At the bottom, some are farmers, some are woodcutters, some are potters, and some are blacksmiths. Therefore, they put forward the concept of equality that everyone is a gentleman and the streets are full of saints; common people are not inferior, and princes and kings are not superior; at the same time, they advocate the concept of practical management of the world.

    Even later, this school of thought put forward the idea that "having no father and no king is not killing the father and killing the king." In this era, it is enough to cut off the head.

    What is new learning? Some people in later generations regard it as philosophy. Even Fang Jifan met many supporters of Wang Yangming in his previous life. When Wang Yangming was mentioned, they would immediately shake their heads and talk about xinxing.

    But what is the reality?  Is Xinxue really a philosophy?

    But learning by heart is by no means philosophy. Wang Shouren spent his whole life looking for ways to govern and secure the country. He studied bamboo, practiced bow and horse, went to inspect border towns, studied the art of war, and observed with his own eyes.  Focus on things and try to find solutions to problems again and again.

    What he pursues is the supreme concept of Confucianism, the so-called era of great governance.
