The Yan family had a rough year this year, and Yan Ze had no intention of doing anything, so he asked for leave from the capital camp and rested at home.

Relatives and friends may come to pay New Year greetings, and some may also come to express their condolences, and the crowd is bustling at once.

Soon, Shangyuan came to the busy place.

It is an old custom to watch lanterns during the Lantern Festival, and it is rare for a family to get together. After cleaning the hall and burning the lanterns in the morning, the three siblings gathered around the room to make lanterns.

Yan Mo put paper on the lantern stand that he had set up. When he saw the calligraphy carefully drawing on the lantern, he asked casually: "Second sister, were you scolded again yesterday?"

Shu Ci didn¡¯t even raise his eyelids, ¡°I want you to take care of it.¡±

"Just tell me, you are the most filial person in our family, and you are the one who gets scolded the most. What are you trying to do?" He put down the lantern, "In my opinion, my mother loves me and my eldest sister, the more we don't  The more she likes it when she follows the rules.¡±

Yan Shuyue was puzzled: "Am I very unruly?"

Yan Mo didn¡¯t pick up on her, and moved closer to Shu Ci, ¡°Sister, spring is about to begin, and the birds in the woods on the outskirts of the city are flying all over the sky. Let¡¯s go hunting for birds. We can give a few to my mother when we get back.¡±

Shu Ci put down the pen and glanced at him sideways, "I gave it to my mother. To put it nicely, the purpose is to let me take you to play, right?"

¡°There are many varieties of birds there, why don¡¯t you catch some and play with them.¡±

"I'm not going." She put up the lantern quickly, "I'm busy at home in the spring, and I have to help Uncle Liu with the accounts."

"Why bother." Yan Mo said without thinking too much, "No matter how well you do, my mother won't praise you."

Hearing this, Shu Ci shook his hand and tore a slit in the tissue paper.

"Xiao Mo!" Yan Shuyue scolded in a low voice.

Knowing that he had said the wrong thing, Yan Mo quickly changed the subject, "What? It's okay if we don't go hunting for birds. Mom said she would take us out to watch the lights tonight. Sister, do you know that the elephant room will still be there by then?"  Let the elephant out."

    Shu Ci doubted: "Really?"

    ¡°It¡¯s true, it¡¯s absolutely true!¡±

Yan Shuyue also echoed: "I've heard about this too." She moved closer to Shuci, "After reading Xiang, let's go walk on the bridge together in the evening, okay? All diseases can be cured in the coming year.  "

Shu Ci pursed his lips and thought for a while.

"Go, go, it's fun." Knowing that she was good at guessing lantern riddles, Yan Mo pushed her around.

Looking at the expectant eyes of the two people in front of her, she raised her eyebrows and nodded reluctantly: "Well okay then."

In the Forbidden City, in the Imperial Garden.

More than ten layers of Aoshan are piled on top of each other. It is not yet dark, but the gold and jade are already shining and extremely dazzling. The interior of the Forbidden Palace is brand new, and the lights are like stars, which is extremely luxurious.

At the bottom of the steps, a five or six-year-old girl was happily playing sepak takraw in the snow, with a long trace left behind by her thick brocade uniform.  The old nanny was watching from a short distance away, and several little maids were playing with her.

There were too many robes, which inevitably hindered her movement. When she accidentally stepped on the hem, she fell to the ground, and the sepak takraw ball rolled out.

"Little princess!" The old mama was about to step forward when the sepak takraw ball stopped at someone's feet. She gasped, stammered "Your Highness", and then bowed her head and saluted.

Shen Yi lifted his robe and squatted down, holding the takraw ball in his hand and playing with it nonchalantly.

The little girl looked at him bewilderedly, "Uncle, my ball"

He suddenly chuckled, "What did you call me?"

The name Prince Su has always been used to stop children from crying. The little princess is naughty and playful by nature. Naturally, this is the name she has heard the most in her life. She was immediately frightened and turned pale. She stammered for a long time before she said: "  Emperor, uncle¡"

Shen Yi handed the ball over as if nothing had happened, "How is it? Does it hurt from the fall?"

She shook her head like a rattle: "No, no."

Just as Shen Yi was about to check her knees, an urgent cry came from behind: "Ling'er!"

There was a group of palace people standing on the bluestone path. Princess Zhaohuai came quickly and almost threw herself on the princess. She stretched out her hands and hugged her nervously, staring at the person opposite with vigilance and fear.

Shen Yi's hand was still in mid-air. He slowly took it back and put it on his knees, with a half-smile on his lips: "Why are you so afraid of what I will do? I won't do anything to her."

Princess Zhaohuai covered her daughter tightly and spoke to him cautiously: "It's getting late. The family banquet will be held in the inner hall. Your Majesty, it's better not to delay here, lest the emperor blame you."

Shen Yi raised his eyebrows and nodded, looking very casual:He quickly stopped and said, "Miss, let me tell you first, I can't accompany you tonight. My mother is still waiting for me at home."

Shu Ci complained: "It's really unjust."

