After school at noon, Bai Lu went home carrying her schoolbag.  Her home is far from the school, and it takes nearly two hours to get there by taking two buses.

Bai Lu lives in an ordinary community. The house was allocated by Bai Lu's father's company about ten years ago. It is now very old.  However, Bai Lu's mother is diligent, the house is well maintained, and the family is sweet and warm.

When she got home, the food was ready and Bai Lu¡¯s parents were waiting for her at home.

"Are you hungry? Let's eat first." Her mother led her to the dining table, and her father also sat down.

"Is there anything going on at school? How are you studying?"

Bai Lu shook her head, "It's nothing, studying is fine."

"Do you need help from your parents?"

    "No."

¡°Is the pocket money still enough?¡±

    "It's enough."

Bai Lu¡¯s mother looked at her sitting in her seat eating quietly, and looked at each other with Bai Lu¡¯s father. Both of them had a look of helplessness in their eyes.

Bai Lu is very well-behaved, but has been introverted since she was a child. This personality gradually becomes apparent as she grows older.

She doesn¡¯t often communicate with her parents, but she doesn¡¯t seem to be rebellious. She has been in elementary school, junior high school, high school and now she is about to take the college entrance examination. Her pace is neither fast nor slow, and everything is done step by step.

But parents know their children well after all. They have a vague feeling that their children are not the kind of nerds who can only study. However, after observing them over and over again in junior high school, they did not find any abnormal signs.

Later, Bai Lu passed the high school entrance examination and was admitted to the best high school in the city, and her parents stopped paying close attention.

After dinner, Bai Lu¡¯s father gave her three hundred yuan.

Bai Lu said, "We don't need so much." She usually only gives her two hundred yuan, or one hundred yuan a week, as pocket money.

"Take it, study and life are too tiring now, you usually buy some delicious food to replenish yourself."

Bai Lu put the money away and said, "Yeah."

Bai Lu went to the kitchen to help her mother wash the dishes. During this period, her mother wanted to have in-depth mother-daughter communication with Bai Lu several times, but as she was talking, the topic was inexplicably dropped.

After the kitchen was tidied up, Bai Lu and her mother walked to the living room. On the way, her mother couldn't help but say something.

"Lulu, sometimes mom really doesn't know what you are thinking."

She spoke in a very low voice, and I don¡¯t know if Bai Lu heard her. The two of them went into the house to eat fruit and rest with their father.

While watching TV with her father, Bai Lu's cell phone vibrated.

During the weekend, her mobile phone was placed in her trouser pocket. After it vibrated, Bai Lu stood up and whispered: "Go to the toilet."

Bypassing her parents, Bai Lu went to the bathroom and closed the door.

On the screen was the word honeysuckle, and Xu Hui sent a text message.

"What did I say last night?"

Bai Lu looked at this sentence and replied.

    "You just woke up."

    She used affirmative sentences.

The news about Xu Hui came quickly.

    "Um."

Bai Lu was not in a hurry to type. After a while, Xu Hui sent another message.

    "Are you free tonight?"

Bai Lu: "What are you doing?"

    Xu Hui: "Eat."

Before Bai Lu could reply, Xu Hui sent another message.

    "I'll treat."

Bai Lu glanced at the time. She usually stayed at home until after eight o'clock on weekends, so that she could catch up with the dormitory access control when she arrived at school.

It¡¯s less than six o¡¯clock now.

Bai Lu thought for a while and replied with one word.

    "good."

The call came in the next second, and Bai Lu answered it with a low voice.  "Xu Hui?"

Xu Hui¡¯s voice sounded hungover and groggy.

    "What time will you arrive?"

"What time do you want to eat?"

    "Now."

"Not now, I have unfinished business at home."

Xu Hui¡¯s voice was hoarse and low, ¡°There are so many things going on in your family.¡±
