    Bai Lu is making rice.

It was agreed to treat the guests, but when they arrived at the cafeteria, Wu Hanwen said something about not letting Bai Lu pay for the meal card.

"Don't, I can't afford to embarrass anyone if you tell me." Wu Hanwen stuffed a dinner plate into Bai Lu's arms, "You can take whatever you want to eat."

Bai Lu didn¡¯t brush off Wu Hanwen¡¯s kindness. She took the plate and said half-jokingly: ¡°That will cost the school committee a lot of money.¡±

"You look down on people, don't you?"

The late-night snack in the cafeteria was quite rich, but Bai Lu couldn't eat much. She only took one rice dumpling and one pancake.

Wu Hanwen packed a plate full of rice. Bai Lu looked at it and said, "Why do you eat so much?"

"Mental work consumes physical strength." Wu Hanwen was waiting without dinner, but he didn't tell Bai Lu.

The cafeteria was so quiet at night that it was almost empty, with high school seniors who stayed up late sitting in twos and threes in various corners.

"What time will the exam be tomorrow?" Bai Lu broke the silence.

    "Afternoon." Wu Hanwen said.

    "Why so late?"

Wu Hanwen shrugged, "Who knows, we can just listen to this arrangement."

Bai Lu raised her head from the rice dumpling bowl and looked at Wu Hanwen quietly, "Are you nervous?"

Wu Hanwen smiled, with a hint of pride.

    ¡°Don¡¯t be nervous, I¡¯m confident.¡±

Bai Lu said: "Then if you really win the first prize, where should you go to Tsinghua University and Peking University?"

Wu Hanwen was a little embarrassed, "Don't rush me, it doesn't have to be these two. This year's policy has changed, and it is possible for universities in Zhejiang and Shanghai."

Bai Lu nodded. Wu Hanwen stopped the chopsticks in his hand, looked at her, and asked, "What about you? Which university do you want to go to?"

Bai Lu took a bite of glutinous rice balls.

"I can take the exam wherever I can."

"No goal? There must be one, I'm sorry to say."

Bai Lu: "My grades are average. I can only score 600 points in the college entrance examination."

"There are many choices. Do you want to stay in the north or go to the south?"

Bai Lu took a shallow breath, looked at the slightly turbid soup in the bowl, and said softly: "I don't know, I'll see you later -"

    The phone suddenly vibrated.

Today, the phone happened to be placed on the outside of the schoolbag, and Bai Lu felt it immediately.

Wu Hanwen was still waiting for her to finish. Bai Lu lowered her head and said, "Wait a moment."

I took out my phone and connected the call without looking at it.

    "Where are you?"

It was a low voice again, hoarse and lazy.

Bai Lu¡¯s back was bent, and her hair fell from the headband, blocking her cheeks.

    "Drinking again?"

Wu Hanwen stopped picking up the food and continued eating in silence.

    "How about drinking it?"

    "not so good."

    "Leave me alone"

    "No."

    "You come out."

    "no."

    "come out."

    "Really can not¡¡"

Ten meters away from the seat, the aunt cleaning the canteen suddenly shouted in this direction.

"Eat quickly, it will be closed later!"

A rough voice suddenly burst out in the quiet environment, and Bai Lu's shoulders shrank unconsciously.  When Wu Hanwen saw it, he quickly turned around and shouted back to his aunt.

    ¡°Right away, we¡¯ll finish it soon!¡±

There was a pause on the phone for several seconds.

Bai Lu buried her head and fiddled with the damaged cushions with her fingers.

    He asked briefly.

    "who."

    "Um?"

    "Who speaks."

After another few seconds of pause, a chuckle came from the phone.

    Xu Hui whispered:

    "Dishonest woman"

    The phone was hung up.

Bai Lu put her phone back into her schoolbag, raised her eyes, and met Wu Hanwen's eyes. He seemed to be waiting for her to say something.

Bai Lu didn't want to talk about anything else. She turned the spoon around in the bowl and ate another glutinous rice ball.

"It's getting late. You should go home quickly. You have to take the exam tomorrow, right?"

Wu Hanwen put down his chopsticks, stretched, and suddenly sat upright.

The summer uniform for boys in No. 6 Middle School is a white cotton half-sleeved lapel shirt and dark gray trousers.  Therefore? It was too hot, Wu Hanwen unbuttoned the first button, and the collar was slightly off.

"Cheer me up." Wu Hanwen said, "Be more formal."

Bai Lu also straightened up, "How can I be formal?"

Wu Hanwen snorted, "Just you can tell for yourself."

Bai Lu slowly turned her eyes half a circle, and finally looked at Wu Hanwen.  Wu Hanwen raised his eyebrows, waiting for her to speak.

    "come on."

    Wu Hanwen: "Is it over?"

"It's over." (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
