It was already evening when Youtong woke up.

The brocade mattress underneath was thick and soft, and the red gauze soft curtain hung down, blocking the light outside, making the bed very dark.  She didn't know how long she had slept, and her head still felt chaotic. The pain that lingered in her dreams remained, but the choking smoke and dust at the end of her nose disappeared, replaced by the subtle fragrance of jade flowers - this was the scent of jade flowers she was living in.  It's always smoked, and it's extremely familiar.

Youtong's mind moved slightly. He opened his eyelids and saw the begonia branches embroidered on the top of the tent, and the light smoke curling from the Boshan incense burner beside the couch.

Through the soft curtain, the figure sitting outside is faintly visible. It is a tall and straight silhouette of a man, not the usual okra or hosta.  He seemed to be quite tired. He was sitting in a square chair, with one hand resting on the round sandalwood table, his head tilted slightly, and he was resting with his eyes closed.  His posture is like a mountain standing tall and straight, as if he could wake up and draw his sword at any time.

Youtong looked at his profile, cold and tough.

Since we parted ways in Beijing at the end of the year, it has already been October in a blink of an eye. During this period, we only exchanged messages and never met each other.

We met again after a long absence, but it was in a fire scene. At that time, Youtong suffered from headache and eye pain due to the thick smoke. The deepest impression was that he was coming against the fire, with an anxious and fierce look on his face, and his face was covered with dust.  She originally thought she was going to die in the hands of Wei Tianze, the evil thief today, but she never expected that Fu Yu, who was far away in the capital, would rush to her side like falling from the sky.

Youtong looked at him quietly. After a while, he opened the brocade quilt and saw that his wrists and ankles were wrapped with thick gauze, and his clothes had also been changed.

The sound of the brocade being picked up inside the tent was heard. Fu Yu suddenly opened his eyes and ran inside with a quick step.

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????? After rushing here, he encountered the fire in Donglin Temple. He hadn¡¯t closed his eyes for two days and nights.  The bed sank, and he sat next to her, his voice a little hoarse, "What, are you still feeling uncomfortable?"

"Much better." Youtong slept in a daze, "Are you okay? Where is Zhao'er? There are okra and hosta."

"Everything is fine. The okra and jade hairpin are in the wing, Zhao'er has been sent back to the house, and Lanyin has no accident. Father said that I have to thank you for this matter." Fu Yu saw that her face was not as pale as before, and felt a little relieved.  He immediately picked up her ankle, which was wrapped like a rice dumpling, and asked, "What's wrong with this injury?"

"It's not Wei Tianze. He tied my hands and it took a lot of effort to break free."

You Tong said feeling aggrieved, he gathered up his loose black hair and put it on his shoulders.

Fu Yu's eyes darkened, he held her in his arms with lingering fear, rubbed her back soothingly, and said distressedly: "When I found you, you were soaked to the skin. What the hell is he"

"That has nothing to do with Wei Tianze. I originally wanted to soak my sleeves to prevent some smoke and dust from the fire, but those two men were so vicious that they didn't allow me to move. I had no choice but to get out and jump into the pool." You Tong.  She touched her foot distressedly, then raised her head and smiled at him, "Fortunately, although the foot was injured, it was of some use. I saw that the two of them were almost suffocated to death in the end."

The eyebrows are curved, and there is a bit of light-hearted ridicule after escaping from death.

Fu Yu simply couldn't do anything to her, so he just hugged her tightly and whispered, "I'm the one who got you into trouble this time."

"But it was you who saved me." Youtong buried her head in his arms, feeling the familiar generous embrace and masculine aura.  After waking up, the previous panic and fear were gone. She hugged his waist and rubbed against his chest before saying in a low voice: "I'm so hungry. After struggling with that thief Wei Tianze for a long time, all my strength was exhausted."  .¡±

"Then get up and eat. Aunt Xia has made a lot of your favorite food."

With a "gu" sound, Youtong's stomach was the first to respond.  She quickly hugged her lower abdomen, smiled awkwardly, and then spread her hands, "But I couldn't get off the ground, and I didn't wash my face or mouth."

Fu Yu looked at her with a helpless smile on his brows, "I'll take care of you, okay?"

"Thank you, General." You Tong smiled.

    ¡¡

Since Youtong moved out, Fu Yu went back to her boudoir for the first time. Fortunately, the furnishings retained the previous habits. After hearing the news, Chun Cao, who had rushed back from the shabu-shabu shop, had prepared clean towels early, so it was not troublesome.  Fu Yu personally brought it over and placed it on the high table. After You Tong washed his face, he washed his hands with the remaining water and opened the door.

Chun Cao didn't dare to disturb him and was waiting outside the house with a worried look on his face.

Seeing that Fu Yu had a very pleasant expression when he opened the door, he guessed that his girl was fine, so before Fu Yu could say anything more, he ordered someone to serve food.

¡ª¡ªWhen You Tong was carried back unconscious in the afternoon, everyone in the courtyard was really frightened. Fortunately, the doctor said it was nothing serious. Chuncao and Granny Xu were relieved, so they asked Aunt Xia to prepare the preparations according to You Tong's usual preference.  Quite a sumptuous meal.

The two steaming bowls of fresh meat wontons were brought first, and the fillings were mixed with fresh meat.He secretly helped Zhao Yanzhi and tried to bring down Wei Jian.

When Fu Yu came back from the capital, he didn't take a breath and was busy again.

But every evening, he would take time to see Youtong.

¡°In fact, during his busy schedule, this matter became the most anticipated schedule for him every day.  Every afternoon when the sun was setting, he would quickly finish the things at hand and then go out impatiently, carrying You Tong's favorite snacks, and go to the small courtyard on Lihua Street alone.

And every evening, this small courtyard is always filled with the aroma of food.

Although Xia's wife's cooking skills were not as refined and thoughtful as Du Shuangxi's, she was more than capable of cooking according to Youtong's instructions. Fu Yu took advantage of Youtong's injury and ordered various ingredients to be delivered to the door of the house. After Xia's troubles, Fu Yu  , it can be turned into delicious food and served on the dining table.

Of course, when Fu Yu visited You Tong, he always had to finish his meal before leaving.

If you hadn¡¯t known that this man was busy with trivial matters recently and only had free time before and after meals and rest, You Tong would have almost thought that he was deliberately trying to get a meal by visiting a doctor.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
