Jiang Lingzhou sat in the swaying carriage, his eyes lowered.

Two thick hemp ropes tied her wrists and ankles respectively, making it impossible for her to move.  However, this seemingly crude carriage was carefully padded with soft embroidered pillows and fur blankets, and a small brass basin was placed under the hidden compartment to keep the interior warm as spring.  If her hands had not been tied, she would have thought that this carriage was taking her on a trip.

Although Jiang Lingzhou's heart was a little chaotic, it was more calm and indifferent.  She didn't shout or scream, she just asked outside the car curtain: "Jian Jia, Aunt Lan, are you okay?"

"Don't worry, Princess, they will wake up in less than two hours."

A voice came from outside the car curtain. It was elegant and clear, and very familiar. It belonged to Fu Hui.

Hearing this, Jiang Lingzhou breathed a sigh of relief in his heart.  Then, she stared at her feet and began to recall what happened in that short stick of incense.

How did things become what they are now?

Fu Hui was ordered by Xiao Junchi to come to Neem Garden to deliver gifts.  Jiang Lingzhou got up sleepily. She originally thought that Fu Hui's portrait of Xiao Jun was another three-year-old portrait, or a letter with a list of promiscuous women; but what she saw outside was a staggering mess on the ground.  There is also the figure of Fu Huiqing among the maids.

"General Fu, what does this mean?" she asked.

"Princess, Princess," Fu Hui lowered his head, his voice as gentle as before, "For the sake of the flesh and blood in your belly, please do not hurt yourself. Yelling or disturbing others is not allowed. Hui has already  I have made a big mistake and I don¡¯t want to hurt the descendants of the Xiao family again.¡±

Before Jiang Lingzhou could ask the question, she was restrained by Fu Hui and covered her mouth again.  Due to her pregnancy, she did not dare to move at will, so she had to rely on the palace guards.

But how could the palace guards stop Fu Hui?

Fu Hui and Xiao Junchi have had a friendship on the battlefield for nearly ten years. They fought for Xiao Junchi through life and death, and were Xiao Junchi's confidant and right-hand man.  He and Song Zhenxia accompanied Xiao Junchi from a young boy to the position of regent, and now accompanied him back to Jingling.

Because of this special favor, he and Song Zhenxia have always been able to enter and exit the palace freely.  Fu Hui and Xiao Junchi, like Yao Yong and Xiao Tuji, like Boya and Ziqi, or Yang Jiaoai and Zuo Baitao, have always been close friends.

The wheels made a soft squeaking sound, running over the deserted stone slabs covered with night frost, and walked towards the gate of the county government.  The county guards who were on curfew patrol saw that the person coming was Fu Hui, and they all retreated and saluted.

Jiang Lingzhou knew that Fu Hui was very skilled. If she asked for help here, she would probably end up with everyone dying here.  So, she said nothing.

After leaving the county gate, she slowed down her voice and said: "General Fu, this is a joke that the prince made on me, right? What else is the prince hiding that you want me to guess?"

There was no answer, only the squeaking sound of the wheels echoed in my ears.

Jiang Lingzhou waited for a long time, but couldn't wait for Fu Hui's answer.  Her breathing quickened slightly, and there was a hint of disbelief in her voice: "General Fu You and the prince have known each other for nearly ten years. I know that you have shielded him from injuries, and I also know that you have saved me.  Ten years  Ah! General Fu."

At this moment, she really couldn't guess Fu Hui's intentions.

¡°If we say that he betrayed Xiao Junchi, the previous scenes would be too real.  We have lived and died together for ten years, and we have walked side by side from humble beginnings to prominence.  What price can be paid for such friendship?

Suddenly, a gust of night wind blew up the thick car curtains, revealing Fu Hui Lai, who was driving in front.  His back was straight, his posture was like an eagle, and his tied black hair was ruffled by the wind.  Suddenly, he raised his hand and whipped the riding crop with his cloth-gloved right hand¡ª¡ª

This scene fell in Jiang Lingzhou's eyes, but her pupils narrowed sharply.

    How familiar is this scene?

When she was kidnapped in Taiyan West Palace, the man in black had exactly the same posture and the same gloves.  Even if it turns into ashes, she can't forget it.

Jiang Lingzhou's voice was a little trembling, and she asked: "General Fu, are you the one who kidnapped me from the West Palace?"

The heavy car curtains were lowered, hiding his straight back.  When Fu Hui's voice came, it was slightly blurred by the night wind.  It's just that he didn't answer Jiang Lingzhou's question, he just muttered something that Jiang Lingzhou couldn't quite understand.

"When I was young and ignorant, Hui thought that good luck was a gift from God; if he had good luck, he could easily get it. Now that I think about it, I realize that this so-called luck is all barter, and the price was clearly marked in the previous life. The so-called  "Promote one's life and do good deeds" means that the good deeds in the past life are no longer enough, and the good fortune in this life may also be"The jade cicada with fine water plucks the strings and marries the vast sea to persuade Di to drink wine."  "

Jiang Lingzhou saw that he really did not take another step forward and would never cross the thunder pool, so he moved forward slightly and said: "The literary talent of King Anqing is indeed not inferior to that of the past.  Go back quickly to accompany the bride."

Liu Cong twitched the corner of his mouth, and a layer of bitterness appeared on his handsome face: "I'm afraid she doesn't want to see me. I heard that before marrying to Zhaocheng, she ran away twice, and was finally tied up in a sedan chair by her brother.  .¡±

Jiang Lingzhou was slightly stunned by what he said.

Liu Cong¡¯s status now is not as good as it was then. The person who married his sister must have the idea of ????taking a gamble on Liu Cong.  In this way, the woman who married Liu Cong was indeed unhappy at all.

"So I thought, instead of making her look disgusted with me, it would be better to come and sit here in Heyang, which is better than having her put a small gold knife next to her pillow. Maybe the snow will stop, and I will go back." Liu Cong said.

"Who are you marrying?" Jiang Lingzhou asked.

"She is an acquaintance of Heyang," he replied, "Gehuna, the noble daughter of the great Wei Dynasty." (Remember this website address: www.hlnovel.com
