Bai Lu was exhausted after a long day outside, dragging her sick body to the dormitory.

At the door of the dormitory, Bai Lu met an unexpected person.

    "Wu Hanwen?"

Wu Hanwen was standing on the steps at the door of the dormitory building with his schoolbag on his back, as if waiting for someone.

"You're back?" Wu Hanwen saw Bai Lu and came down the steps.  "What kind of serious illness do you have? I've been checking for a whole day." His eyes glanced at the plastic bag on Bai Lu's hand, Wu Hanwen raised his eyebrows, "Hey, you went shopping? You can't get out of the line of fire for a minor injury."

Bai Lu struggled feebly and waved her hand, "I'm tired, I won't tell you anymore."

"Hey?" Wu Hanwen called to Bai Lu, "No, I'll be waiting for you for a long time."

Bai Lu turned her head and said feebly: "Huh?"

Wu Hanwen frowned, "Can you take off the mask? You're like a ghost."

Bai Lu took off her mask, and Wu Hanwen took out a stack of test papers from his schoolbag.

"Here, the last test paper has been handed out. The top is yours and the bottom is mine. This afternoon, Teacher Bao taught the math paper. I have notes on it. Teacher Bao asked me to give it to you."

Bai Lu took it and saw her score.

? 127 Not bad. Bai Lu was quite satisfied, and then she turned to the next test paper, 148.

Bai Lu looked up and saw Wu Hanwen's calm face.

Bai Lu put the test paper in her shopping bag, "The school committee has worked really hard."

    Wu Hanwen: "Easy to say."

Bai Lu: "I'm going back first."

    "How are you feeling?"

"It's okay, it's just a common cold. Just take some medicine and go to sleep."

"Let's take a rest on Sunday, take good care of ourselves, and come back on Monday."

    Bai Lu hummed softly.

Wu Hanwen looked at her, "Why are you so tired? What on earth did you do?"

Bai Lu slowly turned her head, "Do I look tired?"

    "I'm tired."

"I'm not tired." She stared at him, but seemed to be talking to herself, "I went out to play all day today."

Wu Hanwen looked at her with a strange expression, "Are you confused by the fever?"

Bai Lu entered the building with her head swaying.

Back to the dormitory, Bai Lu fell down on the bed, lay there for more than 20 minutes and then got up again.

When Bai Lu went to the bathroom to wash her face and was about to get a lemon, she suddenly remembered that two things were missing from the room, a knife and salt.

In the past, Jiang Ru would go to a nearby fruit shop to buy fruit every day after school. After cutting it, she would assemble it into beautiful patterns on a plate, and then the two of them would share the fruit with a small fork.

Jiang Ru has a lot of small things, but Bai Lu didn't pay attention to them before. Now that Jiang Ru is gone, Bai Lu realizes that life is occasionally uncomfortable.

Bai Lu looked at herself in the mirror. She was even more haggard during her illness.

A trance rose in my ears¡ª¡ª

"It's so terrible. Did you know that Jiang Ru stole the family's money to have plastic surgery?"

"Why" Bai Lu hasn't had a good rest recently, her eyes are dark, and she feels faintly cold under the dim light of the bathroom.

She gently turned on the faucet and went downstairs with her meal card.

The school canteen mainly sells food, stationery and simple daily necessities.  Bai Lu took the knife and salt from the shelf.

When I was queuing up to check out, I encountered a group of boys from the class coming out of the cafeteria, and the leader was the school committee member.

"Hey." Wu Hanwen also saw Bai Lu, and several other boys went to pick out food. He came over and said, "Fate, are you coming down to eat?"

Bai Lu shook her head.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