In the prosperous Beijing, the city is lit up with lanterns, as bright as day, and there are fireworks blooming on the tall trees, with thousands of colors and dazzling lights.

There is a sharp contrast between the palace and the market. From the main courtyard to the garden, there are only a few lights, and the maids and servants walking under the corridor dare not speak loudly.  This is the consistent rule in the house.

Shen Yi leaned against the railing and looked up to admire it. The light from the fireworks flickered on his face.

    "Get the wine."

A maid at the bottom held up a tray and stepped forward tremblingly. Gao Yuan saw that her hands were shaking badly and knew something was not right. Sure enough, before the wine glass was even placed on the table, she shook it so hard that it fell to the floor.

Gao Yuan sighed secretly in his heart, but he still had to shout dutifully: "Presumptuous!"

The maid knelt down with a plop and kowtowed repeatedly, "Your Majesty, please forgive me, Your Majesty, please forgive me. This slave is new. I won't do it next time. I won't dare to do it next time"

Shen Yi leaned on the railing and looked at the tiny moonlight on the water of the flower pond, and then stood up after a long while.

There was no expression on his face, and he walked slowly to the maid while shaking the tassel under the medicine bag on his waist.

She was still knocking, making a banging sound. Maybe she saw the uppers of his shoes, and she raised her head tremblingly.

The man under the cold moon was as gloomy as an evil ghost. Although his appearance could be considered outstanding and handsome, his eyes were really sharp and menacing. The penumbra of his brows in the moonlight, even if no emotion could be seen, still made people look at him.  People feel terrible from the bottom of their hearts.

Shen Yi looked at her condescendingly, then looked away and said calmly: "It's up to you."

" Gaoyuan bowed his head should be.

    "Your Majesty, Your Majesty"

Anyone who has lived in the palace for a long time knows that these words are unpredictable, and the maid didn't care much about it, crying and hugging his robe.

    "My lord, I beg you."

"You beg me?" He asked quietly, "Why, is my palace like a dragon's pond and a tiger's den? Are you afraid of this?"

    "No, it's not"

    "Then why are you crying?"

"I, I" The maid was at a loss and couldn't answer. Gao Yuan quickly pulled her down first.

Shen Yi shook his sleeves and walked towards the bedroom.

The maid who was lighting the lamp on the verandah saw him passing by and respectfully stood beside him holding the lamp.

The guard on night watch had his back straight, his hand on his sword, and his eyes were not squinting.

His mansion is too quiet, it always has been.  I didn't feel anything before, but for some reason, tonight I suddenly felt that the surroundings were a little empty and deserted.

It was still early, and Shen Yi was sitting alone at the table. Through several walls, he could still hear the complicated voices and loud gongs and drums in the market.

He was fiddling with the medicine bag, his brows furrowed slightly, and he was concentrating on what he was thinking about.

When fireworks bloomed in the night sky again, Shen Yi suddenly stood up and took out the mask placed in the corner.

"Your tea is all here. Check to see if the quantity is correct."

Shu Ci finished checking the accounts, nodded and gave him the money, "Thank you for your hard work, I'm here to go for a run now."

The old man who delivered the tea took the money and said with a smile: "It's not hard, it's not hard, it should be." After saying that, he asked her again: "Why don't you, Miss, go out to see the lanterns today? The lantern market is very lively."

Shu Ci twitched the corner of his mouth and smiled helplessly: "I won't go, I don't like watching lanterns."

The old man let out a long, regretful voice: "That's it I'll leave first."

    "Well, please walk slowly."

After closing the door, Shuci returned to the small courtyard with his head drooping.

Aunt Liu was coming out of the kitchen and smiled politely when she saw her: "Second Miss."

Shuci asked politely: "Aunt Liu, are you going home?"

She smiled and said yes, "There are glutinous rice cakes left for you on the stove. If you are hungry at night, you can eat some."

    "Okay, thank you."

Once Aunt Liu left, she was really the only one left in the house.

Shu Ci was pacing back and forth boredly, with fireworks rising into the sky from time to time. She raised her head and couldn't see clearly, so she simply opened the back door and sat down on the steps.

There were lights, trees, and flowers, and even the stone walls of the alley reflected a faint light, with mottled marks on them.

She hugged her knees and leaned her head gently against the wall.

There was a child running past with a smile in the alley, bright lanterns flashed past her eyes, everything was quiet and peaceful.

When she was young, her younger brother and Shuyue were like this, riding bamboo horses in the open space in front of the door. She sat alone in the small courtyard, tying up her clothes while watching them.

A wild cat nuzzled under her and cupped her hand coquettishly.

Shu Ci then hugged it over and caressed it carelessly.

The night wind blows coldly from east to west, and a long shadow is cast at the feet, getting closer and closer.  She came back to her senses and raised her head following the shadow¡ª¡ª

That silver mask looked particularly abrupt and harmonious against the bustling market behind him, as if he should have been standing here.

Shu Ci was stunned for a while, then smiled lightly: "It's you." (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com)Zhuma, she was sitting alone in the small courtyard, watching them while tying her knot.
