"If you haven't eaten, would you like to eat together? It's just a thank you for your help last time."

Xu Hui's eyes moved slightly, looking at Bai Lu, as if he was examining something calmly, and finally shook his head, "No, I'm leaving first."

The man turned around and was pulled back again.

Xu Hui frowned and turned back, "I said -"

The words were interrupted by something being handed over.

A plastic bag contains packed kumquats, grapes and apples.

Xu Hui looked at the plastic bag, and Bai Lu said, "You forgot to take what you just saw."

Xu Hui was stunned for a while, his eyes stopped on the bag, but he did not take it.  Bai Lu moved, and Xu Hui looked up from the fruit bag.

Bai Lu's eyes were clear, small beads of sweat condensed on her forehead, and her mouth was slightly open.

"I just wanted to stop you when I saw this, but you walked too fast and almost didn't catch me." Bai Lu said softly.

Xu Hui pursed his lips and looked away for some reason.

Bai Lu passed the bag forward, showed a slightly puzzled expression, and said, "Take it"

Xu Hui looked at the flower bed next to him and took the bag casually.

Bai Lu lowered her head, and the two of them were speechless for a moment.

After a while, Bai Lu lifted her backpack and said, "Then I'm leavinggoodbye." She stepped forward and met Xu Hui.

    "Hello."

The wind rarely blows in summer. A small piece of shredded paper rolled over on the ground, and Bai Lu turned her head lightly.

    "What's wrong?"

Xu Hui stood behind.  His hair was slightly long, black and shiny, and was blown by the wind to cover the corners of his eyebrows.  The tall and thin body was cut into crisp and concise lines under the sun.

"Let's have a meal." He said casually.

Bai Lu lowered her head, "Okay."

The two of them walked side by side outside the hospital.

Bai Lu asked: "What do you want to eat?"

    Xu Hui: "Whatever."

Bai Lu has bad walking habits. She always lowers her head, looks at her toes, and gently kicks away small gravels when she encounters them.

Walking on the sidewalk, Bai Lu suddenly said lightly: "Let's eat wontons."

Xu Hui¡¯s mind was not entirely on eating. It was obvious that he was thinking about other things. After hearing Bai Lu¡¯s words, he nodded without thinking.

    "OK."

Bai Lu took out her phone and said, "I'll look around to see if there's a wonton shop nearby."

Xu Hui stood aside and waited, looking at the busy street outside.

The map showed that there were three wonton shops within two kilometers of the surrounding area. Bai Lu looked at the screen and whispered: "None of them."

Xu Hui turned around and said, "Do you want to eat wontons?"

Bai Lu closed her phone, "I don't really think about it, I can't find it anywhere"

Xu Hui: "Oh, there is one near my school, but you have to take a car there. Let's find a restaurant nearby for a quick meal."

Bai Lu looked at him, "Where is your school?"

Xu Hui paused and said, "The Vocational High School for Vocational Arts is next to my home." After saying that, he glanced at Bai Lu and said, "You still remember my home, right?"

"Of course I remember." Bai Lu said. She raised her head, looked at Xu Hui timidly, and then said another sentence.

"Actually, I want to go somewhere nearby"

Xu Hui suddenly smiled and looked aside, with the corners of his mouth curled up, a clear meaning.

"Okay." He said calmly, "Then go."

The two of them went to take the bus, the same one that Bai Lu took when she arrived.

The bus is still packed with people like dumplings.

Xu Hui stood behind Bai Lu.

There are too many people, and it is inevitable that two people will bump into each other.

As the car turned, Bai Lu's body swayed, her head tilted back slightly, and her ponytail lightly touched the collar of her shirt.

The collarbone is a little itchy.

Xu Hui lowered his eyes, Bai Lu's hair glowed lightly golden under the sunlight, with natural curls, looking soft and fragile.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
